"Kai"
"Kai"
The frail voice of old Faidah was heard spreading in the tea plantation. He walked slowly through the garden looking for his grandson.
"Kai!" Call the Faith again.
A girl who was busy reading a novel in the cottage in the middle of the garden, seemed silent to clarify her hearing.
"Kai!" The voice was heard again, and the girl knew very well whose voice it was.
The girl, Arkaila Wilson, came out of the cabin. Staring at her grandmother with breath stupefiedly walked over to her.
"Grandmother" surprised Kai. She immediately helped her grandmother walk and sat her grandmother on the edge of the cottage.
"Grandmother why come here, why not just call Kai. Let Kai go home" Kai grumbled.
Faidah did not answer, he was busy regulating his breathing. After his breathing began to settle, Faidah began to speak.
"Are you carrying a cell phone? Haico said your phone was in the room"
Kai was surprised, he immediately checked the sling bag he always carried with him where he went.
"Sorry Grandma, I didn't have a cell phone with me" said Kai.
Faidah only pursed his lips, replying to the words of his grandson.
Kai sat down next to his grandmother, without much expression Kai just stared at the sky.
"Kai" call Faidah.
From the tone of her grandmother's voice, Kai could already guess what her grandmother would talk about.
"It's bad, Kai again does not want to discuss this" sidelines Kai stared flatly at the grandmother.
"But Kai, it's been 8 years. Don't you want to hang out with your mom and dad?"
Kai turned his face away, he was sick of discussing this. Not that she does not want to live with her father, mother and sister. However, to return to the city was very hard for Kai.
"Son, don't you feel sorry for your mother, for your father. They always hold back the longing for you"
"It's been quite 8 years that you escaped. You should go back and stay with them" said Faidah gave understanding.
Kai looked at his grandmother, his eyes difficult to understand.
"Are you tired of being with me? Don't you want to live with me here?"
Faidah shook his head quickly, that was not what he meant.
"If grandma wants Kai to go, Kai will go" Kai said. She tidied up her book on the floor of the cottage, then stuffed it into a bag.
Faidah shook his head strongly, he pulled Kai's hand and hugged her.
"No son, grandma didn't mean it that way. Grandma only wants the best for you" Faidah explained.
"But Kai is very good here Grandma, Kai doesn't go anywhere else. Living with Haico's grandmother, aunt, and brother" he said trying to convince his grandmother.
"But Kai, granny pity your mother. She always cries when she calls grandma, she misses you" Faidah said.
Kai unraveled his grandmother's embrace, slowly removing his grandmother's hand from her body.
"If mom and dad miss. They can visit Kai here" said Kai coldly.
"But-" Faida's speech stopped.
"Kai don't want to talk about this anymore Grandma, Kai please let Kai stay here, don't talk about this anymore" please Kai. After that, she turned away leaving her grandmother who was staring at her departure wistfully.
"Grandmother just wants you to come back cheerful Kai, back like the granddaughter of the old grandmother" she said.
Arkaila is a 2nd grade high school student. Have a beautiful face and the ideal tall body of men.
His attitude is jutek, indifferent and cold. Makes him far from the word courtship. Since then, until now. Kai was still at home by himself, even he had no friends.
His daily activities are just school, reading books and pensive. There has been no passion in his life since 8 years ago.
That's why her family is so sad. They do not know what the cause is, Kai suddenly asks to leave the house and does not want to come back again.
From then on, the joy seemed to be lost in Kai's life.
...----------------...
"Bun, dad, it's been 8 years. But, Kai still chose to live with grandma" said Ferdian. Big brother Kai.
"Yes Bun, dad. We can't let this keep happening" Viona continued.
Fahmi nodded slowly, what the two children said was true.
It's been 8 years they let their youngest daughter stay away from them. Although Kai lives with Fahmi's mother, and with Fahmi's younger sister. Still, they were very worried about him.
"True mas, we have to persuade Kai back" added Tari.
"But Bun, we'll know for ourselves. Kai is so stubborn." said Fahmi. He had run out of sense thinking about how to get his daughter back home.
Already often they persuade Kai, they have done various ways. However, Kai still did not want to go home.
"Actually what the hell is there, why Kai so hated this house" muttered Viona astonished. They had no idea what was the reason why Kai chose to leave. To this day, all of this remains a mystery.
"It's not this house, brother, but with this town, and I don't think it's this town either. There's something wrong that makes Kai not want to be high here" Ferdian said.
"Gue also thinks so" continued Viona again.
"So how dong, mama kangen very much the same Kaila" lirih Tari almost cried.
Viona immediately hugged her mother, she was also sad when she saw her mother crying like this.
"Have Bun, don't cry. We can definitely take Kai home and settle down here again" Viona promised her mother.
"We have to take her home, whatever happens. 8 years is enough to follow her ego." Ferdian murmured seriously.
"Right, I've been thinking about a plan to bring Kai home" Fahmi said.
"Promise, I have to promise to bring Kai home" Viona demanded.
"Yes father, mother also miss our home is filled again by the laughter of our children" replied Dance.
Fahmi nodded, he promised in his heart that he would bring his daughter back home.
It was a heartwarming afternoon for the Wilson family. Where they all miss Kaila.
While the person they were longing for. was walking quickly cleaving the path of the estate leading to his grandmother's house.
His footsteps looked very fast and sure. Without her noticing, her tears flowed down her chubby cheeks.
