Chapter 63 Visit of Laura

The sound of the door opening made Lucy and Mr. Dev turn their heads together and,

"Geez, did I get in at the wrong time ??" said a woman who stood near the door and stared casually at a married couple who were in an intimate position on the bed.

"Laura !!" squealing Lucy was happy to involuntarily push her husband's body just like that.

"Bother !!" mr. Dev snorted in annoyance as his body was pushed by his wife to the point of almost falling off the edge of the bed.

Laura with a distinctive elegant smile stepped leisurely towards the bed and grabbed Lucy's hand.

"Sorry I just came, my husband and I just came back from Russia and when I heard that you were hospitalized I came straight here "

Lucy smiled to see her best friend come and then spread her arms to hug.

They clapped for a moment, then as Mr. Dev cleared his throat,

"Eghem." while looking at the two newly met friends,

Mr. Dev expressionlessly asked through the eyes,

"What are you doing here, bully !" so did kira.

Make Lucy immediately take off Laura's hand and invite her best friend to sit on the sofa.

Then Mr. Dev got off the bed just like that and went back to the next room.

When the connecting door to the next room closed again, Lucy excitedly said that she had improved.

"I'm fine Laura, it's great to see you here to see me. "

Laura did not allow Lucy to get out of bed and get close to the sofa.

"Stay in Lucy's bed, don't make yourself tired let me get there"

Laura then sat down on the bed and talked to Lucy.

Then they continued talking about something light that made the two laugh at each other.

Until the sound of the door re-opened and it was Irene's doctor who was followed by a nurse carrying a trolly filled with food.

"Good morning Miss Lucy.you look fresh yaa. well I will do a morning check, sorry excuse me.. " doctor Irene was very polite when she asked Laura to shift her seat so she could check on Lucy's condition.

Laura not only shifted but chose to stand up and walk toward the sofa near the window, she waited while playing the phone until Irene finished checking on her best friend.

A few moments later..

"All is normal Miss Lucy, just recovery and if you want to be able to go home tomorrow yes" said doctor Irene while again draping the tool used to examine Lucy in her neck.

"Thank you doc, you're the best "Lucian to give me two thumbs up to make doctor Irene smile again.

Then Irene's doctor ordered a nurse behind her to serve food on the table.

"Serve everything on the table, don't miss a single menu" said Irene.

"Good doc.. " The nurse nodded politely then pulled the trolly near a rather wide table near the sofa.

The nurse put all the menus neatly, various healthy foods presented until making Laura glance at the wonder.

Is it all food for the patient ? why is it more like a family breakfast menu ? ck the service is too excessive, where maybe Lucy spent all that. Inner Laura then back to play her cellphone replied to a message with her husband.

The nurse finished serving the entire menu of food from Trolly, along with doctor Irene who was about to withdraw Mr. Dev entered the room with a plenary appearance.

Everyone turned to look at the presence of Mr. Dev who was Hhmm handsome and dashing with black work pants and suits, white shirts and red ties. Hair arrangement in a neat comb greatly adds to the points of good looks, really fresh to the eye.

There was no sound, just the footsteps of Mr. Dev's shoes approaching the table containing all the food, the net seemed to scan every type of food in the field, the,
