Chapter 21

The day of the report has come. Alin came in accompanied by the grandmother as usual. His grandmother was always satisfied with the results of the learning of his grandchildren.

After dropping out of the classroom, Alin tried to find the Eagle in his class. But he did not find the man's nose.

"Where is he? isn't school yet?" ask Alin.

Alin eventually followed his grandmother to go home. Alin's heart was somewhat disappointed that it could not find the Eagle.

Alin also already knew that Papa Eagle had been in the grave last night.She had seen the show on television.

It was like Alin was visiting an eagle to his house. But he had no address Eagle. Anyway If he had the address of the man's house he would definitely not have the courage to go there.

"It's stupid why I don't have the Eagle's number at all" he said only to realize that his phone doesn't have the Eagle's number.

Alin tries to find the Eagle social media on his phone but it's all privacy.

Alin's grandmother sitting next to the driver's seat looked back. He was amazed to see his grandson was only busy looking at his cellphone since he was in the car. Moreover, his face had been restless since earlier.

"What do you think? kok is so restless, like thinking of children at home have not eaten" said his grandmother.

"It could be a granny" said the driver, who is the granddaughter of Alin's grandmother's cousin.

"What is this grandma" said Alin grumbled but still focused on his phone.

Alin finally put his phone in his bag. He focused on looking towards the road. But his mind drifted somewhere.

Holidays have come, Alin is busy as usual following additional study. Every holiday he was always told his grandmother to follow additional learning.

If usually he likes to follow additional learning, different from the holidays this time. He's really bored. His body is in tutelage but his heart is where.

The Eagle disappeared without any news. Moreover, Alin who incidentally never communicate with Eagle via phone or the like.

"Did I ask Rima, she must have the Eagle's number" Alin said in his heart.

Alin hurried to retrieve his phone which was located on the nightstand in the room. He tried to send a message to Rima.

"Hopefully he will give." he said expectantly.

After sending the message, there was no sign of reply from Rima. Alin just waited while looking at his phone.

Alin knew that his friend had read the message he sent. Alin finally resigned because he knew that the woman would not share.

"Do I ask Nori, yes, I'm sure that Nori has the Eagle's number" he said.

Alin tries to find Nori's number on his phone. He tried to send Nori the same message.

Just sent, Alin's phone rang. Nori's name was on his phone. Alin immediately sat on his bed. He pushed the button to agree to the sign that the phone was answered immediately.

"Hello assalamualaikum."

"Waalaikumsalam, so because it needs a new Eagle number contact me" Nori joked across the street.

"I don't, I just..."

"What only?" ask Nori.

"Yes afraid you're mad at me for that."

"But I don't want to apologize."

Alin felt guilty. She shouldn't have silenced Nori. She should have come to Nori to apologize. But after Naomi's departure, there was no desire to be close to the family.

"Are you just approaching me for something?"

"Maybe you're using me for something."

"Where is it so."

Alin was silent at the question coming out of Nori's mouth. Alin won't let Nori know everything. He knew it would ruin his mother's happiness.

Alin was willing to live without the love of a mother. He did not want to snatch that happiness from the Nori family.

"Why is Alin silent? since when did you know that mom is your mom?"

"Nori, what are you talking about?" tanya Alin tried to shy away from Nori's question.

"Papa already know everything, for papa will not be difficult to find any information."

"Nori.i...."

"You're not wrong, but I wonder why you lied to us all" said the man, his voice filled with sadness.

"I realized the first time I came to your house, until I tried to match the photo we had, your mom's face was exactly like your mom's."

"I'm used to living like this with my grandmother, and you're used to living happily with your mama" replied Alin again. Again he tried to throw away his ego. His heart no longer wanted to beg his mother for love.

"Nori, I'm sorry if my problems just make your family fight, I'm sorry mama, mama wrote for your family, I'm just your mama's past, my mother's past, it could be that I am a mistake born from my mother's womb, so I beg you to keep singing like you are" Alin said.

"Well..."

"I beg you not to talk about anything else, assume we don't know what, the clock now please give me the Eagle number."

Alin put down his phone and just let out his tears. Again his tears came out.

Suddenly a notification sounded. He saw Nori sending the Eagle's number.

Alin wiped away her tears. He tried to keep the Eagle number in his cell phone contact. After that, he called.

No one picked up the phone. Then Alin tried to send a message to the Eagle.

[Assalamualaikum Lang, how are you? I hope all is well, I'm so sorry. By Alin]

Alin sent the message to the Eagle. But there is something that makes Alin disappointed because it arrived - the message arrived only tick one.
