Episode 23

Duke Carrol's residence, the,

Evening,

Agatha rushed down from the horse-drawn carriage and planned to immediately ask Louis for help. No, no, the girl was sure Louis would definitely not help her. But anyway, Agatha must still force Louis to help her.

Agatha walked towards Louis' room and unceremoniously knocked him. But it has been knocked three times, the owner of the room did not come out. As a result, Agatha chose to ask the maidservant who was sweeping the floor near Louis' room.

"Hey, do you know where Young Master Louis is?" Agatha asked.

The waiter looked down and thought for a moment. "Usually the Young Master went to the tower of Carrol to practice his magic." Reply to the servant woman with the position of the head still down and the hand that holds the broom tightly.

"All right." Agatha immediately set foot towards the tower of Carrol. Today he has to get all the truth about Adelin, so that the disturbing feelings that continue to exist in the heart can be resolved.

The red-haired girl walked quickly towards the tower which was about seven meters away from the main residence of Carrol. The cold continues to sting the skin. Moreover, at this time the dress that Agatha wore was an open dress that exposed her shoulders.

Moments later, the girl had made it to the front of the tower. The building whose main material was stone seemed quiet with the dim rays of lanterns. There was only one bodyguard outside.

"Excuse me, is your Young Master here?" Said Agatha who immediately approached the bodyguard.

"Yes Miss." The guard's mouth.

" Then take me to Louis." The guard nodded. Agatha entered the tower, unexpectedly much darker inside, only to be illuminated by the light of a torch.

Moments later he entered a room shown by the bodyguards. There is a blonde boy who is busy turning over an old book. His face is very serious.

"What do you need to do to come here?" Said Louis who was aware of Agatha's presence.

"Sister I need your help. I want you to destroy the memory sealing magic that's inside me."Pinta Agatha direct.

Louis' eyes were perfect. He thought how Agatha could find out about that. "Are you kidding me? What kind of memory will be sealed from you? You're just a spoiled kid." His eagle kept staring at his old book.

Agatha immediately approached Louis and closed the book that had been of concern to Louis ever since.

"Sister please! I need to know something about Adelin. "

"How do you know that name?" Louis raised his eyebrows.

"Secret.please brother, after my sister helped me. In exchange I will obey all your wishes for an entire month." Agatha tried to negotiate.

Louis seemed to think. He may not be allowed to reveal the figure of Adelin and also the past of Agatha. However, there would be no problem if the Duke did not know about it.

"All right, I agree."

"Now what should I do?"

"Lay in that bed." Louis's Order. Without a doubt, Agatha complied. The man immediately caught up with Agatha and sat down on the edge of the bed. He checked Agatha's pulse and then recited some spells.

Agatha's whole body felt very sick. His soul is separated from his body. She continued to grimace in pain, until the girl realized that she was somewhere else.

Agatha saw her young self lying weakly on the bed with her eyes slightly open.

Don't tell me Louis doesn't just want to unlock that sealing magic. But, Louis also planned to tell me what happened in the past. Think Agatha.

The girl decided to just listen to the incident.

"Do you know who poisoned my son."Duke Carrol asked with great emphasis.

"Already Master, that person was a dark wizard living in the forest. He's one of our enemies."

"Call the witches or the knights and cut off the man!"His word is inexorable.

"Good sir."

"How can I cure him? He's pretty useful to this family."

"Only by performing a death exchange ceremony. But unfortunately this ceremony can only be done by blood relatives."

Duke looked grim and confused. "Is there no other way."

"The dark magic poison that was given was so powerful, sir. If Miss Agatha only ate a drop then her entire body would be stiff. However, it looks like Miss has taken a few drops which means her entire cell will die if not saved within a few hours. Maybe now Miss can still hear us, but it won't last long."

"Huh." Duke is really crazy. He wanted to save Agatha but did not want to sacrifice any of her children.

A little girl overheard the conversation between the two men from behind the door. He was crying withholding. The girl felt guilty. He had only intended to give his father a cup of tea at the request of Viscountess Margaret, but he had heard all this. He then ran in an erratic direction.

Accidentally, he bumped into a woman with blonde hair and a red hat. That woman was Viscountess Margaret. The girl's body fell down with the tea she was carrying.

"How did you give tea to your father?" Margaret smiled cunningly. He squatted down to align his height with the little girl.

"Your sister will die. It is because of you who did not forbid Agatha to go to that place and let Agatha eat the fruit. Adelin you're the guilty one!" Margaret's whisper was full of manipulatives.

The little girl named Adelin stiffened in fear. In his mind he kept wondering. If only she had forbidden Agatha from going to that place. If only he had eaten the fruit and not Agatha. Her tears flowed unconsciously.

Seeing that Margaret was so happy. That woman hates the Duke family so much. His heart had always felt so envious and spiteful looking at the smile imprinted on the Duke family. Margaret may not have been involved in the matter, but she always had a gap to remove the Duke's happy smile.

"Dear Adelin, you know what to do." Viscountess Margaret said as she wiped the girl's hair. He already knew how to cure someone of dark magic because the woman had learned it from a book. The only way is by exchanging death.

The little girl who doesn't know anything can only cry.

"Save your brother! Because you're guilty!" Margaret kept on inciting Adelin until the line kept ringing in the girl's head.

"Time goes on, baby. Don't regret it." That was the last sentence Margaret said while wiping a glimpse of the top of Adelin's hair.

Until a few hours later, Adelin immediately met the Duke and forced to exchange Agatha's death with him. Duke refused, because Adelin was still his son. However, the little girl kept insisting and she also forced the duke to promise not to tell Agatha about all this.

The death exchange ceremony was performed. Adelin's soul was absorbed by the dark magic and Agatha survived. Duke also kept his promise by eliminating all information related to Adelin. Then seal Agatha's memory and forbid the entire residence to mention Adelin's name again, or mention Adelin's characteristics because it will all spur Agatha's memory.

Agatha's soul was again dragged forcefully into her present body. Agatha's breathing continued to clash as the girl regained her senses. Cold sweat sprung up all over his body.

"K-k-o-that's." The girl tried to convey something with a breath of gasp.

"Tell me what you saw?"

"Adelin, Adelin is my twin brother. He died in my place." Heart throbbing. Unknowingly he dripped a clear liquid. And that was the first time Agatha let out her tears.

However it only lasted for a moment as he suddenly recalled the book he had found in the library. In the book it is said that the descendants of Carrol to VI will have a pair of twins, where one is predicted to lead to a great fortune and another is predicted to destroy the descendants of Carrol.

And the one who should be alive is Adelin! Because in the novel is told all the descendants of Carrol will be executed due to Agatha's mistakes. Means Agatha's life path has been outlined to destroy Carrol's descendants, long ago. Even when he was not born. If so, could Agatha now oppose fate??
