Bed With In-laws

Bed With In-laws
Reason Reyna

Darion reached out his big hand, then landed on Zea's shoulder. The girl turned her head to the left side, when her bead eyes saw the figure of Darion, a knot of smiles engraved clearly. The originally agitated look on Reyna's decision, instantly changed as she looked at Darion's smile and gentle gaze.

But Darion did not speak directly to Zea, but to the father who was still standing beside Zea. Without looking at his father, Darion delivered a message from his mother.

“Mother calls you, Father.”

Hellian thought it was just the kid's tactic to keep him away from Zea. But even so, the old man still left them and met Reyna. After seeing Hellian leave, Darion immediately switched positions, crouching in front of Zea.

“Everything, alright?” zea asked curiously, but only answered from Darion.

Curiosity suddenly teased the man, after seeing Zea's expression before she smiled. Darion, who thinks Hellian is bothering Zea again, asks Zea a lot of questions.

“What were you talking about earlier?”

“He didn't say anything that hurt you, did he?”

A smile was re-engraved. Not knowing why, there was a feeling of happiness when he realized Darion's anxiety, although this was not his first time.

Zea shook her head softly as she said, "No, don't worry about it."

"Good then. Let's go back to the room and rest!"

Darion carried Zea's body gently. Moved the girl's body into a wheelchair, then pushed her back to a different 1-story room with Reyna's room.

As they boarded the elevator, Zea, who had been in a state of curiosity, tried to ask in a slightly hesitant tone.

"Don …."

"Say what you want to ask!" daron answered before Zea continued his question.

"Is ... madam okay?"

Zea looked down, staring at the fingers of the fingers that were looking at each other. There was a fear he could not cover up. A feeling that Darion can clearly see.

"He's fine. Well, in the end," explains Darion again pushing the wheelchair when the elevator door opens.

"really? Not a single problem?" Zea tried to make sure.

Darion was silent for a moment, like he was thinking something. Then, a smile appeared on his face. A smile that Zea could not see.

"There is only 1 problem" said Darion who immediately made Zea look back.

"If you see her again, don't call her madam, but call 'mom'. Understood?"

Zea was silent, trying to watch Darion's ambiguous words. But a split second later, Zea's countenance turned crimson.

"Don! You tease me!" lamented annoyance. He even hit Darion's hand which was pushing him.

"Slow as usual!" Darion laughed crisply, not caring about Zea's annoyance.

Hellian returned to the room where the wife was being treated. When entering, the curtains look closed, making the room a little dark because the sunlight is blocked by thick curtains.

"Why is the room dark?" hellian asked with focused eyes looking at Reyna who was sitting leaning on the bed.

"Is your body uncomfortable? I'll call the nurse!" Hellian who was a little panicked, hurriedly got up to his feet after seeing Reyna's face up close.

However, Reyna refused and instead told Hellia to sit back. Hellian obeyed, doing Reyna's request without asking anything.

"For the past week, have you been wrong?"

Hellian tried to guess, finding out the topic Reyna was talking about. But for a few seconds, he found no answer.

"I don't understand …."

"You think I forgive you for Darion? A selfish brat like your nature?" cut Reyna staring firmly at Hellian.

"Yes. I guess it's all for –"

"Stupid!" czech Reyna again. "You're still a fool and you can't understand the situation!"

Hellian massaged his forehead, trying to understand Reyna's direction. But in the end, he gave up.

"Please, say it clearly. I'm such a fool!"

Reyna sighed, then looked straight ahead. The view was also attached to a large television attached to the wall.

"We are old enough. Instead of living apart and longing for each other, then dying in a state of saving longing. That would be tragic enough for our story" Reyna explained.

"You yourself know how to live alone without the person you love. Everything feels empty even if you pretend to be busy every day. Didn't we?"

Reyna turned her head, looking at Hellian who was looking at her with a pushy look. As if he was hinting that he was helpless.

"You're trying to persuade me to accept that woman?" guess Hellian suddenly.

But hearing Hellian's assumption, Reyna snorted angrily. "You still don't know? Where's your son's stubbornness from?"

"I still can't!"

"Aren't you content to torture us all with your selfishness first? All mistakes start with you. The boy just wants to be happy, don't make him burdened again. 26 years, it's not a short time!"

Hellian got up from his chair, then turned around and walked towards the window. From behind the curtain that was slightly exposed, he tried to swallow the truth Reyna had just spoken.

26 Years is not a short time. Darion had endured everything that long, in silence. All just because of Hellian selfishness for the reason of keeping Walter's family's good name.

"Try knowing him. She's a good girl. I could see it from the look in the girl's eyes when you met" Reyna said, still trying to convince Hellian.

"He put on a fake face to trick you!"

"Curtain, you old man. Don't you remember, back then I could see the snake woman's trick, but you didn't!"

Hellian let out a rough sigh. Again and again, he was defeated by the reality Reyna spoke.

"Well, I'll try!"
