Between the Three Hearts
Chapters. DTH 18

Tonight Alex and Vania are in bed with Vani leaning against Alex's chest. He wanted to say about his plans to marry Alex and Adiba but was confused where to start. Vania took a breath to calm her heart, she would try to speak softly to Alex.

Adiba already agreed to the terms because he was confused about having to look for a lot within a period of a few hours. In the end Adiba accepted Vania's offer even though it would definitely torment his inner self.

"By," call Vani in a soft tone.

Alex cleared his throat and put the magazine on the table.

"What's up, honey? Looks like you want to say something," said Alex, who already knows how to speak Vania.

"By, I do want to say something and I beg you to consider what I say." Vania straightened up, she sat down to Alex.

"Yes, just say it. Why do you look so nervous and confused?" Alex looked at Vania's face fixedly.

"I want you to marry Adiba."

"WHAT!" alex shouted spontaneously, he even straightened his body. ''Don't joke, honey. This is not funny" he continued with a faint smile.

"By, I'm serious. I want you to marry Adiba but bethetically so we can have children."

"What kind of "ridiculous request is this? Do you realize what you said just now, Vania? Are you willing to share a husband just for the sake of a child? No, not Vania!" Alex denies.

"By, I beg you! Think about this once again, I just don't want you to wait too long if I have to contain your seeds. You remember what the doctor said, right? It will likely be difficult for me to get pregnant again, our age is getting older and I do not want us to age without a successor." Vania's eyes are already glazed.

"We can adopt a child, Vania. There are many other ways but not with this silly idea of yours." Alex sneered at her temple, she turned her back on the face because she could not see Vania's sad face.

"But I just want us to have a successor and that's your flesh and blood, by." The tears finally shed.

Alex sighed, he could not think clearly if he saw Vania crying. He decided to get out of bed and go out of the room. Alex walks into the living room, he'll settle his mind there.

As Alex sat down, Adiba soon came out wearing only a negligee shirt on his knees. She looks sexy and beautiful but not in Alex's eyes.

Adiba was surprised when he saw someone sitting on the sofa while the clock was showing at eleven o'clock at night, at which time Adiba wanted to take water. He approaches the couch, realizing that Alex is there.

"Mr Alex, why are you here?" greeting Adiba politely, he stood behind the sofa that Alex was sitting on.

Alex just glanced at Adiba for a moment then he pinched his temple again.

"Sir, can I help you?" bargain Diba with full softness.

"No! Go and don't bother me" Alex said firmly and flatly.

Adiba just nodded then he went from there towards the kitchen, after taking the drinking water, Adiba immediately walked back towards his room.

He didn't know who to ask about this. If he makes his own decisions, he is afraid the choice is wrong.

The sun had already revealed its form, it was shining brightly like normal days but not for the three hearts that were currently being enveloped by confusion. Alex, he still can't decide on a request from Vania. This morning even Vania kept asking him the same question. Alex was only able to shift the conversation but he couldn't keep going like that.

Now he is ready to go to the office and just continue to eat breakfast. Seen Adiba brought a bowl of fried chicken rice mixed with petai, he put it on the dining table. Diba sits there and joins Vania as well as Alex.

"Eum, it looks good." said Vania with a sweet smile as she picked up the fried rice and filled the plate.

Vania was very good at eating the breakfast Adiba made. He even repeatedly praised the taste of the cuisine.

"By, don't you want to try it?" said Vani whose mouth is still full of chewing breakfast.

Alex wants to spoon the rice but Vani's call stops him.

"Diba, please fill my husband's plate with your fried rice. You see, I'm eating my breakfast." Vania said in a light tone.

Adiba wants to do Vania's request but Alex immediately prevents her.

"No need! I'll have breakfast at the office he said and got out of the chair and rushed out of the house.

Alex is very uncomfortable with Vania's behavior this time, Vania seems to want to bring Adiba closer to her.

After Alex moved away, Vani pulled back his plate and he dipped the water in the glass. He looked at Adiba who just looked down.

"Diba, you don't have to worry. I'm sure and assure you that Alex will soon accept my proposal. I will continue to try to persuade her to marry you," said Vania sincerely despite a slight tightness in her chest when one day she will see her husband with his best friend.

"Don't force her too much, I don't want her to hate me.

"Give everything to me, '' continued Vani.

Vania says goodbye to Adiba to go to the boutique first.

While Diba, he will catch up with Vania later after lunch because Vani asks him to bring lunch for Alex. Yeah, to have Alex melt down and accept that ridiculous wedding.
