Chapter 1 ~ Introduction ~

Theo heaved a sigh of relief after he reached the Jakarta city terminal, his journey that spent one night exhausted him moreover he had never set foot in this cruel metropolis.

Theo came out of the terminal with his butut bag, which contained some worn clothes.He walked down the streets, he was confused to have a break where because he did not have enough money to contract the boarding.

Theo's innocent appearance, indicating he had just arrived in this city,as the biggest child he decided to migrate to this city hoping to help his parents who are old to send their two younger sisters.

Theo smelled the smell of food, his stomach which was already hungry from not eating from last night grew increasingly rumbling, he gulped his saliva when he saw the people who were eating.

"What do you want to order deck?" A veiled woman came out of her stall and approached her because she felt sorry for Theo's appearance.

"Sorry mom, I didn't order anything I just happened to pass by." Theo replied, he felt embarrassed because the owner of the food stall caught him looking at his wares.Theo took his legs back he felt bad because the woman continued to look at him.

"Sir...?"The woman called Theo who had walked away from her stall.Theo stopped his steps and turned to look at the woman.

"Yes mom..!!"

"Can you ask for help?" Asked the woman, she knew that Theo was starving, she could not bear to let Theo go on a hungry stomach.

"See what mom helps, I'll help you if I can." Answer Theo hesitated.

"Mother today is too busy, customers are very much today, can you help mom to wash the dishes that are behind?" Linda asked the middle-aged woman who owned the stall.

"Mom, with pleasure." Theo.Linda answered, bringing him into his stall some customers looked at Theo, from his appearance they knew that Theo was a new person coming to this city.

Linda asked Theo for help, on purpose,but before he told Theo Linda to first tell him to eat.Theo's face immediately excited when Linda gave food to him it feels he is very grateful because today he can still eat without spending his money which is still he kept some sheets.

After being full, Theo washed all the dishes in the bathroom, Linda was quite satisfied to see the work of Theo, he knew that Theo was a good and simple man.

"We don't know what your name is yet?" Linda asked when Theo had returned to her stall and was sitting on an empty chair.

"My name is Theo ma'am, I just moved to this town, but I don't have enough money to eat." Theo said, he saw Linda was a pretty good mother.

"Ohh, I'm Linda, you can stay for a while at my mother's house, all you help me and you can find a job,this city is pretty scary if you don't have anything hopefully you get a job quickly so you can find a contract for you." Linda said, Theo several times greeted Linda, she was very grateful to God because she was met with women as good as Linda.

"Have come papa, I have no desire to get married, if later I am ready then I will soon marry Robert.

"As long as you are ready, you are how old Naomi is, you think you are young, if not your future husband who leads this company who else, you are the only hope of papa." Carles said his papa in a hopeful tone.

Maya who was sitting in the room was very upset when she heard her husband speak so right in front of her, she seemed to not appreciate him as her legal wife.

Maya is the second wife of Carles, she married Carles a year after her mother Maya died, while married to Carles she brought a son named Abimana .Maya immediately got out of her seat and left her husband and Naomi in the living room, she went into the son's room.

He pushed the door violently, then threw away all the objects that were on the table that were in the son's room.

"What's the matter ma?"The sleeping son immediately woke up and sat on his bed he was very shocked when he heard the sound of broken glass falling on the floor.

"What...What's..Are you saying, you are indeed a useless child, look...See your step-father force Naomi to marry Robert to have him hand over the company to his son-in-law later,if you can work well and be a obedient man then that old man will entrust the company to you." Maya with a face full of emotion.

"I fought almost twenty years to be the best wife for that old Bangka turned out to be the result of disappointment." Speak with a voice that has begun to weaken.

Maya is married to Carles,by the time Naomi and Carles were seven years old, she had been struggling to be kind to Carles and Naomi, her stepson, even though Naomi knew that her stepmother's love was not heartfelt.

"Ma...Even if I lick to death that old Bangka, he will never give this company to me, a mother who hopes too much." Maya looked at him cynically, during this time she always advised the Son not to live fun-foya and play women out there but the son never heeded his advice.

"You know what you know about that man, you know enough about him, your useless foundation, you're so disappointed with you, you ruined all my dreams." Maya said, she went to leave the Son who was still sitting on the bed.

Maya returns to the living room, she sees her husband watching the news on television.

"Father, I'm very disappointed with papa, why is it that papa trusted Robert more to lead the company, when the Son is still there, the son is also your son papa." Maya said in a trembling tone.Carles did not flinch in the slightest his gaze was still straight ahead.

"You should know your limits Maya, you forgot that my son is not my flesh and blood, and I'm not stupid, not knowing anything the Son is doing out there." Carles replied with a relaxed but quite piercing tone in Maya's ear.
