Petra was reluctant to listen to every word that came out of the evil man's mouth. His body paled because he could not breathe properly due to a bond in his neck. He was only able to see the ceiling of the room that seemed faint to him.

"Pick tock tock.." Nico plays his watch. "Ckckck, that's pathetic. The squad you care about doesn't even care about you. Look, they didn't come to save you."

Petra glanced sharply at Nico, filled with hatred implied there.

"Have they given you completely to me?" Nico again stroked Petra's pale face.

"It's time for you to die!"

Nico immediately kicked the chair where Petra was treading. Petra slipping. His body is hanging again. His neck is strongly attracted. The ginger-bread woman was crying. His mouth was trying to scream for help.

"If you don't fight me, you won't be like this, baby."

Petra's two weak hands continued to hold the ties to her neck, trying to take it off. His body that was originally capable of rebelling was now increasingly limp.

"To. long-aarrghh. ja.ngan.." Petra cried limp.

BRAAKK!!!

The jolted Nico immediately turned towards the door, revealing the figure of Levi who was already standing in the doorway with a sharp gaze filled with anger. And can be seen clearly both blades of the sword in his hand, ready to slash anyone.

Levi was shocked to see Petra's body hanging from the ceiling. "They!"

"Well, you messed up the ritual." Nico put the wooden chair back so Petra could set her foot back.

Petra was panting while crying in pain. He was running out of oxygen and almost dead. He looked faintly at the figure of his captain.

"You just broke my door, you know. Aren't you going to apologize?" ask Nico casually.

Levi was shocked when he heard the familiar voice. Allegedly right. "You.."

Nico looked over, revealing his ugly face. "It seems you're not growing well huh, Levi."

Levi screeches. "Naico!"

Petra surprised. Captain, know Nico?

Nico codes all of his men in the room to come out of hiding and confront Levi.

Turns out there are still his men left, Levi's inner.

"You remember me apparently. Thank goodness you came. I thought you didn't care about this beautiful lady anymore." Nico gently stroked Petra's pale face. Petra bluffing. He felt disgusted and goosebumps at once.

Levi came straight ahead. The two swords returned he finished them off smartly and injured Nico's men one by one.

Please God, protect the captain. May he and the others be well, Petra murmured. He feels very guilty for inconveniencing his friends and putting his team in danger, especially Captain Levi.

"Well, let's see if you can beat all my men." Nico watched as he folded his hands in front of his chest.

Of course he can. In an instant, Levi had already knocked five of Nico's men unconscious. Levi had only 3D Maneuvering Gear, while they were armed with pistols.

Until. there are five more..

"Aarghh-uhuk!!"

Suddenly Nico hit Petra's stomach. Petra immediately vomited blood.

Levi subconsciously slightly lost his focus due to seeing Petra's state. He did not see that one of Nico's men pointed a gun at him.

"Saucer.ten.." Petra tries to warn Levi to dodge, but it is too late.

DUAARR!!

"Aragh!" Levi whimpered in pain. Luckily, he reacted. The shot hit his left arm. Levi screeched while holding his blood-stained arm.

"Hoo, look. Your beloved captain is getting hurt because of you."

Petra was crying softly. What Nico said was true. Captain Levi was injured because of his weak self. He can only wait and wait to be saved. He no longer cared about his deteriorating body. All he cared about was the safety of the captain and his friends.

"Captain!"

Levi immediately turned to the source of the voice. Eld and Oluo direct their handguns and shoot Nico's remaining men.

"Boss! He's carrying-DUARR!!"

The men who had wanted to say were shot directly by Eld.

"What the fuck?! You're not alone?!!"

"Are you the only one who can hide a herd that only wins that amount?"

- FLASHBACK

5 MINUTES BEFORE ENTERING THE BASEMENT..

Levi stopped Oluo and Eld from entering. "Wait."

"What's up, Captain?"

"You guys stay here. Remembering the enemy who knows me and seems to have a personal grudge against me. If the situation becomes an emergency, you can just come in."

"Know captain? What's that supposed?" asked Eld curiously.

"Looks like he was my enemy when he was underground."

"If he is the enemy of the captain, wouldn't it be better to act together. If the captain acts alone, it's suicide" Oluo said.

"Oluo's right, Captain."

"That's right, their main target is me. I'll be the bait. Besides, I want you two to stand guard from behind. Now, you're fighting humans, not Titans. Put your guns on" Levi said.

"But, Captain-"

"If you're afraid of getting your hands dirty, you better back off. I won't force."

Oluo and Eld stared at each other. Then, they took a deep breath and immediately gave a salute. "WE'RE READY TO SMEAR OUR HANDS, CAPTAIN!"

"Hn, great. I'm counting on you."

Oluo and Eld are happy not to play. Their hearts are exploding. Call them excessive. But, being trusted by a Levi was already such a huge award for them. Maybe this is what Petra felt when trusted to be their captain's direct assistant.

"Ready, Captain!"

"Fuck you, Levi!"

Nico just pulled out his gun and was about to shoot again at Levi. However, he lost quickly because Levi had already shot Nico in the right shoulder.

"Aarrgghh!!!" Nico staggered back while holding his shoulder.

THE DUAKK!! THE SLAAPP!!

Levi kicked Nico in the face until the man fell down. Then, he put his sword into Nico's mouth. Nico was shocked while rebelling.

"Don't you dare destroy my army if it's only my business!"

YAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Both fingers of Nico's right hand were instantly slashed savagely by Levi.

BUGHGH!! DUAAKK!!!

Levi kicked and hit Nico repeatedly in the face until Nico was arguably battered.

Levi immediately turned to Petra who was already drowning and surrounded by Oluo and Eld.

Oluo shot the axis of the chain that hung Petra. The unfortunate body was immediately broken by Eld.

Petra coughed while trying to neutralize her breath. He slowly spread his eyes. His head still hurts.

"Petra, can you hear me?" ask Oluo worriedly.

"Bec. lian.." He could faintly see the panicked and worried faces of his two teammates.

"Thank God, you hold on" Eld said in relief.

"They!"

That voice, the voice that Petra inexplicably missed. He saw the small body of his captain who approached him after making Nico battered.

"Captain, I will bring Nico," said Eld, who was softly nodded by Levi.

Once again, the sapphire bead stared intently at Nico. Meanwhile, the one being stared at could still smile with a grin despite being battered.

"Captain.sorry," said Petra limp.

"Shut up, you better stick around till base."

Petra smiled knot. For some reason, he even missed the sharp talk of his captain as usual. However, the smile instantly faded as Petra saw Nico looking a sly smile in the other direction and..

He saw Nico's remaining men, Daniel, slowly come out of hiding, which was the blind spot of Oluo and Eld, but was seen by Petra, he pointed his gun at Captain Levi from behind.

No. could it lead... to the captain?

Oluo who just realized there was the sound of footsteps approaching immediately turned to the source of the voice.

"Captain!" shout Oluo.

Petra quickly pulled the body of the captain behind him to protect him, leaving Levi, Oluo, and Eld shocked..
