POV James

James was actually lazy to go to the palace banquet ball. Moreover, the debutant party, there will definitely be many women there. The woman who always makes him uncomfortable. Because once she enters the party there will definitely be many that Lady tries to tease her.

But who would have thought at the ball he even met with Deron, the hardest person to find among his friends. Intentions want to be alone to the balcony and instead meet and chat a lot of things with Deron, it makes James a little happy.

"I feel so stuffy here." Deron told James.

"Let's get some fresh air. I happen to want to smoke too." James then gives an answer that makes Deron happy too.

The two of them then chose a deserted path like a makeshift staircase to reach the garden beside the palace.

They sat on a bench and lit a tobacco cigarette.

The two of them then sipped a cigarette in the park and chatted lightly, until Deron suddenly bailed away because of business.

While James was still smoking a glance he saw the staggering Lady walking towards him.

"Another disruptor?" Mumbled James.

But James also will not bear to leave a Lady alone who is drunk, this park is quiet so it can be abused by people who intend bad to women, especially if he is unconscious because of drunkenness.

James was still smoking casually until the woman finally got in front of him.

The woman stood up but bowed, James who had sat down then stood up.

The woman was still silent yet to speak.

"Sister..." Call that woman down.

"....?" James was confused.

"I. I want to talk to you about something." The woman's voice was a bit hoarse, probably from crying.

"....?" James still didn't budge, he just kept quiet.

"I'm..." The woman looked nervous in James' eyes. He just love to duck.

"Sister. 10 years." The sound of crickets accompanies every talk of the woman.

"10 years I like you." The woman finally made a confession to him.

"!" James was just shocked.

"I feel like this is my last chance to tell you. So. I. I want to admit it tonight."

James can't believe anyone's liked him for 10 years and he's done nothing? thought James.

"I know I don't deserve you. So I just want to pray for your safety every day. I will also pray for your happiness, brother. I. hiks. "the woman is still talking.

'Unbecoming? is he from a low-class noble?'

James felt moved, for the first time he had a sincere confession. Because usually the Lady is just obsessed with him. But not this time. The woman even prayed for him very kindly and sincerely, demanding nothing.

James wondered who the woman in front of him was.

"Thank you for filling my heart for 10 years."

After those short words, the woman was drunk in front of him. Luckily, he was arrested by James. She then pulled her hair and found out the identity of the woman.

"Freya?" James said slowly.

Freya was unconscious.

"James?" His name is called, it's Deron. He came again, apparently he had put his leather wallet on the bench where they were smoking.

"Who is he?" Deron asked James.

"Frey." James said with a flowery face. He was very happy after learning the identity of the woman who had just expressed love towards him.

Deron was puzzled by James' unusual expression.

"Freya? Freya Westley?" Deron confirms the identity of the woman now in James' arms and unconscious.

"Yes." Yeah." James was still smiling while holding onto Freya's fainted body.

"He drunk?" Deron asked again.

"Yes, I'll drop her off in the break room."

Deron mangangguk, "Go."

James then carried Freya who was like an unconscious dead man to be brought into the palace. He will tell Freya in the guest room that has been prepared, if there is an incident like this.

Deron looked at James who was leaving while carrying Freya. "She's grown up and grown into a beautiful woman apparently." Deron muttered with a smile recalling the past.

Deron is also very fond of Freya, she used to be cute, cheerful and adorable. But after he entered the academy, they rarely spoke and became awkward with each other.

Perhaps on another occasion, Deron could chat with Freya. Deron then smiled and walked away from the park.
