Sunlight has always been a substitute for a frog's clock. Although a bit annoying in the eyes, but it is meritorious. Well, it all started with an incident in town. Everything's ruined.
Never mind, it's already happened. That's what my mom said. And about the kind sun, that's also my mother's teaching.
My mother was everything to me. Because, I only have a mother for now.
Right, I have to be a good boy. And can be hailed as good a man as the sun.
Me and mom, we used to live near the Indonesian City Hall. But after the creepy event, the apartment building was destroyed and until now my sister is still missing has not been found.
Mom said, my sister, Mila will be found soon. But either after days of still not finding us or we find Mila. After coming home later, as a good sister I will scold her like my usual scolding mother.
But it's not because of revenge. That's good intentions, right? That's what my mom taught me.
Now, my bed is tidy. I need to find firewood immediately. If I can't, I'll be left behind by my carpenter uncle.
Oh yes, after the city so messy with rocks and others. I don't know what it is. We have to evacuate first. And there's a carpenter uncle willing to accept us.
It was just a little hut for us to sleep in. But that's okay. I love the furniture there, a lot of new and never seen.
The mattress is just straw and cloth. But rather than on the floor, and suddenly your ear was entered by worms. I was scared when Mom said that. I certainly don't want to!
I lifted the bag made of woven bamboo, grafting it. And Uncle Woodworker called me.
Usually in the morning Uncle Woodworker will cut down trees in the forest near the hut for his crafts. And I will go with him to find branches or branches of wood as firewood.
My bag is bigger than my old school bag. And it opens like a big bowl, unlike my bag with the zipper. But I still like.
I began to pick up wood, and Uncle Woodworker used his axe to cut down trees.
We worked long enough, and it was getting a bit of daylight. Uncle called me to take a break to eat mother-made provisions. We ate while joking together.
I love the awesome stories from Uncle Woodworker. So cool! I'm happy if tomorrow's big can be as good and as good as him.
Another thing I like in the woods is .. butterfly!
I love chasing them, like now! I'll be a little far from Uncle, but it doesn't matter that I'll always find a way back. I'm good at marking tracks, you know!
Dad, it's far away. I'm proud to have a kid like me! I'm 9 years old, but I can do a lot. Mila must be proud to have a sister like me. I hope Mila is also good at finding tracks like me and coming home soon.
I paused for a moment to catch my breath. But the butterfly was gone, if I had wings too. The butterfly disappeared, and was replaced by fog.
I'm flustered. Before the fog got thicker, I immediately ran back to uncle.
But once I arrived, I immediately felt the same feeling during the attack incident. I felt that feeling running from my feet to the top of my own crown.
Uncle's stomach .. split. Fresh blood flowed slowly into the shoes the mother gave her. I didn't even dare to see Uncle's face.
I immediately ran away from there, my bamboo bag left behind. But I don't give a shit. I fear. I fear. I fear. I fear. I fear.
There was only fear in my head. All that comes into my head for now is mom. I have to see mom!
...**...
"What happened after that?" ask Lucy.
Miles was silent for a moment. "All the villagers, all hurt themselves."
"What exactly happened?" rendy muttered.
"We seem to have to tell this to coach Max." Lucy nodded in response to Rendy.
The four of them returned to Rendy and Lucy had first left. By holding each other so as not to be scattered.
"We have arrived" said Rendy after touching the tree.
It was the tree he met first before going on a walk looking for something. Luckily, Rendy marked it with a dagger. Until it can be recognized again.
"I hope it's just split up."
Rendy, Lucy, Miles and their mother continue to fumble through a truly perplexing situation. While Jack was still running around chasing something uncertain, just any running origin approached in the direction of the sound.
Lily of course was already overwhelmed and almost lost her breath several times. Jack's steps constantly increased his speed. Not sure what she was chasing, Lily just caught Jack saying something about a voice.
But Lily had not heard a single sound.
"Jack! Just stop! I'm tired, tau'!" lily finally decided to stop chasing. And Jack's back was devoured by the mist.
Jack kept running, and stopped at a rusty zinc-walled house. Jack immediately felt a familiar feeling of fear and horror.
"Hello, Jack." Someone appeared behind Jack, and Jack quickly turned his head back and took a few steps back with a jump.
"You!"
The man smiled, and his face was covered in mist. Jack took the stance of the horses, grasping tightly the hilt of his sword. Prepare to fight.
"During the meeting, huh?" It was like walking around Jack.
The swish! Wush!
Jack slashed, but there was only fog and fog. Jack was getting panicked and confused. He was sweating coldly, his sweat water had already dripped repeatedly from his temple.
"Have you lived a normal life?"
Jack shakes his sword more and more, but again only in the wind.
"You think because I can escape, I'll just give up?"
"Yeah!! I'm not afraid of you! Get out of you, asshole!" jack sighed the fire at his sword.
Some of the fog evaporated and finally a slight silhouette appeared in between. Jack immediately darted swiftly in that direction, unsheathing his sword at his best speed.
"Jack!!" yelled a girl. And Jack just realized that the shadow is Lily.
Lily held Jack's sword with her chain of weapons. Lily looked so confused, so did Jack who immediately looked around her paranoid.
"Where is that guy?" jack asked in a trembling voice. Lily frowned.
"What person do you mean? From then on there were just the two of us. What's the matter, Jack?"
Jack rubbed his face. His body was limp, but he was at once relieved to be able to escape from that person.
"You can't escape the past and I, Jack .." whispered the voice of the man echoing in Jack's ear. Jack was scared again. Lily gets confused and wonders.
"The man's voice, the man! That guy! That guy again!" racau Jack curled up with a great tremble. He held his head, his head felt like it wanted to break considering everything.
"Hey, hey! What's up, Jack?" Lily crouched down and held Jack's shoulder.
Lily was silent for a moment. Honestly, he was very surprised to see Jack's face first like this. A jolly face, which now looks foreign because it is filled with fear.
"Jack, what sound? I don't understand, I didn't hear anything, really." Jack did not reply, he kept repeating his words regarding the voice of the 'man' who did not know who it was.
Lily looked around, but there really was no one. There was only endless fog. Even the sound was just the sound of the wind and the sound was like a broken cassette, from Jack.
Jack looks worse. When he reached the top, Jack stood up and held his sword straight towards his neck. Lily stands up and tries to snatch Jack's sword.
"Hey! You're crazy, aren't you!?" lily's screams were shocked not playing.
The two teenagers tugged at each other, Lily repeatedly shouting. Lily realized Jack was being affected by magic. But the energy was so subtle and gentle that it was almost imperceptible.
Until Lily's voice was hoarse, Jack still wanted to stick his sword into her neck. Lily's getting desperate. He was very afraid that Jack would really hurt himself.
