Dear, My'Eve

Dear, My'Eve
PARAPLEGIA

Ernest was so solemn in his prayers and thank God so far smoothly, he was able to learn quickly because he meant it.

"Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..." Ernest looked to the right and left.

"Alhamdulillah," the murmur of Aisha's lips was so weak that it was almost inaudible.

Ernest had not yet realized that Aisya had begun to awaken, until he turned around----

"Oh God! Isya?!!" serunya. Soon Ernest pressed the button and called the nurse.

"Alhamdulillah O Allah!" the thrill of seeing Aisya, the girl pulled a little smile that felt stiff, understandably 3 days he closed without moving and opened his eyes.

A nurse came to the room, seeing Aisya's condition he immediately called the doctor and took medical instruments to perform a series of tests.

"Assalamu'alaikum my'Eve.." Ernest muttered Aisya's hand involuntarily so pleased. Aisya reviewed the smile while still trying to neutralize the condition of the function of her sense organs.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," he murmured softly. It's just that Aisya feels there is something strange with his body at this time, either because he just woke up from a coma or indeed because he just had an accident. Always, what was reflected in Aisya's memory was the last time she felt pain and the last breath of time while in front of the school gate, so sore, tight and sick.

Umi has re-entered, she is unceasingly crying grateful to see Aisya has woken up, even she told all family members at home including the husband.

"Try looking at my index finger, obviously?" asked the doctor by moving the index finger in front of Aisya's face, the girl nodded weakly.

"Clearly," he murmured.

In the corner there Ernest sat looking at Aisya, beside Aisya umi faithfully leading.

"There is pain, dizziness whack in the head?" ask her again. Aisya nodded, "dizziness."

"Sus, body temperature?"

"Slightly high doc," replied the nurse.

The doctor then asked Aisya to move her hand to see the motor response.

"Yes, great..."

Then it was her turn, the doctor again asked Aisya to move her legs. It was clear that the girl was trying very hard, no matter what happened there, Ernest now scrunched his forehead and approached Umi.

"Umi.." call Aisya.

"This is Ai's leg why?" her question frowned.

"Why?" asked Ernest impatiently.

Aisya began to panic, "Ai's legs are hard to shake. Not docks, not my feet?" ai asked back. The doctor looked at Aisya's leg, "try to move again, take a breath first and try slowly.." asked the doctor.

"Don't panic neng," said Umi rubbed Aisya's arm when in fact she was already panicking.

"Eunghhh-hh already doc, but how hard is it?" the answer grimaced almost with tears.

"Hey-hey, patience is okay.Perhaps the effect of coma or an accident," Ernest tries to calm Aisya who already seems frightened.

Fatimah's doctor then tapped Aisya on the knee and dripped water over Aisya's skin. But no response happened.

"Mom, can I have a word in my room?" ask the doctor about Umi.

Aisya and Ernest were not children who could be lied to or not understand the reaction of the doctor at that time.

"Umi," Aisya pensively looked at the umi bitterly. But Umi only commented on the warmest and most comfortable smile for her daughter, "for a while, umi wanted to talk to the doctor for a while. Nothing, Ai will not do anything," said Umi kissed Aisya's head behind her hijab.

"Ernest tipped Ai for a moment, umi wanted to talk to the doctor..."

"Each umi,"

The two teenagers stared at the departure of Umi and the doctor until it disappeared from sight, "Ernest how about me--"

"Suttt!" Ernest cupped Aisya's face.

"Do you doubt the power of God? Whatever happens is best for his people, how firm is our faith and piety, remember my'Eve?"

Aisya looked at Ernest closely, because Ernest was indeed close to him, Ernest's hand firmly grasped Aisya's hand as if giving strength.

"You don't realize 3 days you didn't miss me, Shay?" asked Ernest flirting.

"Your verse is the one that picked me home," Aisya replied with a stiff smile. Ernest chuckled, "those melodious chants of verse and a lot of harm, huh? Who riled you from your long sleep?"

The two chuckled, but shortly after that the situation was so awward, both of them fell silent. Ernest looked at the worried, frightened look from Aisya.

He showed his pinky in front of Aisya's face, "remember?! Will you accompany my hijrah? Will you always be here with me? Our promise in front of God's proof of greatness, you know!" Ernest smiled broadly, "no matter what happens!" steadiness.

"Ernest, you cannot believe the promise of man more than the promise of God. I don't want one of us to be sick because we are too hopeful when someone else can't keep a promise later, don't load a promise on the shoulder. Because if you have promised then you are already in debt," Aisya replied looking at Ernest nyalang.

"You mean? I'll keep my promise, Shay. Unless Allah wills me to die the day before you die..."

Aisya smiled hearing that, but why did she have such a bad feeling for what happened to her this time.

"Miss you so much, yes." Aisya returned smiling and blushing, preferring to look the other way instead of her cheeks getting redder, her net falling towards the red rose on the table beside her bed, "this?"

"I bring it, I change every day. Let your room be beautiful and fragrant, rich patient.eh rich patient waiter deh-umi!" ernest's laughter instantly got a sharp glare from Aisya, this was her that Ernest yearned for, teasing Aisya until this girl was jutek and angry.

The two simply stared at each other and held hands until two people entered Aisya's room, "ay Allah Ai!" teh Arin immediately hugged her youngest sister-in-law.

The Brotherhood was still cold towards Ernest, although not fierce and rejected Ernest's existence as before, maybe he needed time to accept the fact that his youngest brother had a fan, and someone who was close to him.

"Dek," the Brotherhood kissed Aisya's forehead after Arin released Aisya, "what earth?"

"Tell the doctor" replied Aisya.

"Oh Allah, be well." Arin hugged Aisha again, "alhamdulillah you are aware also Ai, but I am afraid, afraid you do not realize again," he cried again to remember the nightmare for 3 days experienced by all family members. While this room is enlivened by chat Arin and Aisya although sometimes Aisya is still loading against Arin.

"Tea, Ai is thirsty." she said.

"In the meantime, should be asked first with the same doctor as the nurse.can be given a drink with her..."

Ernest who had pushed back the chair earlier and kept his distance since the arrival of Aisya's two brothers spoke up, "get tea, but a little bit. Just use a spoon first..."

"Oh, yes. Thanks to Ernest." Arin smiled warmly.

"Yes," nodded Arin while feeding Aisya white water.

"*Paraplegia*, spinal cord injury affecting the lower limbs and pelvic organs, meanwhile my prediction."

"Astagfirefull!" Umi returned to tears. The heart of a mother who is not sick hears her child suffering from paralysis.

"It can be temporary, it can be permanent. Depending on the extent of the injury or trauma to his spine," again the doctor gave his prediction.

Man can only predict, although medical science is certain, nothing is impossible for God. If God wills, anything will happen.

"Oh Allah," umi sobbed strongly. What should he explain to Aisha.

"We will immediately conduct a series of tests on Aisya, to determine the seriousness of the injury. Then how to relieve the symptoms or cure and recovery."

"Will it heal, doc?" tanya Umi still can't believe that Aisya has paralysis of her lower half.

"I can't yet give you a description of ma'am, but." Fatimah's doctor looked at Umi and held her cooling hand, "nothing is impossible for God. We pray that the *ikhtiar* we are doing for Aisha will bear sweet fruit, Allah knows best for His servant."

Umi walked out of the doctor's room with a blank look with no direction.

"Umi," the Brotherhood immediately stormed the Umi when they saw the Umi coming out of the doctor's door.

"Thank you!" Umi cried hugging his first son, the Brotherhood who was initially shocked and did not understand at least understand, if something bad happened.

"Ai's paralyzed, Paraplegia.

"Astagfirullahaladzim,"

Umi's body was still shaking hugging the Brotherhood as the Brotherhood responded to the increasingly tight embrace of the mother who had given her to this world, "umi must say what is the same Aisya? Umi can't do it!"

"Mi, God would not merely lower his trials and trials if he were not to increase the faith and piety of his people. He did not give it beyond the limits of His servant's ability.lah lowered it, that means we are able to include Ai himself!" reply Ikhwan.

Umi unraveled her embrace, with her eyes puffy and her wet headscarf she nodded in agreement.

"We're going to the room, Aisya may be waiting for us..."

Apparently, Abi and Raudhah were there, Ernest and Arin were there. Now Aisya can even eat and abi is feeding her little girl. Aisya is a strong girl, proof that she can smile back and joke with abi.

Umi reflexively cries back to remember the chat with the doctor Fatimah, he chose to leave the room to make everything there astonished.

The glance of Abi's eyes suddenly fell on his son who now even looked down helplessly. The Brotherhood's throat was choked at that moment, unable to bear to see Aisya.

"In a moment, Abi wants to go out first to talk to umi." He handed a tray of food to Raudhah and went out after his wife. While the Brotherhood approached Aisya and joined there.

"You are as comfortable as hospital food!" cibir Brotherhood.

"Laper off! Bayangin only 3 days of fasting not open-open," he replied grumbling.

Ernest who both noticed the oddity just now, felt that he had to follow Abi Aisya. Ernest shifted his position.

"Nest, where are you going?" aisya asked aware of Ernest's position which was increasingly pointing towards the door.

"Emh, I go to the toilet for a while, I want to get ready for Ashar prayer first" he replied.

Ernest stops his steps when he finds abi hugging umi while crying, "umi has no heart! How would Ai react if she knew she was paralyzed, bi? Paraplegia!"

DEG!

Ernest flinched, "Paraplegia??" muttered.
