Ever since Qiao Rong moved to Nanshan Village a month ago, his daily routine had only been cultivating or harassing Shen Haofeng with the excuse to buy his quarry.

Shen Haofeng's headaches are increasing every day. The girl always bothered him morning, noon, and night. In the morning usually Qiao Rong would whine to join Shen Haofeng going to the mountain. During the day, Qiao Rong would disturb Shen Haofeng in his house who was skinning a game beast. In the evening, Qiao Rong would always invite Shen Haofeng to dinner together at his house.

Of course, Qiao Rong's offers and wishes in the morning and night straight away Shen Haofeng rejected without batting an eye.

Qiao Rong would just smile. The more Shen Haofeng refused, the more Qiao Rong would find the young man so attractive. He was like a little boy who had just gotten a new toy that kept running away from him. Of course the little boy would not refuse the toy, he would continue to chase after it.

Right now, Qiao Rong was standing in Shen Haofeng's courtyard by the lake. He was busy looking at Shen Haofeng who was skinning a tiger.

"Well! That tiger is so big, you must be so good at catching it!" Shen Haofeng was simply speechless, as usual.

"It looks like his skin will be very good. I'll buy a little skin of it do you agree?" Shen Haofeng only gave a small nod, and resumed his work.

Even so, Qiao Rong remained happy. A month ago, Shen Haofeng would not even respond to his question while doing something.

When it started to get dark, Qiao Rong as usual would go to Shen Haofeng's house. He would find Shen Haofeng as usual leaning back in his chair. Enjoy tea while waiting for the moonlight to come out.

"Shen Haofeng!" Qiao Rong smiled broadly at him. Shen Haofeng only looked over for a moment, then downed his teacup again.

Qiao Rong tugged at Shen Haofeng's sleeves. "Let's have dinner at my house today, okay? It's gonna be really exciting. To imagine you being silent while eating with my brothers alone I've wanted to laugh." Please Qiao Rong with a glass.

Shen Haofeng had just realized something when Qiao Rong called out the word 'eat'. He forgot to buy rice because he was too busy skinning his tiger today. In the end, he nodded and stood up.

Qiao Rong was stunned for a moment. For a month now, he invited Shen Haofeng every day to hear his repulsion. And he continues to feel challenged. "What else are you waiting for?" Shen Haofeng looked towards Qiao Rong's hand that was still holding onto his sleeve, yet still did not budge. Qiao Rong immediately regained his senses, released his grasp, and went to follow Shen Haofeng from behind.

Chu Yue who had always been waiting for Qiao Rong to return from Shen Haofeng's house was shocked when she saw that Qiao Rong had actually returned with Shen Haofeng.

"Ya—, Brother." Chu Yue had almost been flabbergasted, if Qiao Rong had not glared at her. "Please come in." Chu Yue continued to Shen Haofeng.

Shen Haofeng nodded.

Their arrival was followed by Duan Yi, Hu Fei, and Gao Ping who had come from the house next door. They were already used to eating with Qiao Rong, Qiao Rong's treatment of them was also like a brother. It seemed like their sense of disdain had already gone away on their own after having dinner a few times together.

Now the six of them were sitting together at a round dining table filled with various kinds of delicious food made by Chu Yue. There was a fried lotus root with a special sauce of Chu Yue, the grilled chicken that Qiao Rong bought from Shen Haofeng, the sweet sour fish that Duan Yi caught earlier this afternoon, and many more.

Shen Haofeng had only eaten for the first time in such a crowded atmosphere. Duan Yi, Hu Fei, and Gao Ping were indeed very noisy when conversing, let alone their togetherness as palace soldiers every day had made them like siblings.

Qiao Rong and Chu Yue also chatted warmly. Every now and then, Qiao Rong would throw curious glances at him and smile.

Shen Haofeng felt very strange. This kind of warmth, he had never had before. In that dinner, he also just realized how beautiful Qiao Rong was with her birthmark that had faded completely. Just that time, he looked at Qiao Rong properly.

"Come, eat more, brother." Chu Yue stuffed a piece of chicken thigh onto Qiao Rong's plate. Actually he felt uncomfortable having to call Qiao Rong like that, but of course he had no other choice.

Shen Haofeng continued to maintain his smile while looking at the moonlight by the lake.

Suddenly a black shadow arrived behind him in silence.

"Your Majesty, the Sky King has already started to move. We need to be ready to mobilize troops." Said the man dressed all in black with a silver moon-shaped accessory attached to the left of his chest. Shen Haofeng nodded without turning back.

"Jiang Junwei's. Your Moon Shadow Technique already looks perfect from the outside. But you still made a mistake on the first step of landing. Your qi aura was detected for a moment." Shen Haofeng conveyed the criticism coldly.

Jiang Junwei, the man behind him clenched both his hands on his chest and bowed. "Thank you for Your Majesty's enlightenment."

Shen Haofeng sighed. He was still thinking about the new dinner he had. And for the first time in his life, there was a woman who made him look at her completely.

Shen Haofeng finally followed Jiang Junwei with a smile on his face.

"Shen Haofeng!" Qiao Rong had been shouting for so long, yet Shen Haofeng was nowhere to be seen around his house.

Bizarrely. Did he go to the mountain? Qiao Rong could not help but question it in his heart.

Qiao Rong decided to return home and pay a visit back during the day. But during the day, it was unexpected that he found the same answer.

Shen Haofeng seemed to have disappeared in the swallow of the earth. He was not at home from morning until night. Today, Qiao Rong had even visited Shen Haofeng's house five times. But there was not the slightest sign of life that he found.

Qiao Rong could only lie limp on his bed. All day he could not stop thinking about where Shen Haofeng had gone.

Qiao Rong immediately stood up.

Li Junyan was complaining of pain.

"seen? You'll miss him soon." Said Li Junyan rubbing his head. "Even no one has ever treated the guardian spirit of the Yin Yang Book this harshly." Li Junyan muttered in the smallest voice possible.

"What are you talking about!" Qiao Rong once again clocked his head tightly.

"No! There's nothing!" Li Junyan again complained of pain. Cursed is his mouth for having fished a second story.

Qiao Rong was already determined not to let Li Junyan's remark come true. He was very confident that would not happen.
