43. First Grandchild

Later today, Barsha sat down to chat with Arleya. The two were talking about Arum and Rayden who never gave any news. Two women who are both thinking about Arum.

"You're sure they're not here?" ask Arleya.

"Right, they haven't been here in a long time" Barsha replied visibly unsettled.

"Have you never called Rayden?" ask Arleya again.

Barsha shook her head. "Absolutely never"

"Are they not going to go honymoon?" muttered Arleya touching her chin.

"If they go honymoon, they must be my permission" Barsha said. Arleya frowned. Just this time he saw the look on Barsha's face so worried about someone.

"Is it possible that something has happened to them in Edward's mansion?" Arleya guessed it again.

"Lady Arleya, your words make me more agitated at the thought of the girl. If Edward finds out she's not your son, he'll be killed!"

DEG. Braga's assistant who accidentally passed by was quite surprised to hear him, he stopped and began to quietly eavesdrop near the door.

"Don't until that happens, the girl is completely innocent." Arleya moved to sit down and calm the concubine Barsha who covered her face with both hands.

"Geez, just this time I feel bad. Not only will the girl be killed, but Rayden will also be killed. I could even get punished!"

"I should have kept them from staying here."

Apparently Barsha does not know about the problems that occur due to his assistant.

"Rayden,"

"Rayden?" shocked Arleya. Concubine Barsha raised the voice call immediately.

📱 "Hello, Ray. How are you guys doing?"

But there is no answer.

📱 "Son, answer Mama!"

Again, there is no answer. Arleya was anxious, she grabbed the phone and then snapped firmly.

📱 "Rayden, where's your manners? Why are you just quiet, huh? Answer us!"

Finally there was an answer, but Rayden's voice trembled somewhat.

📱 "Ma-ma,"

Barsha was surprised, she snatched her phone again.

📱 "What's wrong with you? What's with your voice? You guys are okay, right?"

Questions were asked in a row.

📱 "A-rum,"

📱 "What's wrong with your wife?"

📱 "A-arum, Mah-"

Arleya is back in anxiety. He also spoke on that call.

📱 "Rayden! Can't you talk normally?!" I think he wanted to hit that guy.

📱 "Rayden calm down, tell Mama what happened to you?" ask Barsha.

📱 "Mama hurry here," said Rayden still with the same voice.

Arleya looked at Barsha.

"Rayden is not usually like this, something must have happened to them, Barsha."

📱 "Where are you now?"

Rayden was silent.

📱 "Rayden! Is it so hard for you to talk?" ketus Arleya cold.

📱 "Son-kick"

📱 "To the hospital, come here soon, Mah!" rayden answered with great difficulty.

📱 "Hospital? Why are you there?" ask the two women in unison.

The call just dropped out. But one message came in. Barsha and Arleya rush to the hospital address Rayden sent.

Once there, the two women search for Rayden's whereabouts. The two women were very anxious after seeing Rayden sitting in a chair alone while looking straight at the door of the room in front of him.

"Rayden,"

"Rayden, look at Mama. What the hell happened to you?"

"Why did you send us here?"

"Who's the Doctor in there, son?"

Rayden squeezed the end of the chair, stood up and hissed.

"A-arum, Mah."

Arleya was surprised that the pregnant girl was rushed to the hospital.

"Arum? What happened to him, son?" Barsha grabbed Rayden's arm.

"Di-dia-"

Rayden was stopped when the door to the IGD room opened. A few dressed in green came out to them. Rayden who was impatient and anxious from earlier wanted to barge in, but one of the Doctors intercepted him.

"Sorry, Sir. The patient cannot be disturbed temporarily,"

"But I'm her husband, Doc!"

All of the Doctors who were treating Arum gasped in shock at the same time.

"Husband?" The doctors were astonished because Arum's appearance was not the same as that of Mr. Edward's son-in-law.

Arleya went forward to explain that the girl inside was her daughter.

"Pleass, let me in, Doc!" please Rayden insisted.

"All right." Rayden went inside. The man was standing right beside the half-pale girl. He grabbed Arum's hand, feeling weak and boneless.

"I'm sorry, baby." His tears fell on the back of the wife's hand. Rayden sat next to the gurney, waiting for Arum to wake up. Doctors outside began to explain Arum's deteriorating health condition which almost had an impact on the girl's heart.

"It's lucky he brought her here. If it was too late at all, then the lives of Mother and child in her stomach are no longer helped. It's so lacking in nutrients and blood." The doctor explained the baby's condition.

Barsha was shocked to hear it.

"Why did you get to that?" muttered the concubine Barsha clenched her hands seeing Rayden looking down inside there. His heart raged between disappointment and anger at Rayden.

"May God restore my daughter's health, Doc." Arleya was sorry to see Arum lying down and wearing an oxygen aid.

"Do doctors know why it's like this?"

"I'm sorry, we're just helping patients, ma'am. The rest only Mr. Rayden knows," said the Doctor glancing at Rayden.

"When will he wake up, Doc?"

"We have not confirmed it, but patients now need blood transfusions" replied another doctor.

"Blood transfusion?"

"Yes, Madam. The patient urgently needs a blood donor to recover his condition,"

"Then I'm ready for a blood transfusion, Doc!" Arleya offered her blood.

"Sorry, Madam. What is your blood type?"

"AB-, Doc!"

"Sorry Madam, you can't,"

"Why is that, Doc?"

"Patients with blood type B+,"

DEG. Barsha. His heart thumped and glanced at Arum.

"Then let me, Doc! My blood is the same as my manantu" said Barsha.

"Alright, please come with us to check up first, ma'am."

Not long after, Barsha came out of the room as well. He approached Arleya and gave her permission to go to Arum's room. The woman ran immediately wanting to see her daughter-in-law. Arleya's gaze also focused on the blood bag the nurse was carrying. Suddenly, the woman held the doctor who came out.

"Doctor,"

"Yes, why hold me back, ma'am?"

"If I do a DNA test, when will the results come out?"

"Oh that, about 48 hours or it could be three days out, ma'am."

"In that case, can the Doctor do a DNA test from now on?"

"It can, ma'am,"

"Good, do it now!" Arleya entered with the Doctor into the room. Barsha stood in front of the window. Staring at Arum's face, he felt sorry to see him helpless. 'Rayden, you have to explain this to Mama!' The woman came in wanting to ask, but stopped when Rayden mumbled.

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I've hurt the girl I love, and endangered your first grandchild. I'm just like the cruel Papa of today." Rayden quietly sobbed, remembering Elizabeth's Mother. Her birth mother.

Barsha abandoned her intentions, allowing Rayden to calm down. The woman sat on a chair not far from the young couple. He remembered Edward's behavior, where he went on tour with Lady Arleya when Edward had an affair with Lady Mariam. His heart injury is still felt today. Barsha pinched her suddenly aching head. 'You're still different from your father, Rayden. You're still loyal unlike your stupid father!' Barsha gave a pissed-off.
