Chapter 12 - Ivyanne = Ivory?

Ivyanne's body floated, followed by Zach's. However, it was not on his own will or strength but rather the strength of Ivyanne.

And the girl clutched even tighter until the sound of bone rustling that almost crumbled along with a groan of pain from Zach's mouth.

“ARGH!”

It was then that Ivana and Drake came to their senses and, despite the influence of Ivyanne's magic, witnessed firsthand how the girl was in the process of delivering Zach to hell.

“Ivy! What the hell are you doing?! Please let her go, Ivy!” pinta Ivana who could not bear to see the husband who was tortured in such a way. “Ivy, please let her go, Ivy!”

Ivyanne does not obey what Ivana asks but rather tightens her grip. His eyes, which were originally white, now turned black. His mouth unceasingly cast a spell of torment for the wolf man.

However, the strangeness occurs when Ivyanne is about to end Zach's life. He felt the same pain Zach was feeling.

Ivana shakes. Her face turned grim, realizing that both her efforts to persuade her husband and Ivyanne would have been futile.

“K-why am I home? Where is Drake?” All of Ivyanne's questions left Zach astonished and wondering. Wasn't that girl so savage as she was about to take her life away?

Why does he seem to know nothing now, or perhaps he does not remember the real events?

“You fainted.” Ivana was about to help Ivyanne to sit down, but Zach headed towards her and removed Ivana from the side of Ivyanne. The man locked his sharp gaze on the two eyeballs of Ivyanne who were still not completely.

“Who are you really?” attack Zach with his hand gripped tightly against Ivyanne's wrist.

However, after all, Zach is a man whose strength exceeds that of a woman like Ivyanne. Moreover, Zach is no ordinary human.

However, one thing made Zach wonder, though, Ivyanne always acts foolish and knows nothing whenever Zach urges her about the sudden power she uses to protect herself and hurt others.

“Honey, please don't be so hard on him. You may have mistaken. There's no way Ivory's the same age as Ivyanne. Isn't he even older than me? Maybe Ivyanne does have that power, but she doesn't know anything.” Ivana's trying to defend Ivyanne. He looked at the poor girl.

Ivyanne had not been able to answer, and Zach had already cut her words.

“Ivory is a witch, Ivana. So anything can happen. Don't be fooled by this girl's innocent face! I'm sure, he can turn his face into anyone.”

Ivana only sighed when she heard Zach's accusation against Ivyanne that could not be denied at all. As Ivana said, it might just be a coincidence.

Or it could be, what Ivyanne said was the truth, that she did not know anything about her strength.
