Akarmani 4: The Duchy Arrives

*Fire in Jintamani Kingdom (Akarmani)*

Piuk piuk …!

The soldier named Gawe Isang blew a leaf that he deliberately brought a twig to the top of the fort.

“Hey, Ringworm Weasel!” shouted the guard soldier of the Capital Gate named Delik Aduan while looking fully at his fellow soldiers of the fort. It seemed that he did not memorize the name of his colleague.

Gawe Isang so stopped the blowing of the leaves and ducked down with a questioning face.

“What's up, Weasel Mendoan?” asked Gawe Isang with reply wrestled fellow in that position.

“You do not play such a leaf, later it is suspected that there is an enemy playing password!” hardik Delik Aduan's.

“Aaaah! Where there are enemies who can play leaves like me!” rebut Gawe Isang then pulled his face back up.

Gawe Isang, who was on top of the fort walls with some of his colleagues, returned to play inflatable leaves.

“Basic wooden head! Heard Commander Galagap just knew his taste!” gerutu Delik Aduan to some of his comrades who stood guard at the gate of the eastern fortress of the Capital City.

“There are enemy troops dataaang! There's an army of enemy dataaang!” gawe Isang shouted loudly with a tense face. He even shouted to his comrades who were standing guard below.

“Lack not selling! Hahaha!” the Undak Appeal said and then laughed in crowds.

However, it was different from the fellow soldiers who stood guard over the fortress. Hearing that scream of Gawe Isang, they also looked towards the far front. And as a result, they were surprised.

From behind the height of the contour of the ground sprang a number of banners as the appearance of rows of human heads that lined up widened to the side.  Not just one saf, but several saf. Although the number was not as much as the Jintamani Kingdom troops who left that day, but it was a large enough number to attack the Capital Fortress.

If counted, there is one large flag of the army and seven different colors. The flag of the army is red with a picture of the sun shining purple, different from the color of the sun of the Kingdom of Jintamani which is white.

“This purple sun will remind me that I, the Queen of Color Mekararum, have lived for many years in the torment of vicious poison!” exclaimed Queen Colour Mekararum to her loyal dukes when deciding to have the army flag.

“There's an enemy army coming! There's an enemy army coming!” the soldiers shouted over the fortress to say nothing to his comrades.

Delik Aduan and Appeal Undak with his colleagues below so dumbfounded to hear the panic above.

Kooong …! Kooong …!

The circular horn of a sheep is blown long with a special tone that tells those who understand that an enemy is coming to attack.

“Come quickly close the gate!” the cry of Delik Aduan became panicked first among the soldiers guarding the gate of the Capital Fortress.

Delik Aduan and Appeal Undak immediately entered with other colleagues. They immediately closed the gate and locked it.

The flashing of trumpets signaled that there were enemy troops coming to attack, making the warrior leaders inside the Capital immediately mobilize their respective squads and head towards the Capital fortress, the capital city,

Tong keg keg …!

Inside the capital city were also hit by bamboo tongs that gave a warning about the potential for war.

Residents of the Capital turned frantic and chose to go home to gather in their respective homes. They have to cancel activities outside the home for the time being. Moreover, the movement of the Capital Security Forces looks crowded towards the eastern fortress.

Commander Galagap who had just served hot coffee in the teahouse, immediately sipped his black water which was still smoky until it ran out. It was fortunate that he did not order the duo's boiled noodles anyway, so there was no need to sip more hot water.

“Mak Cantial, please record into my monthly bill!” shouted the Galagap Commander as he got up and grabbed his sheathed sword lying by his side.

“What if you die in war, Commander Gusti?” asked Mak Cantial, a middle-aged woman of more than seven years whose hair bleached quickly.

“Find my body and grab my armor for you to sell,” Commander Galagap replied as he walked outside the shop.

A soldier came running up to him as he approached his horse.

“Gusti Commander, there are enemy troops coming closer!” report the soldier while respecting.

“I already know. Go back to your position!” command of Commander of Galagap.

“Good, Gusti Commander!”   

Commander Galagap then climbed on the back of his horse. He then threw his horse towards the fortress of the Capital.

There, the Capital Army had gathered a force of only a thousand personnel. Most of the troops gathered below. While on top of the fort is an army of arrows.

Apparently, on top of the fortress there are three wooden throwing devices whose size is not so large compared to the stone throwing tools that are usually taken to the battlefield. In addition, there were small wooden drums the size of one slender wife hug. The drums were transported from the bottom through a stone staircase on the inner side of the fort.

On top of the fort is also now lit fire in the stone container. There are three large stone containers.

“Gusti Commander! Gusti Commander!” call the soldiers while saluting to the Commander of Galagap who walks past on the fortress.

Overall, the army was led by a duke named Adipati Lalang Lengir, Duke of the Duchy of Scarek with black banner.

The other is Duke Garongjaga of the Duchy of Rangkas Kelud with brown banner, Duke Butak Jelaga of Duno Duchy with white banner, Duke Kendrang of Duchy of Bangkan with blue banner, and, Duke Panji Gumo of the Duchy of Bukit Aren green banner, Plt. The duke of Pagamuyung Duchy named the Banggar Bojo with yellow banner, and the swordsman named Adipaksa who was the main student of Red Knife College with red banner. (BH)
