Chapter 19: Escape from the Guards

After a brief discussion in the elevator, not long the elevator they entered rang, the second sign had reached the destination floor.

The eyes of Vino and Kim Lanly met for a moment, then nodded together.

Kim Lanly pressed another button to close the elevator while looking at the figure of Vino who was walking away from her.

The family guards did not know Vino was leaving.

The elevator closed and Kim Lanly was taken to another floor to measure the time.

At the same time, Vino walked leisurely while looking at the passers-by in the apartment lobby.

Vino's angle of vision saw several men in black suits passing around the loby of the apartment.

Seeing this made Vino think about Kim Lanly's identity, whether she was the president's son or something important, her guard was too strict and excessive.

Although not a lover of Korean bands, there are some songs that Vino favorite because the tone of the song matches his taste.

Not only Korea anymore, there are some foreign songs that Vino likes even though he does not understand the lyrics.

As the song humming out of Vino's mouth, he was already in front of the main door of the apartment. No need to hold back anymore, Vino came out with a little suspicion from the people.

The apartment dwellers assume that Vino has a singer who also lives in the apartment.

However, there was one of the bodyguards in suits glancing at the figure of Vino who walked out with suspicious eyes.

Vino's response was ordinary, also had time to stare at the bodyguard for a moment, then ignore him as if nothing was wrong.

Standing in front of the apartment, Vino's finger typed a message to Kim Lanly about his current situation.

Kim Lanly replied with a message containing an okay sign, and asked to wait for her at the cafe not far from the apartment.

When Vino left for the cafe requested by Kim Lanly, the bodyguard who had been suspicious of him monitored Vino's figure from inside the apartment through a glass wall.

Shortly after Vino went to the cafe, Kim Lanly's figure came out with 3 family bodyguards who insisted on looking after him.

"You guys just here, I won't go far, just want to buy some small food and drinks at the cafe, just wait here." Kim Lanly looked at these three bodyguards with a serious face.

The three guards nodded in understanding.

Seeing the response of the three of them, a smile appeared on the tip of Kim Lanly's lips and she walked towards the cafe.

Their gaze kept locked on the figure of Kim Lanly who slowly moved away and disappeared towards her subscription cafe.

Naturally, as the family bodyguards, they knew the cafe that her young miss was referring to.

"Is she going to a regular cafe?" ask one of the guards to the other.

"Right, miss is usually there," the bodyguard asked replied with a nod.

Aware of something, one of the silent guards gasped and hit the other guard on the shoulder. "Did you see a man singing a little in the lobby of the apartment earlier?"

"Yes, what's wrong?" The guard who patted his shoulder turned his head. "Is something wrong?"

In an instant, the faces of the three of them changed and looked at one with the other.

"Not good, we should immediately check on the lady there."

One of the guards rushed to the cafe first, followed by the other two guards.

Inside the cafe, Vino sat on one of the chairs in the cafe room while looking at the incoming Kim Lanly.

"Have you ordered a drink?" asked Kim Lanly after sitting across from Vino.

"No, I'm waiting for you, yet" Vino replied shaking his head.

"Good, we have to get out of here before they follow us. Don't we both want to date while doing things?"

"Well, let's go!"

Both of them stood up from their seats and intended to leave this cafe.

By the time they got out of the cafe, the three bodyguards were seen running towards the two of them.

Seeing this, Kim Lanly became panicked and patted Vino on the shoulder hastily. "We have to run!"

Vino nodded calmly. "Let me carry. You're gonna be tired."

"E–ee, okay. Come quickly carry me! They're so close!"

Next, Vino took Kim Lanly's body in a front sling style, the bodies of the two of them meeting each other.

Kim Lanly's two legs wrapped around Vino's waist, and placed her hands around Vino's neck. They had already found a suitable position, then Vino's legs started to move.

"Miss, don't run!!" The family guards ran after Vino who was carrying Kim Lanly while running.

Despite carrying the heavy weight of a woman, Vino's running speed was extremely fast, even these three bodyguards had difficulty.

The reason Vino can run fast and not fatigue is because the Body Power Lifter is focused on lifting weights and combined with the fast running skills of professional athletes.

Vino's running breathing was very controlled, and Kim Lanly's body load was well tolerated.

Kim Lanly's apartment was actually in Seoul City, not so far away to the shopping mall where many people passed by.

Kim Lanly could see the three bodyguards growing further behind, a smile and a wave of hands directed towards the three of them. "Tell me not to bother me to have fun today with my boyfriend! Bye bye!"

Shortly after saying that, the two entered the bustling city center, and the three guards lost track of Vino.

"Damn! That guy is fast!" annoyed one of the guards with a gasp of breath.

"We ... we must .. contact the chairman and have the other bodyguard watch over both!" reply the other bodyguard with a disjointed speech.

"I'm tired!" The last of the bodyguards sat on the sidewalk with unstable breaths. The bodyguard's hand pressed the phone screen and contacted Kim Lanly's father as well as the other family bodyguards. "Sir, Miss Kim Lanly was taken by a man who was considered a girlfriend by Miss ...."
