The clock in Adam's circle shows at 20:21 AM local time, which means he has 21 minutes waiting. Feeling the air blowing increasingly uncomfortable night, finally Adam walked to the hospital lobby to wait for his wife there. Usually he prefers to wait for her outside while smoking, but because all day he has not touched a single rod until tonight, so the man entered the hospital lobby area with several elongated benches.
As promised, Adam arrived thirty minutes early. Dinda who usually comes home at five in the afternoon, this evening came home late because there were patients who died unnaturally brought to the hospital where she worked. Because the family asked for the body to be autopsied, inevitably, Dinda had to be involved in the process representing doctors who were attending a seminar in Makassar.
Although he was not a forensic expert, but still as a doctor who had handled the patient before dying, he was obliged to participate in the autopsy of the victim.
Several times, a pair of Adam netra found people in brown uniforms, as well as men in plain clothes complete with black leather jackets that go back and forth in front of him.
He could have guessed that the men had something to do with the victim the wife was handling in the autopsy room.
"Wait who?" asked a security man after almost an hour he did not move from his seat.
"Doctor Adinda Sofiana, sir?"
"Oh her husband's doctor Dinda?" guess what's on target.
Adam nodded completely with a smile.
"I'm sorry, I thought the mas needed help, so I came in"
Again, Adam smiled. Shortly thereafter the security left him in the lobby with three visitors who were busy with their phones.
Right clockwise pointing at the number nine and number two, the figure of Dinda approached Adam who this time was sitting alone in the lobby. Some of the people who had been there had already entered the patient's room, because they were probably on guard for relatives who were sick, I don't know.
Adam smiled, with his gaze still on the phone screen.
After sending a reply to a chat from his friend, he immediately put the thin object in the jacket pocket and looked and saw the wife who was currently landing her head on his shoulder while closing her eyes.
"Where are you arguing here or?" adam asked gently, not wanting to surprise him.
Adinda has understood, because for two months married, they often argue whether it's the problem of wet towels, dirty clothes, kitchen spices, including during the debate this morning about smoking.
"In the meantime, half of my life is still left in the mortuary" he replied, which made Adam smile wider, then rubbed his forehead with his left hand.
"You've worked hard today, helped patients, and given the best for them, you deserve credit"
"Hmm" Dinda opened her eyes, and their gaze met with the head still leaning on Adam's shoulder. "Unfortunately there are people who think I'm evil"
Adam's forehead frowned. "Why else, hmm?"
Instead of replying, Dinda vented her frustration by shaking a rough breath. "Let's go home" invite her as she pulls away from the head of the husband's shoulder.
"Is there someone who's upsetting you?"
He who had stood up made Adam raise his head.
"Talking about personal affairs in the hospital is not my style" Dinda concluded with a funny expression. "Come ah" then pulled Adam's hand to follow in his footsteps.
When they reached the car park, Adam opened the door for Dinda before filling his seat behind the wheel.
"What's wrong?" adam asked when they were about ten minutes away from the hospital.
"You've been told, don't hide anything from your husband" Adam said again as Dinda kept her mouth shut.
At first, the woman did not reply to the husband, but eventually she gave up.
"Where do I start?"
"If you are confused by the opening sentence, just tell the point what disturbs you"
"I'm just wondering, he likes double standard disposable"
"Double standard? who?"
"Mother wife"
"Prily?" suhut Adam glanced at Dinda at a glance, before then returning to focus with the steering wheel. "What's wrong with her?"
"If he makes a mistake, he thinks it's natural, but if I do it, as if it's something fatal, I'm evil in effect"
"He's coming to the hospital?"
"Hmm" Dinda nodded without seeing Adam.
"What's he doing?"
"What's that?"
"Letter of divorce from the court"
"Good dong, that means that I have no relationship with him anymore, and you are his only wife"
"But he just keeps blaming me, and the nickname of the actor seems to be forever attached to me"
"It's natural that he thinks so, it's justification from his side, different from the justification of mas and you, so it's better to just miss it, you don't need to think about it"
"But that's not what's bothering me"
"Then?" ask Adam not to understand.
"She's worried about me not getting pregnant"
"Gosh" he sis Adam couldn't believe. "What's the deal with him?"
"Come on, but he warned me that if I don't have children soon, I have to be ready with the actor who will take my mas away from me"
Hearing the words of the wife, Adam even chuckled amusedly.
"Why should be distracted by what he says, deck"
"Yes because I'm a liar"
"If you think so, implicitly, you doubt your husband"
"Doubt how? yeah no"
"If so do not think you will be tempted by other women"
"Even if we haven't had children for several months or even years?" Sambar Dinda fast.
"Yes" Adam stared straight at the street. "What time is Prilly at the hospital?"
"Early in the morning knew he was already in the waiting room"
"Did he know what happened to you?"
"I think you know"
"Focus on your work, and don't think about it, okay"
"I tried"
"Must be it"______
"Oh yes deck" said Adam after they both fell silent. "Actually mas peg asked from the past, but somehow always forget"
"Ask what?" Dinda's forehead shriveled to look at Adam on her right.
"About your cooperation with Birawa"
Hearing the husband's words, Dinda's heart suddenly fussed in there. He stuttered, trying to normalize his surprised expression.
"How can you meet Birawa and help her separate the mas from Prilly?"
"Emm..."
"We got to baby" Adam cut as the car turned towards the apartment entrance. "The peeper knows your reason, but says it later when he's home"
Taking a slow breath, At least Dinda has time to compose the right words so that the reason can be accepted by her husband.
