After being content to joke with his best friends on the rooftop, Chacha decided to go home early considering there were no lessons to make him lazy to be in school for too long.

Yes, it's all just acting. His return this time was not because he really wanted to go home but because of his wrath on Chacha. How could he who had been trying to make Chacha's reputation destroyed but now instead turned around all praised Chacha.
