"When are you here?." David asked Soleha who was sitting next to him. When he woke up and spread his eyes across the room, there were only the two of them.
"You're awake?. Eat or drink or what?." Soleha asked what David wanted when he woke up.
"Please get me some water." David said as he woke up from feeling his throat so dry. Soleha poured drinking water into a glass and then gave it to David.
David immediately finished his drink in two gulps and handed the empty glass to Soleha.
"Who told you to come here?."
"Grandmother, grandmother asked me to come here to accompany you to finish the job. So that we can quickly return to our rented house."
"grandmother?."
"Hem."
David tried to remember before he was unconscious because of his claustrophobic chest. There was no one in her room at the time of the incident.
"So the nurse had delivered lunch, so you're eating now huh?." Soleha had prepared the food so David could eat right away.
David grabbed the blanket and crossed his legs over the gurney. She put her food in front of David.
"It must be the taste of the food is not good." Guess David and taste him a little.
"I'm helping you with a bribe?." Soleha offered herself while sitting on the gurney facing David.
David just nodded.
Food that had been very impossible could enter his stomach. But in the hands of Soleha quickly all the food was gone without any leftovers.
Every mouthful that goes into David's mouth is always accompanied by a sweet smile from Soleha in order to smooth the way of food. And it worked so well.
David immediately took the medicine that had been prepared by Soleha.
Soha tidied up David's eating marks and sat down next to David again.
"Said the Doctor who visited this morning, if there are no problems with your body and your wounds have gradually improved, maybe tomorrow you can go home." Saying that to him.
"You didn't ask me why I lied to you?."
"You must have your own reasons for lying. But whatever the reason is, it's a lie that still hurts." Answer Soleha.
"You angry?."
"What with anger can all go back to the initial state before you do the lie. I'm just disappointed, it turns out I'm not someone you can trust."
"Not so, I just.... " David's words have not all been conveyed because the sound of knocking on the door was accompanied by greetings from women who were very familiar.
"Assalamu'alaikum's chat... "
"Wa'alaikum... Grandma." David and Soleha answered.
The middle-aged woman walked closer to them so that their gazes could not escape from the Grandma.
Without waiting to be invited to sit by David or Soleha, Widya's grandmother immediately sat on the empty seat while reaching out because Soleha wanted to regret it.
Widya's grandmother ignored David's question, she instead looked at the shady face of Soleha who was more beautiful even though she looked very tired because of lack of rest for sure.
The two smiled at each other warmly and kindly.
"Sir, how does grandma know I'm here?." David holds Widya's grandmother's shoulder while asking the same question again.
"Rudi called grandma, because she was freaking out seeing you unconscious." Widya's grandmother replied, putting her hands on David's bruised feet.
"www...." David grimaced as the bruise was pressed tightly by Widya's grandmother.
"Nea don't like lying, say it's a lot of work but it's actually lying here. If you're all right what about me and Soleha?." Widya's grandmother's sobs slowly began to sound with a heart-pounding voice about her worries and fears.
"I'm sorry Nek, Leha. I didn't mean to lie to you, I just didn't want to worry you. But I'm wrong you know from someone else." David said full of regrets and apologies to the two precious women.
Finally David can finish the sentence that was cut earlier and answer the question from Widya's grandmother.
"Tomorrow I don't want to be lied to. So too with Soleha. Be open to any business lest there be any misunderstanding of poor communication between you. As bitter as it may be, honesty is still important to your household." Widya's grandmother gave advice to Soleha and David, especially the benefit of the grandson because of this problem.
"Yes, Grandma. I promise I won't repeat it again. For whatever I'm gonna be honest with my wife." David replies while looking at his wife's face is so soothing.
Widya's grandmother guarded David during the Soleha prayer at the hospital mosque. A lot of David talked about the incident that happened to him, of course, for this one David is still lying. Because she didn't want to make Widya's grandmother hurt more.
And for Soleha, maybe David will be honest if all his business with his motorcycle gang is done. But for now let him keep it to himself.
Grandma said goodbye because the driver was waiting for her in the lobby, when Soleha had returned from the mosque with a tentengan in the form of fruit and snacks for David and himself.
After getting permission from David, Soleha drove Grandma Widya to the lobby. Then Soleha returned to David's room when Widya's grandmother had boarded the car and left the hospital building.
When Soleha was about to enter David's room, there were already two men in the room. Soleha retreated her steps so as not to disturb those who seemed to be very serious.
From where he was sitting at this time, David sounded like he was giving orders to the two parents. Even though it was vaguely Solha could still hear it.
Not long after, the two men came out with very serious faces but remained friendly when they saw Soleha even slightly bowing her body.
"If your work is done, go to sleep!. You took the medicine, right?, you're not sleepy?." Soleha tidied up the pillow to make it comfortable for David's head and neck.
"Both are here?." Pinta David shifted her body to give place to Soleha.
She followed what the husband wanted and to please him so that what they did would be rewarded.
The two then lay face to face with eyes staring at each other filled with longing.
"I want to hug you."
Soleha moved closer to David so that he could be embraced by David easily.
"Warm." David's whisper in Soleha's ear immediately closed his eyes as the sigh greeted his body.
