Second meeting

"I try not for long, Brother" Deana said as she grabbed the hand of her old friend.

"Oh my goodness, De. Long time no problem either, I'd be happy to have friends at home."

Deana is currently visiting the home of one of her old friends, not only alone but also accompanied by her husband and son, Grey. It's not just a visit. But also because he wanted to leave the child to the woman he called the brother.

Arum Abyan, who is none other than Papa Grey, is a diplomat and must carry out his duties as a diplomatic representative of the country who will leave abroad precisely in Rome, Italy. and it takes a long time for him to be there, will even bring his wife and youngest child who is only 10 years old.

As for Grey, he had absolutely no interest in taking part with his parents given his soon-to-be-finished lecture, he prefers to remain in Indonesia and complete his education rather than having to move universities and have to adapt again to new people and environments. He has no interest in that.

"We can't allow Grey to live alone in Indonesia, he's never been in a long time before." Arum chimed in while putting a cup of black coffee that he had been waiting for back on the table.

"You take it easy, Grey we will take care of her as you look after her, we will regard her as our own daughter" said Raupan, "We are worried, one day you come Grey will forget which one's real parents are." Joking.

Arum and Deana laughed at Raufan's joke. The four middle-aged who are in the neighborhood are friends during college, Arum is friendly with Raufan while Deana and Aira are friends since High School. They split when the two couples had to live a new life in a different country.

"Mi's.." Grey whispered to the Mami who was beside him.

Deana looked at her daughter. "What's up, honey?" Ask.

"I'm going to the toilet."

"Mommy anter?"

Grey shook his head, "No need, Mi." He said, then his gaze turned to the woman who was the same age as his mother who was sitting in front of him, "Tante, where is the toilet?" Ask while putting her sling bag next to the Mami.

"Oh, Grey want to go to the toilet?, aunty call aunty aye?" Aira immediately calls one of her house workers named Minah to drive Grey.

Grey who began to fall straight to his feet shortly after the woman called Bi Minah reached in front of him, he quickly grabbed the woman's hand while saying. "Bi, can you show me the toilet?"

Bi Minah slightly gasped to find her hand held by the sweet girl in front of her, there was a sense of admiration that flashed through her mind to Grey who was very polite in speaking.

"Come, Non. Aunt inter"

Grey started following Bi Minah to finish the urgent call down there. Stay to the four parents who are in the room discussing work issues until their college years first. The two couples last met when Grey was 2 years old and only met again for the past year because of the work of the two husbands who had to move places.

"Assalamualaikum, I'm the one!" A voice interrupted their conversation, as one entered the house in a full-fledged office suit, the man carrying a laptop bag in his left hand while his suit was on his right arm.

Aira turned to the origin of the sound, the arch on her lips was instantly formed when she saw the child just coming and approached her, "Newly come, dear?" A pleasantry question that is not answered with speech is already known the answer.

"Who?" That's what he said.

"Darling, don't you remember them?" Aira pulled the child's hand to sit next to her husband.

The man who was asked just put his shoulder around in a sign of not knowing.

"They're Om Arum and Aunt Deana, Ar." Sahut Raufan pointed at the two people in front of him.

The man called Ar could only smile awkwardly not remembering the two people in front of him even though the father had already mentioned his name.

"Sorry Om, auntie, Argan doesn't remember. But it's good to see you again." He said sincerely while extending his hand to crucify the 2 friends of his parents.

"It's okay, it's natural to forget the person you meet when you're only 10 years old and after that never see you again." Deana said.

It is not to blame if someone forgets after a long time not meeting, likewise with Argan who was 10 years old when he met his parents' friends let alone it was the first and last meeting before they met again today.

"Fan, your son is less handsome than you." Gurau Arum on Raufan

"Not losing, but better looking. That's my gene with Aira working." Reply Raufan while laughing.

People who heard the jokes of the two middle-aged men also laughed, including Argan, who became the topic of jokes.

"Thank you, Bi." Said Grey to Bi Minah after she reached the living room.

The dark brown haired girl immediately became the subject of attention of the people who were there. Argan's gaze was straight on Grey until the sweet girl sat herself beside the Mami.

"Geez, Grey. What have you finished? how come your hair ends get wet?" Tanya Deana looked at Grey's wet hair.

"Grey forgot to bring a hair tie, Mi. so just wash his face with hair." Grey replied, without him realizing there was a man who had seen him.

"Grey needs a towel?" Aira was about to stand up.

But Grey quickly held him back, "No need for aunts, wet him a little, at least dry himself." Refuse smooth.

Aira again landed her butt on the sofa that was half standing, the woman smiled gently. "Ah yes, Ar. You remember Grey?" The question refers to the child who is still focused on his gaze until the man is a little jolted.

"Yes, Bun. Argan remember."
