Sebastian bowed his head and looked up to look at Cherryl's face, which had been bowing ever since. After the previous incident, the girl just shut up and shut her mouth. The guy also has to bother because Cherryl will continue like that and difficult to be persuaded. Usually bought ice cream or cake, but now when asked if Cherryl remains silent.
"Don't get mad, Ryl" Sebastian said.
"Erryl's..."
Cherryl shook her eyes at the window, her eyes also starting to sparkle with tears. Sebastian feels guilty, from the eyes of the girl he can feel a sense of disappointment and anger. Not the guy, but Cherryl was angry at himself. Sebastian thought, what is that pain compared to?
The guy's hand stretched out to grab the girl beside him, his chin he piled on the top of Cherryl's head that was much shorter than him, "Gue's sorry, don't cry."
"Gue's kidding, seriously. Didn't mean that. Sorry, huh?" said again.
The girl was still flinching in place, but Sebastian could feel Cherryl's body starting to shake due to irregular breathing, her shoulders also heaving. Bastian freaked out from seeing that.
"Don't cry, Dek. Oh." he said.
Suddenly Cherryl's two hands hugged her body tightly, the girl's cry grew bigger. Sebastian did not expect that the girl would be so offended by his words just now. But he just kept quiet because usually Cherryl will want to talk after crying. Sebastian just patted the back of the girl in his arms. Fortunately, the state of the cafe is quiet, people can mistakenly assume that they are a couple who are fighting, or even Bastian who is considered a guy is not right because it makes a girl cry to be so bothered.
Moments later Cherryl calmed down and took off her embrace, her swollen, reddened round eyes staring at Sebastian.
"Don't repeat it again." he said quietly, sounding soft and fragile. Sebastian felt more guilty.
"Yes sorry Babas, huh?" begingly.
Cherryl nodded, "Yes."
Sebastian's hand is stretched out again and justifies the girl's messy hairdo. After that he glanced at his coffee which might have been cold because it had not been touched since earlier.
"Seb," call Cherryl when Sebastian's just about to sip his coffee.
"Yes?" sahut the guy.
"Emmm...Not so, deh."
Sebastian looked at the girl who seemed hesitant to talk, until he finally chimed in, "Anyway, gapapa. Don't keep it to yourself."
Cherryl covered her lips, "Erryl was once said to be, first."
Sebastian's eyes grew, "Well, who's the same?"
"Silver class. He shot Erryl but Erryl refused. Tomorrow he even said Erryl was not worthy of him, Erryl ugly, short, not comparable to other beautiful girls. D-he..." Cherryl stopped her words to hold her breath as she felt like she was going to cry again.
"He said that Erryl was just a mur–" again the girl's words stopped, but because this time Sebastian pulled her back into the guy's arms.
Sebastian shook his head, "No, don't continue. Don't remember. Erryl is not. He's just mad at being rejected."
"Nobody deserves to talk to a girl the words are like that. Especially a guy. And let someone say it's the same with Babas. Gabby." added the guy again.
"I'm sorry I said that. I was just kidding." said Sebastian.
Cherryl just nodded her head in response.
"Don't cry. Let's go get some ice cream. Wanna?"

Cherryl's smile rose again and her eyes shone again as she stared at the pile of ice cream in the ice cream box. The girl's hand was busy picking the local ice cream flavor she wanted while Sebastian was in the selection of various yogurt for Laura's mother who was very happy with the fermented milk products.
"Well, just two?" sebastian asked when he saw Cherryl put two local ice creams into the trolley that the girl had brought him.
"Don't do much, Cherryl no more money" replied the girl innocently.
Sebastian laughed softly and put the bottles of yoghurt in his hand into a trolley and returned to the ice box to pick up two more local ice creams and put them in a wheeled iron basket in front of Cherryl.
"Gift to Erryl. Think of it as an apology." Sebastian said when Cherryl was just about to ask.
Of course, the girl is happy to agree with the words of her best friend. Besides, you can save money to buy others. To be honest, Cherryl was crying because he felt he was not a girl who was good enough in the eyes of others. He felt low and unattractive. The events of last time really stuck in his heart until now. For him, it was hard to forget such things. Sebastian's words were enough to lighten the burden he felt all along. Cherryl never told anyone about this, including Irina who used to be the host of all the girl's stories.
"Kok daydreaming?" sebastian asked when he saw Cherryl just looking forward with a blank look while the girl's hands were busy holding the ice cream Cornetto which began to melt.
Hearing that Cherryl immediately regained his senses and shook his head. He smiled, "Father, really."
"Still in mind, huh? Don't think about it anymore. It will be stressful" said Sebastian, who pushed the trolley after they left Hypermart.
Cherryl nodded, "Thank you, Seb."
"Make what? I even made you cry earlier. How come thank you?" said Sebastian.
"Thank you for talking about it. That means a lot to me." replied Cherryl.
"As long as you are concerned, so am I. And during Bang Angga gabisa keep you, I happily replace him too. It's like a little sister I never had, so don't worry and feel bad about me. We're together from childhood, aren't we?" sebastian said that made Cherryl lip smudge because he felt touched to hear it.
The girl is grateful. Hugely. Because God has been so good to her. Cherryl was not a girl who was active in organizing at school even though she was forced to eventually have to appear as a school ambassador, to be friends only potluck. It was not the girl who started the friendship. He just doesn't have enough confidence to socialize in the wider environment. Perhaps with those closest to him he can seem cheerful and open. But if you look again, Cherryl is not like that with others.
The girl just does not realize if she has her own charm that makes others like her. The spoiled and innocent nature of Cherryl never makes others feel uncomfortable or uncomfortable but on the contrary, people even feel very eager to protect the girl with such shoulder hair. Including Sebastian. Even since childhood the guy always considers Cherryl as a very fragile thing and can break and just crumble if injured.
Sebastian loved Cherryl. Not in the sense of a man to his woman, but an older brother to his sister. The guy never views the girl as a girl who can be used as a partner. He was too scared to even think about it. Sebastian is afraid that it will hurt Cherryl's feelings later if it does happen.
Never, or maybe not. No one knows what the future will be like.
