CHAPTER 20 FAMILY MEETING

After finishing breakfast Kenzo decides to drive Clara home to Clara's apartment.

Kenzo and Clara finally get to Clara's apartment, Kenzo who is tired of choosing to go straight home to his throat after seeing Clara enter the apartment.

Kenzo drives his car and is curious about Samuel's illness, and disappears without any news.

After a while Kenzo finally arrived in front of his house, his house was very quiet because it was late at night when Kenzo arrived home.

Kenzo climbed one by one the stairs to his room, slowly Kenzo opened the door of his room and went inside and chose to change his clothes first before heading to his bed that was very comfortable and soft.

Kenzo who had changed his clothes in pajamas immediately lay in his bed and suddenly thought about Steven who was still hiring detectives.

Kenzo decided to call Steven, the ringtone was connected and lifted by Steven who seemed to have fallen asleep in his sleep and then woke up because the phone rang.

"Hallo, what are you calling me at night?" steven asked in a typical wake-up voice.

"I just found out that Samuel was so sick that he went missing for no reason" Kenzo said.

Suddenly Steven who just woke up felt shocked to hear Kenzo's words.

"Where do you know?" ask Steven.

"I know from my mother and it turns out my mother is still in friendship with her mother Samuel" replied Kenzo.

"Keep your mama said no what's the disease until she disappears from us for a long time?" ask Steven.

"My mom just told me Samuel's mom said Samuel was very sick and needed to be treated abroad" Kenzo replied.

"Why do you call me at night if you just want to tell me why Samuel disappeared from before us?" ask Steven.

Kenzo who heard Steven chuckle and explained what he wanted to say.

"I want you to investigate what Samuel's illness was so that you need to go abroad for treatment because I feel suspicious about the illness he's suffering from" Kenzo replied.

"Well I'll call my hired detective to investigate Samuel's illness" Steven replied.

"Okay, thank you, my friend, I hope to get some news from you soon" Kenzo said.

"Okay" Steven replied.

The phone connection was cut off and Kenzo decided to lay back his body and close his eyes.

A very cool morning and the sound of birds greeting anyone who is still sleeping under the blanket because they do not know why it rained last night and as a result people who are still sleeping behind the blanket feel lazy to sleep.

Steven who was still comfortable asleep behind his blanket was disturbed by the alarm coming from his cellphone.

Steven slowly began to wake up from his sleep then stretched all the muscles of his body that felt stiff. Not long after Steven decides to call his rental detective. When the first ringtone rang the detective immediately picked up the phone from Steven.

"Hallo, how can I help Mr Steven?" ask detective Tom.

"Sir I want you to investigate the illness suffered by Samuel" Steven replied.

"Well, I'll investigate soon" retorted detective Tom.

After getting a call from Steven, the detective immediately investigates the reason why Samuel disappeared. From the data he got it turns out that Samuel had not been abroad but Samuel was still in the same country as Kenzo and ran a consultation with a psychologist.

The detective knows the name of the psychologist who handled Samuel during his disappearance and drives his car directly to the hospital where the psychologist practices.

When he got to the hospital he went straight to the receptionist to register himself so that he could easily meet with the doctor.

After waiting for a long time finally the name of the detective was called and he immediately entered the doctor's room.

"Good morning, Tom, what complaints?" ask Anna's doctor.

"I don't want to make a complaint but I want to ask for Mr Samuel Loren's medical records" Detective Tom replied.

"I'm sorry sir but I can't give someone else's medical records" Anna's doctor replied.

The detective who heard the reason the doctor immediately reached into his bag and pulled out a brown envelope containing a wad of money, the doctor Anna who saw the money immediately sparkled her eyes.

"If you would cooperate by giving me Samuel Loren's medical records, I would give you this money" detective Tom said.

Anna's doctor immediately took the money and put it in a drawer and searched Samuel's medical records.

Detective Tom, who saw Anna's doctor giving her the medical records, took it and drove to her car.

Arriving in the car he read the results of the medical record and immediately contact Steven.

Steven who saw Detective Tom call him immediately raised him on the first dial.

"Hallo what's wrong?" ask Steven.

"I want to tell you about the illness suffered by Samuel sir" replied Detective Tom.

"Quick explain it to me!!!" shouts Steven.

"According to the results of the medical records that I have found Samuel lacking the affection of his parents, samuel's parents had long since separated and this made him depressed and irritable to little things, then he was always obsessed and wanted to always be first instead of second" detective Tom said.

Steven who listened to the words of the investigation detective Tom became shocked because all he knew before Samuel disappeared he was a mediocre person and his behavior was nothing strange.

After hearing the answer from detective Tom, Samuel immediately thanked and told detective Tom to keep investigating Samuel because Steven felt that Samuel had a bad plan that he planned behind his return to the country.

In another place Clara who was at her desk suddenly remembered the meeting of parents to discuss the engagement and then Clara immediately contacted her parents.

"Hallo ma mama when is there free time?, Kenzo intends to hold a parent meeting before the engagement event," asked Clara.

"The day after tomorrow is empty, it's a pity that there's no parent meeting" replied Florence.

"Okay ma," replied Clara.

The phone connection was cut off and Clara was headed straight for Kenzo's room. After reaching the front of Kenzo's room he immediately knocked on the door and Kenzo immediately told him to go inside.

Clara immediately entered Kenzo's room after hearing Kenzo's orders to tell her to come in and immediately sat in front of Kenzo who was still calling with a client.

Kenzo who had finished the conversation with the client immediately looked at Clara who was sitting in front of him. Clara who was stared by Kenzo immediately intended his arrival to Kenzo's room.

"Well I'll tell my parents that your mama has free time the day after tomorrow" Kenzo replied.

"Okay, I don't have anything to say anymore, I go back to my room first" Clara said.

"OK," Kenzo replied.

Clara who had finished saying what she wanted to say to Kenzo immediately returned to her room, then Kenzo immediately told her family that the day after tomorrow there would be a parent's meeting to discuss when they would be fiancee, kenzo's parents who heard this immediately agreed on the time when the parent's meeting took place.

The day that awaited arrived, the day that the two big families will hold their meeting.

At the Aryani Restaurant where Kenzo and Clara had a parent meeting, all family members from both sides had gathered.

Mama Clara, who sees Kenzo feeling never introduced to Kenzo, is confused and begins to question the man in front of her.

"Clara oh, this is Kenzo, and you came to Kenzo yesterday" Florence said.

Kenzo who heard the words of her mother Clara felt shocked and thought who was invited by Clara to Clara's house.

"Clara, who's the same guy you were that your mama told you to go home with you?" ask Kenzo.

then Kenzo sees Clara's strange behavior and Kenzo begins to wonder in his heart who the man is.

Clara's misbehavior immediately tries to distract Kenzo.

"Nobody dear is just an old friend who happens to be in the same city" Clara told Kenzo, winking her eyes at her mother.

Mama Clara who saw the blink of an eye from her son immediately closed her mouth so as not to discuss the matter of Clara's lover who came home because she did not want to make her plan to get a rich daughter-in-law vanished just because of a small mistake.

After discussing what I had been there during the fiancee event, the two large families immediately ate the food that was presented in front of them.

The meeting finally broke out and Kenzo invited all his family members and Clara's family to shop at the Novi mall first before ending their meeting.

Mama Clara and Clara who were invited to go shopping by Kenzo felt very happy and when they arrived at Novi mall, the two people immediately entered all the stores and bought a lot of goods and clothes.

Kenzo who saw this can only shake his head to see the behavior of the Clara family and make Kenzo feel ilfeel.

After Clara and her mother finished shopping, Kenzo drove Clara and her future parents-in-law home.

Kenzo who decided to go home after dropping off Clara suddenly got a phone call and immediately he picked up.

"Hallo what's up, bro?" ask Kenzo.

"I want to convey the results of an investigation conducted by my detectives regarding embezzlement of funds in your company has yielded results, he managed to catch the culprit but the person did not want to say who told him," Steven said.

"Steven do you remember the basement in my office?" ask Kenzo.

"Of course I remember it was a very creepy room" Steven replied.

"I want you to keep him there and tomorrow I'll see him" Kenzo replied.

"Okay, bro" said Steven.

The phone call was interrupted after the conversation, Kenzo immediately drove his car to his home.

When he reached the house Kenzo went straight to his room and immediately changed his clothes and rested his body in a soft and comfortable mattress.

The night that featured the beautiful moon slowly changed with the sun that presented itself then began to illuminate the entire world with its warmth.

Kenzo who was neat early in the morning using work clothes and had finished his breakfast immediately walked out of his house in a hurry and then immediately drove his car to his office.

When he arrived at the office, Kenzo went straight to a special elevator that would take him to a special room underground.

The room is a room designed to punish anyone who is a traitor in Kenzo's company.

The room has very little lighting and very minimal air holes and the place is very terrible.

Kenzo walked up to the basement and immediately saw the person embezzling the company's funds.

The person turns out to be a Kenzo confidant named Hasan who works in the financial sector. Kenzo who saw that the employee he was proud of turned out to be a traitor, Kenzo immediately walked up to the person.

"Who's the guy who told you to embezzle company funds?" ask Kenzo to Hasan.

Hasan did not budge at all and just remained silent, Kenzo who saw it immediately wrathful and told the bodyguards who were there to hit Hasan.

The bodyguard hit the employee many times but Hasan still did not want to admit who told him so that Kenzo was getting angry and took the knife in the room.

Kenzo put his foot where the knife was placed and took it and he approached Hasan.

When Kenzo was in front of his trusted employees he tortured Hasan with his knife and Hasan who was tortured by Kenzo was very afraid and willing to admit who told him to.

"Sir Kenzo forgive me, I will confess who told me to" Hasan said on his knees.

"Quick-talk who told you to embezzle company funds?" ask Kenzo.

"What told me was Mr. Samuel sir, he threatened that I would hurt my family if I didn't cooperate with him" Hasan replied.
