The village that had been quiet, immediately crowded with villagers who flocked to approach their entourage. Whereas Ling Shen shed his tears looking at the excitement engraved on their faces.

The anteater that Luo Jian had killed was then taken out from within the spatial ring that Ling Shen had.

"Finally this stupid animal got caught!"

"Finally the antidote has been found!" The cheers of the citizens made Luo Jian raise next to his eyebrows.

Before long, the voice of village chief Ling Jhin broke the crowd of citizens for the hard work done by Ling Shen.

"Shener you've finally returned" Ling Zhuo said.

"Grandfather," said a friendly Ling Shen.

"All my brothers, it wasn't us who killed him, it was our new brother who killed him, so you guys..."

Suddenly the sky of Ling Jhin village shook, a fornation seal appeared to seal the entire village. The instantly blackened clouds that were enlivened by the sound of small lightning bolts danced in the sky. Slightly surprised by the formation seal being seen, it arrived Ling Shen startled Luo Jian's daydream by pulling Luo Jian's body forcibly into the nearby mansion. Likewise with the residents who immediately re-entered their homes.

Slowly a crack began to appear, the crack also made a dark aura and a demonic awareness seeped from within the crack slowly entering Luo Jian's Body. Instantly his body trembled along with his body starting to lose control.

"My body is a holy body, there is no way that not a heart demon will appear," Luo Jian said inwardly continuing to endure the overflow of such a powerful demonic awareness into his body.

Without him noticing, from the very beginning he absorbed the consciousness of the demons. Not that his Divine consciousness neutralized the demonic consciousness, but rather the demonic consciousness also grew in addition to his Divine consciousness. The screams of the citizens who have lost control make a horror of its own. Many of them could not bear the pain of banging their heads, blindly destroying everything near them.

Slowly the rift grew as Luo Jian's demonic-consciousness grew. Luo Jian's body felt numb. Even though he was a former God.

The muffled explosion from within his body, it signaled Luo Jian had broken through to Heaven level three just by absorbing the consciousness of the Devil that had been processed into a resource for his Dantian. But, without him knowing, the consciousness of Satan is also embedded next to the consciousness of God until it grows in such a way.

Amidst the absorption of the Devil consciousness, his God consciousness felt an aura figure hiding behind a large tree staring at him with a purpose that he certainly could not guess. On the other hand, Luo Jian was still unaware of the demon soul that continued to grow if it absorbed the Devil consciousness it still remained quietly cultivating absorbing the formation seal above the sky of Ling Jhin village at extreme speed.

"It looks like it was that elder who put up this seal," Luo Jian muttered still cultivating but with a wary attitude.

The elder in black robes continued to look at Luo Jian with a face full of question marks. Just as he wanted to attack, he suddenly remembered his identity which was also the same as Luo Jian.

"That boy can absorb the consciousness of the Devil, maybe he's one of my comrades. But he shouldn't have done that either" he thought as he hardened his jaw.

Choosing to keep a close eye on what Luo Jian was going to do, on the other hand the citizens who had been lost were slowly aware of the influence of the Devil consciousness they thought was the plague.

"Shener, it looks like your friend is a healer?" Ling Zhuo asked who responded to Ling Shen's headband.

Ling Shen could only shake his head, he then told of his encounter with Luo Jian when he wanted to kill the pangolin that they thought was the cause of the plague clearly.

"The elder is still not moving, it is time for me to refocus," Luo Jian muttered adding his focus towards the absorption of the God consciousness.

One day had passed, Luo Jian had increased his cultivation to Heaven level five. His face creased as the seal on it already lacked the slightest bit of demonic consciousness that he could absorb anymore.

"Aiiih turned out to be exhausted, but the elder was still watching me until now," he said inwardly then looked at the villagers who were also unmoved as they looked at the oddity in Luo Jian's body.

"It's..." Luo Jian was blocked when he felt two circles appear behind his back.

One was the consciousness of the Devil, and the other was the God consciousness clearly displayed as he formed a formation seal making a mock mirror to observe his body.
