Ayu the Conqueror

     As usual early in the morning Leo came to Ayu's house. He does the usual routine that he has been running for two weeks. While carrying Ayu and August's favorite porridge, he pressed the bell of the Jaya family house near the iron fence.

"The gate tumben is still locked," muttered Leo as he pressed the bell a second time.

     Ayu who saw her lover's car was already in front of the iron gate in front, was about to open for her. However, she is stopped by Mei.

"Where are you going, Ayu?" mei asked as soon as Ayu ran towards the front door.

"A–There ..., Brother Leo in front of the fence, Ma." Ayu answered her mother's question with fear of being scolded.

"There was a Papa approaching him. You help me make breakfast!" titah May.

     With a gontai step Ayu also followed Mei to the kitchen. He was upset that he could not meet his girlfriend.

     August came to Leo who was standing at the gate of his house. Leo's friendly smile as usual in the show if met with his future in-laws.

"Good morning, Om!" greet Leo with her baritone voice which Ayu says is sexy.

"Morning. Leo, from today on you don't have to come here anymore. Ayu's mother has also recovered and has been able to do all the housework." August is disappointed in Leo who doesn't tell him who he really is. He felt that his son's lover was dishonest, hiding something from him a lot.

"But, Om .... Ayu and I have two weeks left" Leo said.

"Om, know. Ayu is also willing to end her agreement with you. So, go!" August turned his body and left Leo still standing in front of his gate.

     Leo felt something strange about August's attitude, decided to contact Ayu via mobile phone. However, the five times he made the call was not raised by Ayu. This made him anxious.

"What Ayu, all right? Why don't you pick up the phone?" Leo wondered while looking at Ayu's room.

     Leo changed the call to someone else, "Hello, what—"

[Come to the complex park. We need to talk about something very important! It's about Ayu.]

     Her phone call was immediately cut off. "Basic doesn't know manners! The person talking directly cut off. No more talking directly in the closed. Watch out I'll reply later!" swear Leo while looking at his cellphone which is still listed the contact name of the person he just contacted.

     Leo steered the car to the deal. When we got there there was no one. Either because it's still early in the morning or because it's not a holiday. Usually when he passes there or runs in the afternoon with Ayu there are always people. The air was cool, the sunlight started to feel warm, and the atmosphere was very calm. Makes Leo feel comfortable.

"I'm sorry I'm late because I have to take care of it first." 

     A familiar voice for Leo, disperse the thoughts in his brain. The face of Leo's immediate annoyance is created upon seeing the bully.

"Say April, what's wrong?" ask Leo straight to the point.

"Every night Ayu and I were engaged—," replied Aprilio.

     Without asking first or asking questions. Leo directly pointed his fist at Aprilio's face as soon as he heard the word 'engagement' without hearing its continuation. 

     Leo's sudden and very powerful punch, as if crushing Aprilio's jaw. Even his body fell to the ground.

"Listen until it's done!" Aprilio dislikes people who put emotions first.

"What should I listen to? You already know that Ayu is my lover. And now ..., you said you were engaged last night!" Leo spoke with anger.

"We have to do it!" Aprilio ignited his emotions so follow angry.

"It turns out we have been betrothed since the baby" said Aprilio.

     Leo was surprised to hear this. Fellow male, Leo can see that Aprilio also has feelings of love for Ayu. So, it was possible that he was happy with their matchmaking so as not to reject it.

"Don't think that last night we both didn't turn it down! Ayu and I refused this match." Aprilio patted Leo on the shoulder, "Let's love you so much. She kept crying." Last night."

"really?" leo asked with restraining feelings of anger, resentment, and heartache.

"Yes. Even though I refused the match. Ayu will be paired with other men. That's definitely not you." Aprilio and Leo looked at each other.

"Why? Is it because Aunt May is not the same as me? What are my flaws or faults that he doesn't like me?" leo asked with a trembling voice.

"Esteban Family. I don't know what's behind Jaya's family not being in a relationship with Esteban's family? Clearly, they said they would never approve of your relationship" Aprilio replied clearly.

"What's wrong with Esteban's family?" leo asked with a feeling of being confused.

"I don't know. Try to find out! Why did Ayu's family hate your family so much?" Aprilio handed something to Leo.

     Leo saw a small folded paper on his right palm. Then he looked at Aprilio who had turned his back and left the complex garden.

"That's from Ayu, read it!" Aprilio turned his head back and continued his steps.

To Leo's brother, beloved.

     Brother Leo, I'm sorry. Maybe you've heard everything from April. What happened to us last night.

     I hope Big Brother believes the same feeling I love you so much. April and I will figure out a way that we can break this engagement rope and come back to you.

     What has happened to my family in the past? Why does Papa now even hate Big Brother just because Brother Leo is part of the Esteban family?

     Last night I was in my brain if I wanted to elope with my brother. However, I thought back, will we be able to live happily in fear of being hunted by our families later? 

    I want to live happily with my sister without being overshadowed by fear or misgivings for hiding from our family. I will struggle to find a way for both of my parents to give their blessing to our relationship. I also want Brother to fight together so that we can get the blessing of the family. 

     Was there a misunderstanding between our families? Or is there a serious problem that happened in our family in the past?

     My parents never showed hate to anyone. They always told me to forgive those who bullied me.

     Brother Leo, I love you so much. I will take care of this feeling forever. I hope you do the same with me.

     Leo read Ayu's letter, which was sent to Aprilio. He thinks that Ayu is forbidden to meet with him by her parents. However, in his brain he already had many plans in order to meet with Ayu. Not that they went to the same university. So, there will be no difficulty when meeting there later.

"Baby, I'll be faithfully waiting for you. I'll also find out what happened between our families. It's good for those who do things that don't know what they are! Why should Ayu and I suffer the consequences? I don't accept it!" Leo monologues while looking at the very bright morning sky and pampering the eyes with paintings of its beauty.
