21. Hospital

In the hallway of Bunda Citra hospital there are three boys who stand anxiously. They're moving around and around like electric irons. The white door of the room opens showing a doctor named Dr. Faisal.

"Where is my friend doc?" Ask Alga to worry.

"He's just a soy sauce, has he been racing a lot lately?"

"Sometimes. Last race was yesterday." replied Reza. Although Reza is willing to talk like a living stone, the guy cares about everyone, especially with Devano.

Reza on Sri's phone this morning, the boy was shocked to hear that Devano had fainted at the home.

Then the guy took Devano to the hospital and called Alga but it seems like Alga also called him Arka.

"Better lessin race, keep his diet and do not let him until the soybean. I say goodbye, I have a schedule with my patients." explains Dr. Faisal

"Please, doc." said Arka, Alga, and Reza.

The three of them entered one by one into Devano's room. The guy looked limp with his face that was as pale as a corpse. Although he was sick, Devano still spread a smile to the people around.

"Why are you smiling? It hurts." said Arka then sat on the sofa.

"Gue is sick, Ka" Devano replied.

Reza gave Devano a drink, "Lo's not sick, you're just that sauce that the doctor said."

"Thank you, Za." Devano received the glass and gulped it in half.

"Why didn't you tell me you like soy sauce? We are not a rich family, Dev" said Alga. The guy was sitting in a chair by the gurney.

"Gue's okay, Al. I was just late to eat the same lack of rest," replied Devano weakly. Guys don't have the energy just to talk.

"Are you eating now?" tanya Alga raised her eyebrows. But only in reply to the grunts by Devano. The man did not have time to eat breakfast because he was in a hurry to meet Kiko and Dafa at the orphanage.

"If so I go out daft," said Reza but held by Arka.

"Gue aja, Za. I just happen to want to buy something outside. You just keep your friends who ngeyel" said Arka and then the guy came out of this room.

Luna. Now that the girl was in the hospital, after returning from Nisa's house she immediately contacted Faisal's doctor to check on her immediately. She was completely limp now, Luna was unwilling to make her father worry so she took the initiative to the hospital herself.

"Why are your allergies coming back?"

"Luna did not accidentally eat shrimp, doc." answered Luna considering she ate the sponge-bolu shrimp made by her mother Nisa.

"Dad you know?" ask the doctor who is writing some prescription medications.

"Dad doesn't know. Luna also asked the doctor not to tell dad, yes. Luna didn't want me to worry" Luna said, asking Faisal's doctor to keep this secret.

Doctor Faisal smiled in response to Luna's words. Dr. Faisal is not just any doctor, but a close friend of Rey and doctors trust Luna family.

"Here you can redeem the medicine in the pharmacy, next time you have to be more careful."

While in the corridor of Luna hospital accidentally hit someone. Luna's eyes glared when she saw who was hit. Luna did not want to waste her time, so she continued her path.

"Lo's sick?" suddenly Luna's hand was smothered.

"It's none of your business" Luna threw down the hand that held her down and left, but failed because her hand was held back.

"Gue nanya, Luna." the guy stood in front of Luna and saw a face that made him peaceful. "Lo hurts what? Why are you here?"

"My allergies are relapsing." replied Luna cuek

"Can we relapse? You do not keep your diet, you do not worry me, Luna. If you get sick I fail to keep lo, keep—"

"Stop, Arka!" Luna grew tired of Arka pretending to be nice to her. "Not to interfere too much in the lives of others. I know you feel sorry for me, but I'm not that sad."

"No, I—"

"Gue said stop!" Luna held up her index finger near Arka's lips. "Gue doesn't want to hear anything. I want from now on to stop disrupting my life, Lolly has come so stop as if you give me hope."

"Gue here is just a substitute role in your life," continued Luna. With teary eyes Luna left Arka who was silent because she could not resist the words of Luna.

Luna was crying not out of sadness, this was the first time Luna spoke in such a high tone. Somehow if he spoke in a loud voice it would make his eyes teary when he did not want to cry.

As for Arka, the guy returned to Devano's room. The guy gave the porridge he bought to Devano.

"Lo why lemes? It hurts too." asked Alga who saw the change.

"Gue is not papa, Al." replied Arka leaning her body on the soft sofa.

"Don't believe, Al, behind the word 'no papa' it must be nothing" said Devano meddling in the conversation. While Reza was busy preparing the porridge for Devano.

"Sokay lo, Dev." Arka stood up and picked up the phone from someone. It took a few minutes for Arka to talk to her interlocutor. The man was immediately quiet after receiving the phone call.

"Where are you going?" ask Alga.

"Gue got business, Al." Arka put on her jacket and walked over to Devano and patted her on the shoulder. "Gue go home first, you get enough rest about the administration I've taken care of."

"Still, Ka.'' said Devano then smiled. Devano just feels bad with his friends, he does not want to trouble ALTARES.

Arka pamit then went missing behind that door. Devano felt something strange about Arka's behavior, Devano knew very well what Arka was feeling.

"Eat," said Reza giving one bowl of unappealing chicken porridge. Devano tasted a spoon and gave the bowl back to Reza.

"Not good, Za, I don't want to." Devano refused. I don't know why the porridge was so bland. Maybe because the porridge is not in love with anything, no sauce no soy sauce, no crackers. Really not interesting.

"Eat alone or am I bribe?" reza's word presses down on every word.

"Reza, you gay?" alga said shuddering in horror at imagining that Reza really likes a fellow banana.

Alga's speech invited a pillow that floated to his face because of Devano's actions.
