The man who sealed the demons was Kyai Marwan, better known as Ki Ageng Selo. Ki Ageng Selo's title was obtained after successfully defeating Nyi Imas, a powerful mandraguna and user of Santet Lemah Ireng, a witchcraft that targets every soul in a certain region. Unlike the usual santet-santet that only targets his target and also his family and children, this santet attacks anyone who is in one city/village with the target.
