"Brains!!"
All those who were there followed Abram's line of sight. Then he was surprised when he saw Calya standing there. Even the three women were already glaring perfectly with his disbelief. Unlike Abram, when Calya walked over he immediately hugged his eldest daughter.
"Calya you're finally home too! Papa's very worried about you. Are you all right?" Abram let go of his embrace while making sure there were no injuries to Calya.
"Sorry to worry you. But Calya's fine!" Calya said as she glanced at the three women. He gave a mocking look without their knowledge.
Hearing this, Abram and the servants both breathed a sigh of relief. Their anxiety seemed to evaporate unceremoniously. Replaced with the sense of pleasure that Calya is fine.
But not with the three people, the plan that they thought had succeeded and would be celebrated soon had to be swallowed up. The hilarious hue they hid a few minutes ago they could not show. They can only temper anger and revile in the heart.
Goddamnit! Why is this poor girl so lucky to escape death, Rihanna.
How did this happen? Shouldn't this j*lang child have been taken and sold by the kidnapper. Why did he come back?, Rose wrath.
All this time no one has been able to escape the plan I made. But why could this child?, old madam was both furious and astonished.
"Then what happened to you, Calya? Your mom and sister said you suddenly disappeared in the parking lot. Did something happen to you?"
Deg.
The words from Abram immediately made the three stiffen. They just forgot something important. Not thinking of the possibility that Calya would survive. They are only fixated on results that are impossible to fail. And now, if Calya told him what happened, Abram would not remain silent.
"Actually..." Calya paused her words while looking at the old Madam and her nervous-looking stepmother. Faintly his lips curved into a grin.
"Actually I suddenly left because I was helping a little boy who was looking for his mother. She was crying and impatient to meet her mother. So I didn't get to tell my mom and sister. Once again I apologize to you" replied Calya lying. I don't know what he's planning. But he deliberately hid the truth.
Abram and the servants exuded relief when nothing happened. They did not feel suspicious of the reason Calya gave.
"Thank God nothing happened to you. Papa almost called the police if he didn't see you coming home" Abram said. Really relieved.
"We were all very panicked to hear that Miss Calya was missing. But at last we were very relieved to see you come home safe" Mr. Lan could not keep quiet, he shared his heart. And the servants seemed to approve his words.
However, the masterminds of the three people showed neither pleasure nor relief. Calya did not reveal the truth. But instead, various kinds of assumptions appear in each of them.
Especially the old madam, she thought hard to digest Calya's words. How could there not be a kidnapping on Calya. The person he paid for was already heading to the parking lot. Then why can Calya say she is helping a child. Didn't the kidnappers find Calya? But if they don't make it though, they'll be alerted. But this, there's not a single call from those people. Like his tracks disappeared for no reason.
"Grandmother, mother, and sister, why are you guys just quiet about me? Like I don't like to see me okay. Are you upset because you've been worrying or because of something else?"
Calya's voice calling made the three wake up from the daydream. And then realized that all the gazes were pointing at them. The nervousness attacks. Especially the words of Calya who was cornering them.
"Oh my grandson Calya, what the hell are you talking about. Of course your grandmother is very happy to see you are fine" said the old madam with a happy smile.
"Dear, Mama was happy too. When I found out you were suddenly gone, my mom was sad. It's all because mama's not so good at looking after you" Rose put on a face pretending to be sad and guilty.
"I-I'm also very grateful to see my sister back in a state of nothing. If anything really happens, then it's my fault that you let your sister wait in the parking lot" Rihanna immediately said with a small sob. In his heart he tried to suppress his nervousness.
"It turns out you're so worried about me. Daritadi kept silent I thought you guys couldn't speak anymore because of the shock of seeing me" Calya smiled jokingly. But it was actually a satire for them.
The three forced themselves to smile. Whether offended or not by the insinuation. But it could be seen as holding something back.
"All right! Because everything is back to normal. We better get ready for dinner. It's getting late. You must be hungry, right?" Abram said after the conversation.
"Pak Lan disband all.And prepare his dinner!"
"Alright sir" Mr. Lan glanced at the servants to immediately disperse. Some went to the kitchen to prepare dinner with him.
Abram went to his room. He said he wanted to clean up. When he just got home from work he already got word from his wife and youngest daughter. That's why he hasn't had time to rest.
Now that there were four people left, Calya looked at the old madam with a strange look.
"The man said he was old but looked young, wearing a fancy dress. And there's a green stone-eyed necklace around her neck. Hmm..why the characteristics mentioned are very similar to grandma yes" muttered Calya suddenly while scathing the chest with a style of thinking.
The old madam who called her name wrinkled in confusion. Not understanding Calya's babble. Same with Rose and Rihanna.
"What are you talking about?" Asked the old madam in a slightly taut tone. The annoyance has not been completely lost because of seeing again the existence of Calya in this house.
"That's the word the kidnapper confessed" Sahut Calya casually said.
"What do you mean?" The old madam pecked in place with widened eyes. The same thing happened to Rose and her daughter. Can't hide his surprise.
"I lied about the reason. The real thing is that there are people who intend to kidnap me" Calya explained as she stared at them one by one.
He continued saying, "You know why I survived?" There was no reaction from the three.
"Lucky I met a good man to save me from the kidnappers. When they were defeated. I asked them who told him to. Because it can't be an accident"
They're getting less and less warty. Calya took a step forward to get closer.
"At first they refused to open their mouths. But after I forced him, the man opened his mouth. Start mentioning traits that are very familiar to me. And when I asked the name, suddenly the kidnapper was unconscious"
The three of them quietly breathed a sigh of relief. But it comes back under attack as Calya continues her sentence.
"I'm disappointed. But the man who helped me was willing to help bring the kidnappers to the police station to deal with. Since I was young, he was kind enough to take care of it for me. And look! that guy gave me a business card to call her. If the kidnappers had confessed. And that very second I'm gonna tell Papa the truth"
Calya grinned at the look of panicked faces as well as fearing them. He took one step back to get closer to them. His gaze began to turn extremely cold. Then he whispered in a threatening tone.
"Beware! If my guess is correct if you're the culprit. Be prepared to be hated and cast out by Papa"
After that Calya left them in a deathly pale state. Their breathing already felt heavy as if their airways were blocked by something.
