Assalamualaikum Ukhti

Assalamualaikum Ukhti
Chapter 50

A bright morning, as bright as a newlywed's heart that is still at home in his blanket.

The little birds chirped cheerfully to welcome the sun who was not ashamed to appear.

Even the light of the Sun has entered through the cracks of the window.

After the dawn prayer, two people who were in a drunken romance returned to sleep.

“Assalamualaikum Ukhti ..” greeting Fahry saw his wife was still asleep with the face still attached to her head.

“Hm ... Waalaikumsalam Akhi,” sahut Icha with a raucous voice typical of people waking up.

They both smile.

“Mas, shame!” said Icha covering her face with a blanket, because Fahry looked at her.

“Then why? Open the blanket,” said Fahry pulled the blanket that covered his wife's face.

Icha opened her blanket, with a smile on her lips that did not fade.

“Come wake. I also had to go back to see the people who were in the refugee camp. Before my leave expires, I'll volunteer.”

“Iya, Mas. Can I come to the sharing tent?” ask Icha.

“Bby,” sahut Fahry.

“Really?” tanya Icha was enthusiastic because she was so happy to hear Fahry allow it.

Fahry nodded.

“Alright, now I make breakfast first for us.”

“Iya,” say soft Fahry.

Icha got out of her bed, before she let go of her face and replaced it with a hijab.

Fahry looked at his wife, from the bed.

“Mas, I went to the kitchen first yes,” part Icha.

Fahry nodded.

Icha steps out of the room leaving her husband, while Fahry picks up her laptop and writes filling in his empty activities while waiting for his wife to finish making breakfast for them both.

In between writing it, Fahry smiled in memory of last night's incident.

Activities he never forgot.

However, Fahry heard a very loud knocking sound from outside the house.

Fahry frowned in wonder, thinking who came by knocking on the door so loudly like that.

Fahry moved, he peeked out of the window of his room.

The deg!

Her father-in-law, who came alone, stood up while smoking a cigarette.

Fahry stepped out of his room, along with Icha who was about to open the door of the house.

“Mas, Papa came here.”

Before opening the door, Icha looked at her husband first.

“Open the door,” say soft Fahry.

Icha nodded.

“Assalamualaikum Pa,” greet Icha I open the door of his house.

“Hm ..” Deham sir Heri breezed into the house without waiting for approval from Icha.

“Oh so, this is your husband Icha?”

Icha nodded.

Fahry reached out his hand to kiss the back of his in-laws hand.

“Don't touch me, I don't Sudi!” snapped sir Heri.

“Icha, Papa wants to talk to you.” Pulling his daughter's hand.

Icha looked at her husband who nodded.

Mr. Heri pulled his hand towards the kitchen.

“What's Pa?” tanya Icha looks scared.

“Why do you want to marry Fahry? Did you forget your promise back then?!”

Icha just lowered her head, not daring to look at her Papa.

“You heard Papa talk or not?!” snapped Mr. Heri at his daughter.

“I-iya, Pa.”

“Now you have one choice, you have to divorce Fahry!”

Icha shook her head quickly.

“Means, you should see your brother suffer!” threaten heri sir.

“Papa kok tega?! Brother is also the son of Papa,” sahut Icha began to dare to speak.

“You are the heart! You lied and didn't keep your promise!” exclaim sir Heri.

“Which promises have Icha not fulfilled? Icha wants to marry Papa's partner, but he is married. Papa kok can't let Icha become a snatch of people's husbands!”

“Yes, why become a second wife. What harm? Can a man have more than one wife?! You don't understand!” snapped sir Heri.

“Just, Papa doesn't want to know. You should get divorced with Fahry, if you want your brother safe!” Threaten Mr. Heri again.

“Papa will find you a man who is more handsome than your husband and richer. What do you expect from a husband who is just a bookseller! Cih ... I don't want to have a poor daughter-in-law like her.”

“So, what kind of daughter-in-law does Papa want?” ask someone who has just come to them.

It was Dika who was staring at them sharply, while folding her hands.

Indeed Dika intends to visit his sister this morning, because he heard they have moved house.

However, he finds his Papa's car parked in the yard of Icha's house.

“Tell me, what kind of daughter-in-law does Papa want?” ask Dika again.

“Abang,” Ogre Icha.

“Cih ... You don't need to interfere!” exclaim sir Heri.

“Of course I interfered! Papa threatened my sister, and asked her to divorce her husband.”

“I just saved him from that poor man, I want Icha to live a happy life.”

“Oh yes? By threatening him?!” Dika does not want to lose.

“Heh! She's my daughter I'm entitled to her.”

“Princess? Why do you think Papa is a princess now? Where's Papa been all this time?”

“Shut up! You it know what ...!”

“I know it very well Pa. Papa's business is bankrupt, isn't it? And now Papa threatens Icha to divorce her husband and remarry him to save Papa's business. Yes, right?”

“Ck .. how come there are parents like Papa who give up his daughter for business,” taunted Dika.

“Don't be rude of you huh! I'm still your father, how presumptuous of you to speak! I love my daughter so much, so that her life is more worthy and guaranteed!”

“Pa, Icha is happy. Even very happy, let alone have a husband like Fahry.”

Icha and Fahry just stood quietly in place.

“Oh yes. Of course her husband is happy, by sitting still at home especially with your given house!”

The deg!

Fahry's feelings are shattered, after hearing the words of his father Icha. The fear that really happened.

“This is not my gift. This is my brother's money he saved me for years and I bought him his own savings house!” dika does not want to lose.

“Pa, enough Papa to harass my sister's household. I won't stay silent anymore, if Papa always bothers Icha!” added Dika again who started the emotion.

“Iya alright. But someday you will all be sorry!” snapped sir Heri stepped towards the exit.

Before that, he looked at Fahry for a moment then threw away a rough face.

Fahry only sighed heavily at the passing of his father-in-law.

Icha silently pecked, even involuntarily shedding tears.

“Icha, don't listen to Papa. Icha already knows Papa's nature, doesn't it!” said Dika wiped his sister's tears and hugged her.

Not with Fahry, he went into the room sitting on the edge of the mattress.

Repeatedly saying istigfar in the heart, trying to understand the words of his father-in-law.

“Mas,” call Icha when entering into room.

“Iya,” his mouth without turning to his wife.

Fahry opened the closet to look for his clothes, because he wanted to change clothes.

“Mas, angry?” icha asked carefully, seeing her husband who did not turn.

She understands her husband's current situation.

Fahry was silent, busy looking for his clothes.

Grep's!

Icha hugged her husband from behind, only last night they told him very friendly stories. For some reason at this time Icha felt her husband back foreign and act cold.

“Law me Mas. But don't go,” Icha as she sobbed in tears hugging her husband from behind.
