Chapter 43; Explosion.

Before the explosion.

"We've been eating all the bombs in the gym locker room." A rebel soldier told. "But no one knows it's going to be flanked, Mel."

The air is cold tonight. The rain has completely stopped. Water drips slowly from the leaves of trees growing around the multipurpose field.

Melody who had recovered from her fight was faced with a new problem before her eyes. Because the plastic object was shaped like a brick - suspected as an explosive bomb - no way was found to defuse it. He felt dizzy because he was confused about what to do.

"Gua can only help you here, Mel." Said another. "Sorry cave."

"Sad." Melody snorted in annoyance. Then immediately ran towards the stage Pension. "Let's help the cave get on stage." He had come up with the idea of reducing casualties if the bomb had actually exploded.

We know that much art is created from sincerity expressing an emotion. Many of Melody's songs were created out of her sadness, and for the first time she was able to create a happy song while on Baskara's side.

So Melody shed her tears, when it had to be blasphemed by people who never knew her true self. His mask faded from the crying, then he wiped it and immediately went down to the remaining rebel forces.

"Mel, you gapapa?" Ask a worried member.

"Guard cave, to the gym locker room now!" Tell Melody without breaking the ridiculous celebration.

And the fistfight happened again, twelve rebel troops split the crowd again until Melody reached her destination.

When he arrived, he looked at the black backpack containing eight objects suspected to be the bomb.

He closed the backpack's zipper, hooked the rope to one of the shoulders. Then, step out.

Seeing that, some of the rebel forces kept their distance from Melody who was carrying dangerous objects.

"Where are you going, Mel?"

The whole rebel army was glued to see Melody's bravery. Despite being blasphemed by many, He still had the greatness to save them all.

"What the hell did you bring, Mel?" Alvin asked who was carrying Wijaya on his back.

They evacuate themselves by walking to safety, because the war is starting to get out of control. However, they are no longer surprised by the turmoil of unexpected things, because they have seen worse things before. It's just, feeling fixated and just trying to guess what happened with Melody.

"Where's melody?" Jiwo asked a rebel soldier.

The person asked turned his eyes back, because he was asked by the most mysterious student in the school. A strong person, and can make the organization not touch it at all.

"The question is, where is Melody?" Ask again.

Then another one answered. "He ran towards the gate. What are you up to, Melody?"

Hearing that, Jiwo immediately put on a step forward. But, it stopped again. "You know about the bomb?"

All who heard that nodded together like fools.

"Well, all of it is collected?"

They nodded again for the second time.

"Now the cave asks, where's the bomb?"

Then a rebel soldier responded. "Brought Melody, bang. In the dalem backpack item."

Jiwo carries his equipment in a backpack, such as cut pliers, hammers, scissors, and others. Before coming here, he first stopped by the warehouse room, thinking of a way to defuse the bomb.

Now, Jiwo ran furiously chasing Melody towards the front gate immediately. However, in the midst of his journey, he met the people in the Lab. The computer, namely Alvin, Lala, Nadir, also Wijaya who has not been aware.

"Jiwo?" Ask Alvin to make sure.

Jiwo interrupted asking back. "Look at Melody, didn't you?"

"He ran towards the gate carrying the item backpack, while acting strange." Alvin's reply summarized what he saw.

"Gua has to chase him now." Jiwo said then passed again leaving them.

"Why indeed?"

"Melody's got eight bombs in the back of her bag." Jiwo's voice was loud from a distance.

Hearing that, Lala was stunned for a moment. Then follow Jiwo spontaneously.

"Where are you going, La?" Alvin was worried.

Alvin was disappointed in Lala. However, he still worried about Lala's security in the midst of this war.

Melody's breathing began to pant, She almost reached the school garden. The backpack he carried was heavy enough to make him fall exhausted on the pan of the garden edge block.

"Mell!!" A scream sounded in his ears.

When she turned her head, Melody realized it was Jiwo. Their distance is quite far, because Jiwo is still in the lobby of building A, which is the nearest building from the direction of the school gate.

"That's enough, Mel! Get away from that bomb!" Jiwo warned. "Let the cave take care of."

There was a strange sound coming from his bag. Which then, made Melody lift up and bring it closer to her ear making sure.

Jiwo's steps came to a halt, they were quite far away. But as if Jiwo understands things that do not need to be explained, because it has been clearly illustrated by Melody's behavior.

Lala who had just caught up, stopped beside Jiwo. He looked around trying to figure out the situation before his eyes. He saw Melody's face now.

Hearing the strange sound from the bag, Melody knew that this thing would scowl everything it had. So Melody put on a bitter face, which she never showed to anyone including Lala.

Lala widened her eyes realizing the situation was not right, making her run closer following her intuition.

Jiwo grabbed Lala's hand forcefully, pulling her strong. However, Lala continued to thrash around wanting to get close to Melody who was transfixed.

When she saw Lala, Melody felt like she didn't want to see her best friend get hurt, let alone Baskara who was now struggling on top of D's building. Although it looks stupid, he also does not want to see the people around him hurt.

Melody has strengthened her heart to carry everything on her own now. He stood up again as he could, then tried to stay away from Lala and Jiwo while hugging the bomb that would soon explode.

Jiwo actually felt guilty by giving the dangerous task to Melody. But, Jiwo also understood Melody's intentions, by staying away like that. So he pulled Lala one jolt, then hugged Lala while dropping down in the opposite direction, trying to protect Lala by putting on a body.

In the end, Melody died to give life to the people she loved. His heart was as pure as snow in the middle of the wilderness, which was impossible to happen.
