Reed and Captain Arnor attempt to fight them, while Avianna protects the wounded and tells the others to bring the wounded back. The Earth Basilisk fought so aggresively they simultaneously threw their tails and hit the ground to make the balance of the soldiers waver, many of which bounced off due to the tails of the Earth Basilisk.

“Aarrrrrggghhhhh...” shouted the bouncing soldier.
Reed couldn't hold out any longer, if he attacked and ignored the others many would get injured there was even a chance of someone dying.

The three Earth Basilisk saw Reed approaching them, the Earth Basilisk's gaze fixed on Reed who was trying to attack them, the Earth Basilisk attacked with its tail and stomped the ground of their front legs.
