Aunty's Matchmaker

Aunty's Matchmaker
Promises

I ran as hard as I could, several times bumping into people who accidentally caught up with me.

Tears are no longer held back, Mr. Malik I don't even care about his whereabouts. My feet ran to where I didn't want them.

"No, Mama ... Papa!" I shouted into the room where the door was open. White cloth covered the faces of my parents.

"Sorry, your family we didn't have time to handle. They died in the hospital corridor" explained the man with the glasses and white coat.

I stared hard at him, "Son! My mom's still alive!" I said and opened the cloth from Mama's face.

Pale faces with their cleansed scars, "Mama .. forgive Abibah, Ma!" my isak and collapsed.

"Gifts!" call Mr. Malik and embrace my body immediately.

"Sir, Mama Pak," I cried with a sobbing voice staring at Mr. Malik.

"I'm sorry, the ambulance will be ready soon."

"Good, doctor. Thank you!"

"No! Mr ... Mama Sir, Papa ... Papa died sir."

As the earth collapsed knowing they were no longer in this world, I continued to cry and tears were not coming out again on the way to my parents' house.

Silence is nothing from my lips, my soul as if it were with them. The house has a neighbor who helps prepare everything.

Not knowing who they heard this sad news from, I was in Mr. Malik's bopong into the house.

The plan, the corpse will be buried immediately today also because it remembers the blood that will continue to flow.

Many people hugged and bowed to me, but not a single response.

I just stared blankly at the front, the coffin covered with a green cloth on it.

"Mom-mom, I'm picking up my wife, yeah. I want to take my in-laws to the funeral first" Mr. Malik said, giving the trust to the neighbors who came to serve.

"Yes, Malik. We will take care of Abibah, just calm down" said the mothers who were beside me. Keranda was finally taken away, I came back crying letting go of them to their final rest.

After Mr. Malik returned from the funeral with the other Fathers, the mothers who had invited me to speak finally chose to go home.

"Abibah .. eat, yes," asked Mr. Malik and I gave him the trinket.

"It's 4pm, you know. You have not prayed, pray first, yuk!" take Mr. Malik back to try to persuade me.

"Would the prayer make Papa and Mama come back?" I asked in a cold tone staring at him.

"Astaghfirullah, you cannot be like Abibah. Will not every living person die? Right now we're on the ground not necessarily the same tomorrow, don't think that you're alone. There I am here! I'm ... your husband!" press Mr. Malik to convince me that I am not alone in this world.

The crying broke again, I don't know how many times and how many times my eyes. It seems, all empty is meaningless anymore.

I got up leaving Mr. Malik and went into the room Mama and Papa first, took ablution and immediately prayed.

Brothers from the side of Mama and Papa are also present here, only they must not be as hard as I who have the status as his son.

Raising my hands again before God, I do not understand after this still able to become the Abibah that used to be or not.

"God!" a familiar voice in my ear. Aulia, yes, that woman is beside me now with a cry that has already drenched her cheek.

"The strong Lu, yes," he said, releasing a hug and rubbing his face. I nodded towards him.

"Sorry I came late, just found out from the campus group about this." I just kept quiet, not answering at all his rants.

In fact, if I could be honest. I don't understand now what he's saying, as if my mind was empty and lost all memory.

"Well, how is Mr Malik here?" aulia asked in shock looking at Mr. Malik who was carrying a plate in his hand.

"Mm .. yes, because the one who died was my in-law," explained Mr. Malik and made me glance at him for a moment.

Aulia was shocked to close her mouth, between wanting to ask directly or not. It is impossible with the situation now that he asked that.

I shook my head, "Son, the one who died is not Mr. Malik's in-law. No! Not my parents, not Mama and Papa!" my screams grabbed the hair covered in a veil like nothing.

Aulia walked away from me in shock and only this time saw me like this, "You get out first!" mr. Malik's orders and immediately embraced Aulia.

He came out and closed the door, my body was recessed by Mr. Malik. A warm and calm feeling returned.

"Calm down, honey. I am here, I am there for you and will never leave you, Abibah," said Mr. Malik who made me instantly silent from rebelling.

I looked back at her face and at the same time she also looked at me, "Calm down, there I am. You will not be alone" said Mr. Malik kissed my forehead.

When his lips came to my forehead, by reflex these eyes closed, "Father of promise?" I stared at him.

"Promise, I will always be by your side and will never leave you."

I hugged her back, feeling at least there was still a reason for me to stay in this world.

There are still those who love me and will stay, I believe and keep those promises from Mr. Malik's mouth.

"Buset, since when did Abibah marry Mr Malik and then?" aulia asked talking to herself in the room.

"Kok, he didn't tell me anyway? Is ... Is her marriage intentionally kept secret? Or maybe, a week off because she's getting married again, huh?" Aulia was silent as if looking for answers to the questions that were in her mind and heart.

"Sister Abil," muttered Aulia looking at Abil who had just entered Abibah's house and looked as if looking for someone.

"Definitely nyari Abibah!" Aulia immediately approached Abil so as not to look like a lost person.

"Sister Abil!" sapa Aulia smiled and made Abil turn to look at her.

"Eh, Julia. Where's brother?"

"He's in your room, brother. Want to pray earlier if not wrong," my gaze and scratch the nape confused.

"Why you?" abil asked, his brows looking at Aulia.

"Father, Brother. Just confused."

"Why?"

"Kok Kak can tell if in Abibah's house there is an accident?" tanya Aulia stared at Abil's all-black appearance.

"Said the shophouse next to the cafe."

Aulia only boasted 'oh' ria while nodding.

"It's still a while, isn't it, huh, pray?"

"Long as it seems, brother, he also needs rest. He was like a hit, mending now Brother is coming home. Uh, or I'm a whimper, yes," Aulia chirped with a shameless snort.

"Mmm .. right as well, she definitely still needs some alone time. Yaudah, if so. Come, let me take you with me," Abil took a walk first leaving Aulia.

"Huh? Really want? Funny!" exclaimed Aulia clenched her hands and immediately ran after Abil.
