Chapter 39 - DRAMA CASSANDRA

"So tell me, what makes you this way?" noah asked after successfully taking Cassandra out of the house.

An hour ago, Noah asked Tian for permission to let him take Cassandra away. Still do not expect if the lover gets a lot of pressure since he went to prison.

"Me?" ask Cassandra. Silence did not answer he lowered his head, his mind smiled happily because Noah was still looking for him. This time, he would use the man for revenge.

"Hiks..." Cassandra started crying, then quietly raised her head to look at Noah like a crazy woman.

"Darling, why did you become like this!" inner Noah felt sad to see Cassandra.

"Pa-pa, she locked me in the room for days," he sobbed.

"Why? What makes your father like that? It can't be without reason."

"Noah, you don't believe me?" Cassandra bowed lethargic.

"Not so, only I want to know the cause. It's not that I don't trust you, I always believe."

"Father locked me up because of Divine marriage and her lover. Papa thinks I'm gonna ruin their happy moments, when you know Noah? In my heart there's even your name!"

Noah felt guilty not being there when Cassandra was like that, then rubbed the smooth hand and apologized.

"Sorry, I'm not there when you need to! I'm..."

"It's Noah, it's all happened. They were like that because I came to the Divine office. I went there to ask you, I didn't know you were arrested. So worried, I went to Divine's office to ask you because your grandfather just went straight to the hospital" Cassandra explained.

Noah is speechless as to how he could marry Cassandra while her parents no longer approve of their relationship and hopes to break off the engagement soon.

"Why? You must be thinking the same thing with your family. You know, I can't do anything stupid behind your back. After all, Divine's wife was actually the conglomerate's granddaughter. If compared to me it might not be as high as the Divine wife who has everything and is perfect." Saying that word makes Cassandra's heart heat up if she remembers her father being so respectful to the Shain family.

"That? Where is it possible." Noah couldn't believe it.

"Maybe sa-," stopped when she saw that Noah's mother was already standing behind the son looking at Cassandra with a sharp gaze.

"Noah, what are you doing with this woman?"

"Ma, I can explain!" Noah said.

"Why should you explain, isn't it natural for lovers to meet each other?" cassandra asked with a frowning baffled forehead.

Mama Noah had her chest crossed, knowing that her son would find it hard to forget Cassandra. He knew, once he came home from prison, he did not meet his cousin just congratulate but instead prioritized meeting the drama queen and her future daughter-in-law.

Mama Noah took something out of her bag and then without warning flung onto the table. Right in front of Noah and Cassandra. Both are shocked.

"This, I..."

"Darling, what is this? You betrayed me?"

"It wasn't me, it could have been an edit. Auntie, please don't slander me in front of Noah. That from the beginning my aunt did not approve of our engagement. Auntie said enough, I'm willing to step back! But there's no need to do anything this ridiculous" Cassandra's alibi.

"Defamation? Those pictures are slander! Did you see Noah? Your lover is not only good at theatrics but he seems pretty stupid!"

"Look carefully at the photo, if you still think it's an edit. Mama's gonna send me the real video, or Cassandra herself will admit it before Noah sees the video?"

"You are what! Remember Noah, what kind of family are we? Does our family lack work to have to edit the video? Your woman forgot who she was dealing with? Mama Noah passes, upset that the son believes more in Cassandra than in investigating the facts.

"Don't you just say you believed in me?" ask Cassandra worried.

"Hm, huh? But I also need proof that what my parents said wasn't true. Cause the truth is, my condition of freedom is to break your engagement!"

Cassandra was stunned, she got up and was disappointed by Noah's words and just left.

"How is this, Noah was already starting to suspect! I can't possibly have a face to face with him, better avoid it from now on!" his inner hastily left, though inwardly hoping Noah chased after him.

Having just wanted to sit on the bed, Divinely's burly hand pulled him until Elen's body fell right above Divine.

"I'm sleepy, sometimes it's okay before we get busy with our respective offices" said Divine.

Divine rubbed Elen's cheek gently, "but why are you even constantly on top of me? what's comfortable like this, hm?" Divine smiled faintly.

Realizing that, Elen instantly changed position and laid down himself beside Divine.

"Div?"

"Hm."

"Ish, how about hm?"

"Call me, your husband! What can?" tawar Divine.

"That's too much, I'm ashamed." Elen.

"Hm, continues?"

"What's? Divine is enough! It feels weird that I call Mas, we're the same age!" push Elen firmly.

Divine scowl, "minimum call me dear."

"Darling?" ask Elen.

Elen sighed, inevitably he had to obey the Divine will. Although in fact, he was still so stiff as to call the man by the name of 'honey'.
