Along the way to Angkasa's parents' house, the atmosphere in the car was so quiet. Actually Dambi hates this stiff state the most. Space doesn't even say a word. The man's gaze continued to focus forward, like not assuming the existence of Dambi sitting next to him. Dambi himself was too lazy to talk to the man. Because he knew the edges they would end up with a debate, and of course the man was the winner.
Oh yea! Suddenly, Dambi remembered something. He did not bring any toiletries. The girl glanced briefly at the man who was busy driving beside her. He was lazy to talk, but he had to.
"What's wrong?" ask Angkasa without glancing at Dambi. He realized the girl was looking at him from the corner of his eye.
"Stop a little bit at that store. There's something I want to buy." said Dambi. The sky also looked in the direction that Dambi pointed with his index finger. Then he parked the car on the side of the road near the store designated Dambi earlier.
"Should I go with you?" this time he tilted his head staring at Dambi.
"No need." said Dambi directly and then get out of the car. Space simply shrugged his shoulders, then folded his hands behind his neck while leaning against the back of the chair. His gaze was straight ahead there, staring at the back of Dambi who had disappeared into the supermarket.
Space smiled to himself thinking of the girl. He did not deny that since he first saw Dambi, he was immediately attracted to the little girl. Otherwise, he might willingly come to pick Dambi up to the girl's house. That's not Space style at all. But just now, when his mother called, asked him to pick up Dambi and said the girl would stay in their house as long as her parents were abroad, Angkasa immediately agreed without thinking. Again because the girl is Dambi.
"Force?"
a woman with short shoulder-length hair greeted him from outside the car. The glass of the Space car was deliberately opened so that he could feel the fresh air at night. Angkasa, who had been focusing on his mind towards Dambi, tilted his head to the left.
It turns out that woman was Milka. Her hairstyle is different from the old days, when they were in college. Milka used to have beautiful long hair that can make men interested just by looking at her hair. But that certainly does not apply to a Spaceman.
Angkasa admits Milka is one of the kind and caring women. Motherly nature. Her face is also beautiful so many men who want to fight for it. But Angkasa never had more feelings for Milka. He simply regarded the woman as a friend. Not more. Otherwise, they've been dating for a long time. Milka loved it from the beginning. Never expressed love either.
Space smiled faintly to Milka. He was quite surprised to see the woman here. Milka herself looked happy. They had not met for a long time, of course he was happy to see the man he still loved.
"You alone?" ask Milka again. He only sees space. There was no one else around but pedestrians who took turns to enter the store in front of it. Usually if not alone, Angkasa is alone with Kevin. But the woman didn't see Kevin either. Milka looked happy. It was possible that he could use this rare opportunity to get closer to Space.
He did bring a car, but there was no harm in lying to be driven home by the man he liked.
"Mm, ka..if you're alone, can you take me home? I didn't get to take the car. I actually wanted to book a taxi, but I happened to meet you here. If you don't mind..." Milka kept staring at the space. Inwardly, he hoped that the man would agree. They haven't seen each other for a long time, and Space is getting handsome. Even more handsome than when they were in college. More mature and more heart-felt of course. It's a pity that Milka threw away this golden opportunity.
"Mm, here. I'm with my fiancee. But it doesn't matter. We can take you." said Angkasa. Didn't blame him for saying Dambi was his fiancee? They have been arranged. Getting engaged soon.
But those words instantly made the smile on Milka's face fade away. He still could not believe what he had just heard.
A fiancee? Is the space engaged? When's? He remembers some time ago Kevin said the man was still single. Why is there a fiancee now? The woman felt claustrophobic but still tried as much as possible in front of Space.
"K... Are you engaged?" the question is to make sure that what he heard was true or not. And Space nodded.
"Mm, that's my fiancee" said Angkasa then pointed to Dambi who finally came out of the supermarket. Milka stared at the girl who was appointed by the Space. The girl looked much younger than them. Her face was indeed beautiful but Milka felt that the girl was still inferior when compared to her. Where did Space meet the girl? Why did they get engaged? Or maybe it's the sister of Space. Angkasa could have just pretended that they were engaged. To avoid.
Next Milka saw Angkasa rush down from the car and take a plastic bag containing groceries in the girl's hand.
Dambi himself felt strange with the actions of Space. There must be something like this. The man even opened the car door for her to enter. Dambi looked at him astonished. How not, this man's behavior is very strange.
Then Dambi realized they were not just the two of them. There was another woman standing outside the car. Dambi doesn't know who that woman is, nor does she care. Maybe it's one of Space's ex-girlfriends.
"All that, baby? No one forgets, right?" the soft words are of course successful in making Dambi glare into Space. The man even dared to rub his head with a wide smile. What the fuck is this guy?
Dambi did not think. He did not know what Space to get until it turned strange like this. But it didn't take long for him to understand. Space deliberately treated her so surely because of the women out there. The girl grunted softly. Just deserve. They must be ex-lovers.
"Milka, are you coming home?" tanya Angkasa is getting ready to start the engine of his car. Milka who was still in a daze with her mind immediately shook her head.
"T.no need. I don't feel good bothering you guys. Let me take a taxi" said the woman, trying to smile.
"You sure?" Milka nodded quickly. He looked at Dambi for a while before finally turning away. The woman felt her heart hot. His chance to get closer to Space is now gone. He saw clearly the way Angkasa treated his fiancee earlier. Space has never been so gentle on women. It was the first time Milka had seen the other side of Space. The man was not as cold as usual. The sky used to be cold to all women.
