“Chan,” called the woman gently to Chan.Chan turned to his mother and immediately approached the middle-aged woman while holding Adhara's hand so tightly.

“Mama” said Chan who is now in front of his mother. The woman's gaze continued on Adhara until Chan's mother's gaze turned to Adhara and Chan's interlocking hands.

The smile of the woman floating displayed a beautiful woman who was now smiling kindly. Mama Chan extended her hand to Adhara.

“Mira, Mama Chan,” said Mira introduced herself. Adhara returned Mira's hand and smiled at the woman.

“Adhara,” said Adhara co-introduced himself.

“You're coming?” ask a voice that just came down the stairs. Chan turned his body around as well as Adhara who now had his gaze shifted to the middle-aged man.

“Do I have to go home?” asked Chan with his flat face. Leo's cynical smile looks so scary on the man's face.

Mira who saw the quarrel between father and son gave a rough sigh. Since the match between Chan and Titania, Leo's relationship with Chan is not good and Mira has been so tired of seeing the quarrel.

“Chan come in. Grandpa wants to talk to you, Mama will keep Adhara here,” Mira said with a smile that tried to calm her only son.

Chan looked towards Adhara for a while, seeing the girl nodding made Chan sigh roughly. In this house, only his mother could trust him.

“Gue go first, if there's anything scream,” Chan said as he stroked the top of Adhara's head. Adhara replied with a nod and Chan immediately left with his Papa to his grandfather's room.

“Adhara come sit down, son,” said Mira invited Adhara to sit down. Adhara replied with a nod and then immediately sat down beside Mira.

Mira sighed then looked at Adhara deeply, grasping Adhara's hand so gently. Adhara was silent letting Mira speak first.

“Chan stay with you?” mira asked while looking at Adhara with a question mark. Adhara was silent confused as to what to answer because he and Chan are not husband and wife would be a disgrace to say if they indeed live together.

“Tante knows if you guys will definitely not do anything stupid, but you know not to stay one roof with someone who has no blood relationship or halal partner is wrong?” ask Mira. Without Adhara answering, he knew that his son and the girl in front of him were living together.

Adhara just nodded because she did not know what to answer.

“Chan is like not having anyone, Adhara just gave him a place to go home,” Adhara said finally opening his voice. Mira nods she understands if her daughter is very difficult and to trust someone and her relationship with her family makes her reluctant to make new relationships. But with the girl in front of him Chan like finding a home to go home.

“Tante can not blame you or Chan, especially with the current state of our family,” Mira said with a smile. She was so tired of seeing the quarrel between her husband and child plus the pressure from her in-laws made her unable to dwell to help her child.

“Chan's relationship with his Papa is getting worse, his papa's temperament is so bad. Added to the pressure from Chan's grandfather to make this relationship more fragile,” said Mira trying to withstand her sadness because she did not want to cry in front of the girl in front of him.

Seeing the sad face of Chan's mother, made Adhara could not bear to stroke Mira's hand that was in his grasp.

“They began to fight often because of the matchmaking. Aunty never blamed Chan if she rejected him but Papa Chan she was different. Papa Chan is just like Chan's grandfather who is more concerned with his business than his family,” Clearly Mira with her tears that began to spill felt a pain that so far no one knew how she could endure it and strive to be strong.

“Do not do anything stupid, aunty trusts Chan with you. Take good care of her,” Mira said as she stroked Adhara's hand making the girl nod.

“You approved them to fight me?” ask a voice that walks closer to them with a devilish smile.

“What's wrong with supporting my son to be happy,” said Mira with a smile that is no less cynical.

Adhara fell silent at Chan's parents' quarrel. He felt that there was no harmony in the relationship. Just sticking with each other's goals isn't a common goal.

“What wealth can buy happiness and love?” asked Mira again looked at Leo so sharply even though he still saw the woman's sad face.

“I've always bestowed you with treasure, don't you love me? Are you unhappy? Even though you look so happy when spending my money and going for a walk,” said Leo with anger because he did not accept with Mira who continued to fight his words.

“You think I do because I like it? You think I did that because I was happy? No Mas, I did it because I was looking for happiness and love that I didn't get from you?” mira snapped with her tears coming down. Adhara holds Mira's shoulder trying to calm the woman down.

“You...” Just now Leo was about to slap Mira but Adhara held him back and looked at Leo completely,.

“See om, with a rude and ungodly attitude how can aunt Mira be happy?” ask Adhara who is now starting to open her voice.

“What do you know from me and my family?” leo asked with his reddened face restraining his anger from exploding.

“If Adhara doesn't know then I know, papa did never give us the love we needed, papa just gave us firmness and all that papa wanted, papa did,” said Chan who now walks towards them with his cynical smile.

“Papa thinks I can accept this matchmaking like papa nerima mama, but all I see is mama trying to accept and survive, while papa, papa only thinks about business and money, but,” said Chan with anger his hands clenched tightly trying to hold the fist so as not to serve his Papa.

“You don't know anything so stop saying nonsense,” said Leo who then immediately pulled Mira away from there rudely. Mira just followed while crying.

Chan sighed while looking at his mother and father who had gone away. Even though his father made his mother cry, he believed that his father would not hurt his mother. Maybe just bluffing by raising his hand to slap his mama but all that wouldn't be right.

“We go home,” take Chan and then pull Adhara away from the big house.

“Chan but aunt Mira?” tanya Adhara is worried about being scared if Leo hurts Mira.

“She will be fine,” said Chan who immediately got into his car,

Seeing the face of Chan who held back anger finally Adhara just silence and according to do not want to make Chan's feelings more chaotic.

Hopefully, dreams that have not materialized in 2021 can be realized in 2022.
