The Eternal Cultivation Way of the main character was different from the way the universe he had/would visit.
There were only three stages of cultivation: Dao Body, Spirit Dao, and Transcendent.

True Completion: combining three dantians into one core.

Stage 2: Spirit Dao

Half Completion: freeing your Dao Spirit from the core like the birth of Dragon and Phoenix and then developing the Spirit Dao until full maturation.
If you have chosen the Fake Dao Body, your Spirit Dao will affect your Dao Body with its Innate Dao after coming out of the core, but this will slow down the maturation of the Spirit Dao.
If you have chosen the True Dao Body, your development will be quick.
At this stage, your unique abilities related to the Dao will increase significantly. You can also reform your shattered body as long as your Spirit Dao is not extinguished.
True Completion: combining the Dao Body and Dao Spirit into one; your Dao Seed will grow roots that will take root in your being.
After entering this stage, you will become an immortal being but not an immortal being. Even if your being (body and soul) is destroyed, as long as your Dao Seed is not extinguished or stolen, you can rise again.
Your affinity for your chosen Dao will reach its peak but it is not enough to use your unique abilities related to the Dao without depleting your Qi. Stage 3: Transcendent

Layer 1 - Heavenly Ascension

You can freely live and move in the vast multiverse. The violation of true voidness will not affect you anymore.
