DIFFERING
The Chap 47 (Flashback)

...Whatever decision you make will be right, as long as you can survive until this moment. ...

Amidst the boisterousness of the sea of men, Varo fell silent. Look at every step that passes through it. Sitting alone on a bench not far from the area between the hall and the mosque makes it free to observe every activity of the children of rohisa who are busy preparing the event of the israel' mi'raj for today.

"That's not really you guys" Varo muttered. With memories that once existed. Where when he was hostile to Zoya's activities during the event of the prophet first maulid. Also where when Reihan examined him when he wanted to meet Zoya in the mosque at that time. And, everything is just a memory. After Zoya graduated a few months ago, everything changed. His habit of watching Zoya secretly also never did the child. The master is no longer there.

"Assalamu'alaikum."

Varo nodded, then smiled when he found who had just said hello. "Wa'alaikumsalam Ustadz."

"Whenever here? Later kesambet loh bengong semdirian."

"Well, it can't be Ustadz. Em-sitting Ustadz."

Ustadz, whom Varo had met, sat next to him. "Cook over here Ustadz. Why don't you go straight up to the hall?"

"You'll meet with you first. I saw myself here."

"Hehehee...There is no such thing as Ustadz. On busy all."

"Why don't you come with them in? It would not be a sin, would it be if I were to lecture?"

Varo frowned, it seemed quite interesting. Rather than him sitting alone was not as clear as this. "Emang, can Ustadz? I'm not-emm, Ustadz must know what I mean."

"Yes I know. If you are in religion, then come on! We do not forbid for other people to hear the lecture. Even in Allah, you will be guided, amiin."

Varo was stunned, staring at the two Ustadz neutrals that seemed to bewitch him. There was a strange shiver inside that made her lips pull a sweet smile. Then he nodded his head while moving from his seat. "Come Ustadz, than I die of boredom here."

Varo did not expect that Ustadz would carry a story relating the name of his Lord Jesus. But here they call him Prophet Jesus. But instead of being bored or offended, Varo was more enthusiastic about listening to everything Ustadz had to say.

"Actually, I want to tell you about the Prophet Muhammad when he got the five-time prayer revelation. However, because I wanted to tell the story about Jesus being lifted into the sky by Allah SWT, I changed my mind. Later on, if there is time we all the stories about the Prophet Muhammad got the first revelation."

"Then a group of Jews went to a house in which there was Prophet Jesus with some of his companions. They surrounded the house. When Jesus said to his companions..."

"Who among you would want to be forgotten like me? He'll be my friend in heaven."

"Then go forward a young man who is willing to play the role of Prophet Isa. But Jesus saw that the young man was still unsure of doing so. Then he repeated his request."

"But every time he repeated his words, no one dared to go forward except the young man. Finally Jesus said..."

"If so be you like me."

"Then Allah made him look like Prophet Isa as, as if he were Prophet Jesus himself."

Ustadz paused his lecture, staring at the figure who was watching him seriously. A smile on Ustadz's lips rose at a glance.

"Then opened one part of the roof of the house, and Jesus was struck by a deep sleep, and he was lifted up into the sky in such a state. As mentioned in his Word:

إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ

It means: (Remember) when Allah says, "O Isa, verily I will put you to sleep and lift you up to Me." (Ali Imran: 55), to the end of the verse."

"After Jesus was lifted up into the sky, his companions went out. When the Jews saw the young man, they thought of him as Jesus, and it was night, and they caught him and crucified him and put thorns on his head."

"The Jews made it clear that they were the ones who had tried to crucify Jesus and they were proud of it.

{وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ}

That is to say: they did not kill him and did not (after all) crucify him, but (whom they killed was) the one whom Isa had likened to them. (An-Nisa: 157)"

There, Varo was stunned. Like being in the middle of a bridge that is almost broken. On the left side, he could see there was a flame burning. On the right side he could see the waterfall so clear.

“None of the People of the Book, except to believe in him (Isa) before his death. And on the day of the apocalypse, Isa will be a witness against them.” (QS. An-Nisa’: 159)

Everything shifted attention as the heavy voice interrupted while raising its hand.

"Ustadz, may I ask you a question?"

Ustadz was smiling. Then nodded his head. "Yes, of course I can. Please!"

She-Alvaro genandra got up from her seat. At his place he was seen glancing. Many students whispered softly. It was strange to see him there.

"Sekian, thank you Ustadz." Varo sat back down. Without knowing, outside the hall was a pair of neutrals watching him from earlier. With a difficult look to read.

"Thank God, thank you for asking. Good question."

"Al-Hasan says that Allah has raised Isa to Him, and He will send it down before the Day of Resurrection to occupy a position where all those who fear Him and all those who disobey believe in him."

"Ibn Zaid said that when Isa ibn Maryam came down again to earth, he would kill the Dajjal. There will be no Jews left except to believe in him. Wallahu A'lam."

In that instant, Varo felt that a heavy object had slipped from his chest. Feels light. Until the lecture of Ustadz who increasingly turned the topic towards the beginning of Islam was disseminated by the Prophet Muhammad. Where the first time the Prophet Muhammad got a revelation until he met God through the seventh heaven.

All that, made Varo remember the green book he bought first. Which is neatly stored in his closet. He did not touch or open it since his sister threatened to burn the book he had bought.

...)(...

The young man closed the thick book he had just finished reading for one week. Moving to his bed and then lay down the body there. "Why is getting here getting stronger."

"Why lo?!"

Varo nodded, looking at the figure of Vero who was on the doorstep. "Home home yet?"

"Udah. Just now."

"Still in the room?"

"Hm."

Vero's forehead frowned. Squinting at the thick book that Varo had just read was on the desk. Until his steps he brought closer, so that what he saw was true. "Lo, read this again?!"

Deg

His heart seemed to jump from its place. Until a mainstay grin avenged the spotlight of intimidation that his sister gave. "Varo Javab! Lo, read this?!" yelled Vero as he lifted the green book.

"Yes. I read that. Wh why? Getting angry? Just angry! Right to read anything."

"Var! I don't know what's on your mind right now. But please, don't even think about converting!"

"But sorry, if that's my mind."

Silent. The clockwork there was constant ringing. Makes Vero's body completely freeze after what was ejected from his brother's mouth. "Lo, don't really think about converting, do you, Var?!"

"If I can be honest, the more I come here, the more confident to learn more about what Islam is."

Prangs!

Both are spontaneous. Found Miranti's figure with broken glass scattered on the floor. And that moment, was the beginning where their relationship began to erode.

The sound of heavy breathing from Varo made Zoya unable to bear it. Even his pale face was getting more and more pronounced. It has been an hour he was trapped in the VVIP Cafe lantern room in front of the office. As promised, Zoya comes to see Varo. Without her expecting it, Varo tells her frankly without Zoya telling her to.

"Not to be forced. I also do not want to make you remember it all again," said Zoya while giving lemon tea that she has not been drinking to Varo.

After drinking a little lemon tea, Varo again stared fixedly at Zoya with a gaze full of wound signals. "What was my decision wrong?"

Zoya shook her head repeatedly. "No. The decision you have taken will never be wrong if you are sure from the beginning. Until this point, you still survive. So, everything's right. There's nothing wrong. All you need now is time. For them to accept your decision."

There was a long silence before Zoya asked again. "Then, what about after that?"

"Ah, there's no need to continue if you make it"

Zoya's words were cut off when Varo re-opened his voice. He told a story he had passed. And until now it will remain a full-fledged fairy tale that will love grief. Until this point, he was able to survive.
