The Extra Part I
It had been a year since the incident that had happened in the palace. From the death of the late Rieta in the aftermath of Emperor William, the coronation of Emperor Alarick, and their final battle against Annika.
Everything seemed fine until now. As usual in the morning Aliesa was in the kitchen to make breakfast when she was busy making dough for pancakes. Suddenly, a pair of arms hugged his waist.
" I told you not to do hard work, baby" said Lois, who stood behind Aliesa, holding her head around her neck, sipping her rose-like scent.
Aliesa who heard it just laughed softly while stroking Lois' hand.
" I'm fine even if I feel happy if I have a job instead of lying all day in bed" said Aliesa, leaning her head against Lois' chest.
Lois smiled as she tightened her arms and her hand stroked Aliesa's slightly protruding belly.
" But now that you're pregnant, baby, I don't think anything bad happened to you" Lois said with concern.
Indeed, after 6 months after the war Aliesa was reported pregnant now. Of course Lois who heard him was quite surprised and pleased even from that moment she ordered all the servants to look after him. The most Aliesa dislikes is that she is forbidden from doing anything other than laying her body on the bed.
" Remember I'm not a sick person and don't bother me Lois. I'm making pancakes for our breakfast. If you're still stubborn I guarantee you'll sleep outside." said Aliesa with emotion.

Aliesa smiled with satisfaction seeing that Lois was not bothering him anymore and immediately continued her unfinished cooking. Lois watches Aliesa from behind ensuring that the pregnant woman is doing well.
" As usual I don't touch my kitchen. I hope the Madam doesn't destroy her like last week" said the head chef, hoping to recall the incident a week ago in which her mistress threw items in the kitchen at their master out of annoyance.
" It doesn't happen again because the master has allowed the mistress to cook again even though she looks heavy" said one of the maids.
" It's true that even I'm lucky that the mistress gets a husband who loves her so much" she said with a smile.
" What are you all doing here?" ask someone who made the chefs and waiters surprised to turn their eyes away.
" Mister Chris why are you here, we're surprised to see your sudden arrival?" ask the head chef who everyone is nodding at.
" I want to tell something to the Grand Duke. Then excuse me." said Chris with a smile before entering the kitchen.
Chris shook his head to see the attitude of his parents and friends who had seen his wife who was cooking with a possessive gaze.
" Sometimes I feel sorry for the Madam for her possessive attitude...
