Assumption
First Day of Work

The door of the room was opened, Disa was greeted by a woman who seemed older than her, the woman was the same, bowing her head a sign she also respected Bu Sumarni.

"Yes Ma'am .. let's go in." The girl stood docked to the door allowing Ms. Sumarni and Disa to enter.

"Can ... This is Yanti. You'll stay in one room for a while. Take a break, have a chat tomorrow, it's late at night, okay?" bu Sumarni's orders were answered by Disa and Yanti at the same time.

Disa also entered, the room is not too broad, if seen from the shape of the house of his master, maybe because of the maid room, the inner Disa.

Disa then introduced herself by greeting the woman in front of her. "I'm Disable."

"I'm Yanti, don't call me mbak, like we're the same age," Yanti said.

"How much is Dis?" ask Yanti later.

"23 Ma'am, uh Yan."

"We're just different after all, I'm 24 Dec, just call Yanti, yeah?" her door.

"Yes Ma'am, uh Yan." They were laughing due to the stiffness of Disa.

Suddenly the door was knocked and someone immediately spoke, "Mom told you, right. Take a break, just talk tomorrow!" The voice of Bu Sumarni.

Disa and Yanti then apologized at the same time, both of them whispered so that their voices could not be heard until they came out.

The next morning, all awake, Disa is introduced by Yanti with two other servants.

Mita is the youngest of them, she is only 20 years old, and there is Fatmah who is older than all of them, she is 30 years old and she is a widow with two children.

When Disa introduced herself, only Fatmah seemed to accept her favor, whereas Mita, she was acting very haughty towards him.

Fatmah who worked here the longest among them, she has been here for 2 years, after that Mita, since graduating from school Mita directly migrated to the city to become a maid in this house. While Yanti, she has only been working at Kanjeng Ibu's house for 3 months.

According to Yanti, Mita was sleeping in the room alone, but when she heard that someone would come and stay with them, Mita decided to sleep with Fatmah, Mita refuses to sleep with new people.

It appears Fatmah is helping Ms. Sumarni prepare breakfast for their employer.

The kitchen consists of 2 spaces, where the main kitchen is dedicated to storing food for the employer, with a large size and complete furniture, helpers should not take food from there, or even eat food using furniture from the main kitchen.

While the second kitchen is a kitchen for cooking, and storing food for helpers or other housekeepers.

Indeed, in the main kitchen there is a stove, but not in use for cooking, the stove is used only to cook water or if their employer wants to cook their own food.

Cuisine for employers in the second kitchen, after serving food to the employers, then one of the maids cook the dishes for themselves.

Although differentiated, it does not mean their employers do not give their workers inappropriate food, they are also provided with healthy and nutritious food, only in different storage areas only.

They are also provided with meat and fruits, even snacks.

Here they will take turns cooking, if the cuisine for the special employer is cooked by Bu Sum.

In this house, their master was five people, consisting of Pak Hanubi the head of the family, Kanjeng Ibu, Tuan Irwan and his wife Lady Mariska, and their son Ndoro Putra who was 4th.

There is one more child Kanjeng Ibu who is a woman named Miss Wulan she is studying in neighboring countries, and will soon graduate, she is the same age as Disa.

Being able to know Mrs Mariska, even so, here she was just a maid, so she still had to respect him.

Mariska was married when she was 20, she is now 25 years old, she is the older sister of Disa class while in High School.

They were all having breakfast after cleaning the house, asking each other questions, only Mita who still looked cynical with Disa, for what reason.

Ms. Sumarni was the butler who ate with the masters, because she served the masters at the dinner table, so she ate there and only she was allowed.

After that Ms. Sumarni approached them "Let's get the dining table done, and you're Disa come with me, I want to meet you" he said towards Disa.

They did what Bu Sumarni told them to do, and Disa walked back to follow Bu Sum, facing kanjeng mother, her main employer.

It was like being invited to a reading room, there was a set of sofas and many books on display along the shelves attached to the wall.

There is one large painting that makes Disa stunned, In the painting there is a woman with a bun and traditional Javanese clothes, sitting, behind the painting of the woman there is a large glass, and there is a large glass, Disa didn't understand the meaning, but the painting gave her goosebumps.

His face looked familiar, but Disa could not look at him any longer because Bu Sumarni had already elbowed herself, Disa was shocked and embarrassed, she did not hear Bu Sumarni's call, immediately she lowered her gaze. I hope it doesn't matter on my first day at work.

Ms. Sumarni was sitting on a one-seat chair, next to Kanjeng Ibu who was sitting on a long sofa, while Disa she was sitting together below.

"Why the painting? Is it so beautiful? Until you don't hear Sumarni's call" said Kanjeng Ibu.

His voice was so smooth, and authoritative, making Disa feel small.

"What's your name, Nduk?" kanjeng mother said.

"I'm There, Mom."

"Actually you'll be my place to help at the grocery store in town, but I'm short on power in this house. So, for a while you worked here, huh? Caring for and caring for my daughter-in-law," said Kanjeng Ibu.

Is shocked too. "Mantu's son? Is Mariska sick? Worth he was invisible, what pain, huh?'' muttered Disa.

"Good Kanjeng Ibu," replied Disa.

Disa has been told, the call of each employer, and most importantly Disa should not interrupt or ask about anything that the employer asked, he can only answer GOOD.

Usually it is Bu Sumarni who explained, or even if you want to ask can only be to Bu Sum, so that he conveyed to kanjeng mother.

Disa went out with Ms. Sumarni, they headed for the main kitchen. There Disa saw Bu Sumarni serving the porridge in a bowl and put it on a tray with water and a medicine box.

"Let's take it, you'll take me to Mrs Mariska's room, remember .. I know if Mrs Mariska is your friend in the village, but here she is your master, she said, do not let you carelessly serve him, understand!" the Warning of Sumarni.

Is it any wonder if Ms Sumarni knows all about herself, or does she know her aunt? I don't know, besides Disa knows who she is and Mrs Mariska thinks she is, there's no way she'll behave as she pleases.

Disa again followed Bu Sumarni, when she arrived at the door of Madam Mariska's room, Ms. Sumarni knocked on her.

The doors of the main room have 2 door leaves, with magnificent carvings, and on the top of the frame there must be carving puppet, according to Disa very creepy.

I don't know if this house is very gripping according to Disa.
