The lush trees are again visible from the side of the road. I'm trying to find a way that's easy to walk. The sunlight has radiated from the western horizon making the shadow of the trees slightly elongated.
“Riko are you carrying a gun?’’ I'm holding back the steps.
“Yes,” He took out a gun from his pocket then lifted it on his chest. “How about you?’’
“I didn't bring it.”
“Alright, then what about the plan?’’
“I will enter the building to make sure the situation. So, you just wait outside until I give you a cue to get in. What about the bullet?’’
“Full," he said quickly without hesitation. "I never wear it. Misya, don't you still suspect that Nanda is under Jara's influence? Are you sure this isn't a trap?”
“That's just my assumption, after all I don't have solid evidence of that yet, Even so, we do have to be careful. That's why I told you to wait outside, when I gave you the cue to break that door! Understood!”
Riko nodded.
When we were right in front of the house, we heard the sound of people talking from inside. Sigap I gave instructions to Riko to be quick to wait outside according to the plan.
“It looks like we have a guest,” said a woman I know very well.
Nanda who was standing not far in front of him held up a colt gun he always carried.
“You?’’ my eyes were wide open, my lips were trembling slightly.
“I've guessed for sure you know him?” said Nanda.
A woman wears sunglasses, her body small and graceful. Her hair was bob-style short, shaggy cut and it was jet black. However, this time he did not wear clothes when we first met. He slowly opened his glasses and said. "Yup, Tasya! Hotel receptionist. Hows it? Surprising right?"
In a dim room. The only sunlight coming from the large window was shining clearly on his face. Nanda who stood straight did not turn her gaze at all. My body that was so confident instantly wavered. My head turned back as usual.
Seeing such a sprightly Nanda I tried to block the door that was the only way out of this empty building. However, my right leg suddenly moved on its own as it blocked the door. What the hell's going on? Both my feet stepped on their own. I'm trying to fight. However, the violent shock further pressed my head.
“Indeed it should be, Misya. Don't block my path.” he said smiling.
“Misya, Are you okay?’’ asked Nanda who was still swiftly lifting the gun.
I'm nodding. “Entai why...my head suddenly dizzy? What do you mean it should be like that?’’ I tried to brace my legs that had already shifted two meters from the door. Jara just kept quiet not responding.
“Where are you going?’’ sergeant Nanda made Jara's steps stop when he opened the door.
“What! Is that something you need to ask?" His gaze was so annoying. "I'm leaving, didn't I tell you you couldn't kill me. Once you pull that trigger, I make sure, you will not only lose the information you are looking for at this time..You will also see the death of your colleague!” Jara's eyes glared sharply as she stepped towards the door. Jara's eyes shone sharply at me.
He out.
Nanda stood still, not struggling. His right hand that had been lifted up just now instantly collapsed together with his spirit.
“Riko is currently outside...," I said. "So, just calm down! I told him to follow Jar..” My words instantly stopped when I saw Nanda's tense face. “What does that look of yours mean?”
I gulped when I saw that expression he was displaying. His words and actions are quite opposite. His eyes were not smiling at all. Even so I felt like he was planning something.
Sure enough when Nanda held the old doorknob that suddenly the sound of a gun eruption sounded from outside. I tried to stand up hurriedly following Nanda who was already outside to ascertain what happened. Then, as we looked at the figure of the person standing in the courtyard of the building. His face grimaced in fear his left palm was flowing blood from a gun shot.
“Riko!” I screamed loudly, forgetting the time. “Jara! What are you doing!”
Riko looked grimacing in pain. I can confirm the gun's popping sound shot out his own palm, his breathing gasping violently. The ground where the stand was immediately moist because the blood that poured did not stop. His hair and face were flooded with sweat. He could only shake his already hollow left hand signaling pain. His roar was filled with horror, his eyes could not remain still.
"Ri-Riko, calm yourself down..." My voice stammered as I saw both of his legs tremble. His body was controlled by something. "You'd better throw that gun away!" I asked him slowly.
He did not respond to my words. Jara who was standing right next to him smiled faintly looking at me.
"Since when..why can Riko already be in his control," my lips trembled seeing what happened to Riko. "Double! Can you explain this what it means?'' my voice was so worried.
He doesn't seem to answer. Both of his eyes widened still unable to believe what he was seeing. I strode closer, Jara groaned, "Ugh" then smiled again. Then, he took turns looking at my face and Nanda's. Then his gaze stopped on Riko.
"I suggest you step back!" snapped it.
Riko directly stuck the gun muzzle right on the head right after Jara finished speaking.
"Misha! You better listen to what he says!" Snapped Nanda after being silent for a while.
"You're finally talking too." I retreated right next to him and looked at him who was still confused.
"What do you want to hear from me... Right now we can't do anything!" He looks angry and raises his gun to me. "I could have shot that rotten woman and taken her. But you and Riko are gonna have to die!"
"I?''
"You know why he's too calm right now? Though the muzzle of this gun has been pointed at him since?" He asked so loudly looking at me. "Even if I shoot him in the head and die. The curse of the papers will not disappear.... So, you better listen to what she wants!"
I was overwhelmed by confusion hearing his words.
"I don't understand what you're saying... Why should I die? Am I not in his control? Whatchu mean?"
"She, don't you understand yet. He he - he..." Jara who stood about ten meters away from us interrupted my question. "To be honest, I salute your partner!" He pointed at Nanda who was still sprightly with his gun. "Because he is able to make this game even more interesting.., well before I leave. I will explain a little to you what really happened. You know what happened to this guy?'' He shifted his index finger at Riko. "This man will really die if you or your partner comes near me. You know what I mean. His head's going to be hollow because of the gun you've prepared. Didn't you?''
I just groaned silently trying to think of a way to save Riko and then catch her.
"If you think you want to save this fellow of yours then arrest me. I'll just tell you. It's impossible!"
"Impossible? So confident? You think we'll just let you go? Most importantly you don't want to know what I'm thinking!''
"Haha.... Of course I know...." His laughter boomed then took out something from the bag that was on his back. "It!"
"Books? Who cares about that!" He took out Amelia Earhart's tome. It's just a different color. "What's? Don't tell me that...''
"You finally understand too? Is correct... You're the fifth book I've written" he smiled.
