A Stretched Relationship
After that Estelle went downstairs with her suitcase. He saw that his Daddy was sitting at the dinner table reading the newspaper.
" Good morning, dad." said Estelle greeting Harrison with a big smile.
Harrison took down the newspaper that covered his face.
" Morning" Harrison said flatly before returning to his newspaper.
Seeing the reaction from Harrison made Estelle again disappointed. Why after the last 3 years her daddy a little avoid her and not only that her daddy was cold to her. It made Estelle feel sad and chose to sit in the dining chair.
Clarissa who came while carrying a cup of coffee saw Estelle's whereabouts immediately smiled.
" Good morning, Estelle let's have breakfast after that we'll get ready to go" Clarissa said, returning to the kitchen to pick up something.
Estelle glanced at Harrison with a hopeful look.
" Dad, can you take me to the harbor?" estelle asked softly as she felt disinclined by the aura released by Harrison.
" I can't today have an important task to complete. So go with mom and Darren." said Harrison, who picked up his briefcase before leaving home.
Leaving Estelle with teary eyes hearing her Daddy's rejection. Clarissa who had just come while carrying crepes saw Estelle's teary eyes immediately approaching her and hugged her letting her daughter cry.
It was true that not long after Estelle cried while hugging Clarissa with a sad and mixed feeling.
" Kena.pa hicks...Daddy's turning hix.." said Estelle on the sidelines of her crying.
Clarissa who heard him only tightened her embrace. He realized in the last 3 years Harrison's attitude seemed to change especially to Estelle. Harrison used to pamper his daughter but somehow now he is very cold and always avoids his son.
It makes Clarissa sad but she does not want to show Estelle.
Estelle raised her head showing a reddened face and filled with tears on her cheeks. Clarissa gently wiped the tears from her cheek using her finger.
" Is that mommy?" estelle asked with a look of hope again.
Estelle really hopes her relationship with daddy will be like it used to be.
" Of course baby, so don't cry anymore we just leave now" Clarissa said.
Estelle heard him have to wipe her tears with a smile before then nodding her head. She will try to repair her relationship with her daddy.
After being in port Estelle immediately say goodbye to Mommy and Darren before entering the ship.
Estelle is looking for a place to sleep tonight as she always meets Arthur and Aisha.
" Hello, Arthur and Aisha how are you doing during the holidays" Estelle said as she sat on the sofa in the shared room on the boat.
Arthur and Aisha sit across from Estelle.
" Of course I spent some boring time studying manners. Considering I'm about 14, it's definitely time to make my debut. Although my relationship with my father has not improved. But there's something I want to tell you something very important" Aisha said with a mysterious smile.
Makes Estelle and Arthur squint at her forehead curiously.
