Chapter 15: Bad Feeling

The calm and cold atmosphere made him uncomfortable, he just followed the direction of the teenage man before him with doubt in his heart.

"Are you sure this is the way?" Rosean hesitantly asked.

"Shut up, I'm the one who leads until George wakes up," he rudely answered her question. The corner of Rosean's mouth twitched in a confident tone.

In the dark cave passageway, they walked quietly without any hurry. The walls of the cave grew wider as they walked. On the roof of the cave, many earth needles were sharp and dripped water from it. 

"Wait…" 

They stopped when Ryan, the man who always disgusted him, raised his hand. Rosean raised his eyebrows wondering what he was going to do. "What's wrong?" Rosean asked. 

"About here.there's a strange thing," murmured Ryan.

Those who heard it immediately sharpened their hearing and instincts quickly. Compared to the group of Princesses, actually in this group many swordsmen are quite reliable. It's just that they couldn't bring themselves out against Fear Eater. That was why they could only cast some basic level magic to help fight against a bunch of monsters like them.

However, now they immediately did not hold themselves back and confidently stood in front of their friends. Rosean looked around, where the cave passage was filled with suspicious transparent mucus.

A thought flashed. The slime? that was the first thing he thought. He glanced back at Ryan who was sitting there, maybe thinking of a plan or something else? Rosean was not sure what he was thinking.

Slime is a slimy, flammable parasitic monster. Sometimes, they slime will parasitize animals and plants. Actually, Slime monsters were easy to overcome. However, they can easily enter the human body and destroy it from within.

"You guys, make a wall of earth with your magic!" Shouted Ryan. They, who were pointed at by Ryan nodded quickly and touched the ground with their palms.

A wall of earth was created in front of them all, though not so high, at least enough to shelter from the attack with low force. 

"Then, everyone, bow down and take cover behind this wall of land!!"

"U-um, sir, what are you planning"

"Shut up!"

The man who was yelled at by Ryan also shrank and immediately obeyed his orders. They decided to crouch down and take cover behind that wall of land. Rosean narrowed his eyes and did not know what he was thinking.

"Rosen, fire your fire magic at one of the slime!"

Hearing her words, Rosean was shocked. "What are you planning? If my fire is about that, it won't happen"

"Be quiet, follow my orders" Ryan coldly looked at Rosean with his eyes. Rosean's body stiffened and felt a chill on his back. 

Wh-what's this? This feeling…..Like Ryan, this is weird.

Rosean gritted his teeth and obeyed his orders as his cold eyes did not blink at all and constantly emitted a strange chill.

The problem is, in front of them too many Slime can make a great explosion. And also, they were in a cave. 

He sighed and did as Ryan commanded, he immediately pointed his hand towards the mucus pointed at by Ryan and muttered 2 words.

His mana gathered in his palm and began to heat up unnaturally. As a result, the fire was made of empty air and slowly began to form a small flame that was shaped like a small bullet. After aiming for him for a while, he also took his breath.

"Release!"

The fire bullet quickly shot.

Then the explosion became surprisingly smaller which left only hot steam and holes scattered on the walls or floor of the cave. I don't know, but it's like there's something absorbing the impact of the explosion. Too bad he closed his eyes, so he couldn't see what it was.

"Look at the wall!" A man exclaimed in surprise.

Rosean also directed his gaze towards the direction the man pointed to and was shocked.

A small light came out from where he had shot it, which was on their lower left wall. The light was dim but it emitted quite condensed magic energy. Rosean immediately looked at Ryan with a surprised look.

"Is that what you're planning?" Ask Rosean.

"If so, what's your problem?" The answer.

Rosean. Since when did he turn into a man of this kind of rationality? 

Is there a reason? It was impossible because being trapped in this cave caused people to change their personality drastically. 

Ryan immediately approached the crack of light and placed his hand on the light. The mana condensed in his palm, although his mana capacity was small, he could at least perform some small alchemy tricks.

"Release!"

The ground he touched became a small shard and was lost to the light. Finally, a hole was created from the light and made a large mouse hole that led them down there.

"What's that?"

"That's.Definitely is a nest monster resides!"

Their murmurs went into Rosean's ears, but he paid him no heed and looked at Ryan seriously. "Then, what are you gonna do?" Rosean asked curiously.

Ryan, without answering. "Of course, get out of here…."

Rosean was speechless with his answer and sighed. He also looked at George who was carried by one of the swordsmen in this group with Ryan who was holding his chin with his eyes that became empty for a moment 

Rosean won't sweat. Will it be this easy? Then, what about the Princess' entourage?

"You guys, do you want to get out?" Suddenly Ryan turned around and looked at the swarm of men and women with his eyes.

"Of course!" One of the nobles replied to represent his friends who were accompanied by their desperate nods.

"Then follow me…"

Ryan jumped into the hole and surprised them.

"What are you doing!!" One of the men panicked when he saw Ryan jump.

"Mrs Rosean, what should we do?" A woman whose expensive clothes were now shabby asked doubtfully. Compared to Ryan, they trusted Rosean and George more for their kindness and strength.

Rosean paused for a moment, and saw George still unconscious there.

I don't know why, but….It seems like a bad decision.

"We jumped"

"Eh?" The man nearby froze with his decision.

"T-but-"

"Hurry, we shouldn't make him wait."

Rosean just sighed and stared at the hole where Ryan had jumped. 

"My gut felt something bad…"
