Discernment

Discernment
Ch 1's. Promises

“You don't be sad so dong, darling!” gandhi said to his gloomy-looking lover.

Ayara did not care at all about her lover's words. Because Gandhi had just said that the man would return abroad because his vacation was over and would return to his lecture routine again.

Ayara and Gandhi have been in a relationship for two years. Unfortunately they undergo long distance relationship or in other words Long Distance Relationship. However, their relationship seems durable until now. petty fights that sometimes occur in their relationship do not make their relationship tenuous.

Ayara, who is currently studying undergraduate education and soon to graduate, patiently waits for the promise of the lover who will marry her when Gandhi completes his S2 studies one more year, if there is free time or on vacation, Gandhi always comes home to meet his lover, Ayara.

Gandhi only rubbed his face violently when he saw the face of his lover bent like that, and this often happens if he said goodbye to go back abroad.

“I promise, two more months will go home. I will try to also often go home, so that we can meet.” Gandhi said after finding the idea not to make his lover sad again.whether he can keep his words or not, the most important thing is to try to make Ayara happy first.

Sure enough, Ayara immediately sparkled after hearing Gandhi's speech. Not even reluctant to the woman directly hugged her lover. Gandhi himself seemed relieved to see the attitude of Ayara who was no longer sad.

“Yes already, you better go home first. It is night, later Mama and Papa you are angry if you know this most beautiful daughter comes home tonight.” Gandhi said while gently rubbing the top of Ayara's head.

Ayara nodded her head. After that, he drove home in his own car. Because Ayara and Gandhi had a relationship without the knowledge of their parents. His father did not seem to like Gandhi. So they always hide when they meet.

Gandhi himself did not dispute that, because he still did not have a permanent job. He studied abroad as well while working at his Omnya company. Because it's just the family he has. Maybe if later his education is finished, and his work is well established, then he dared to meet with Ayara's parents. By proposing to him.

Ayara waved her hand at Gandhi as she just got into her car. After that, he drove his car home.

Ayara arrived home at nine o'clock in the evening, according to her it was still a reasonable time, compared to her friends who came home dating her lover above nine o'clock at night.

“You know what time it is, Ay?” asked Mirza, The Papa who is now sitting on the sofa with a cold look on his daughter.

“Still nine o'clock too, Pa. Is something wrong?” Ayara replied completely unaffected by her Papa's cold gaze.

After answering her Papa's question, Ayara rushed up the stairs, entering her room. But again his steps stopped when he heard the voice of his father who was still laden with angry tones.

“Aya, you are a girl. It's not natural for you to come home tonight like this. let alone just to meet a guy like him.”

Mirza clearly knew that some days Aya often came home at night because her son was always meeting men who did not like her. He once told Aya not to get close to Gandhi. But it turns out that Aya secretly met with Gandhi without her knowledge.

Ayara herself who was initially surprised because her Papa learned of her meeting with Gandhi, now turned her body to look at her Papa with a look no less cold as well.

“Pa, I'm an adult. I'm twenty-two years old and not a child anymore, can you not limit my association. I can still tell which is good and which is not. And Gandhi is a very nice man, -“

“Enough! You dare to argue with Papa?” sahut Mirza did not accept the words of his daughter.

Ayara is getting upset. He no longer chimed in on his father's words. And then continued his steps back into the room.

Brakkkk

Ayara slammed the door of her room quite loudly, and could still be heard clearly by Mirza who was still faithfully standing under the stairs.

“Mas, it's already night.it's better we go to bed soon.” Devina approaches her husband after witnessing a debate between her daughter and her husband.

While Ayara who just entered her room with a feeling of annoyance, she threw her bag in any direction just like that. After that she contacted her best friend to pour out her heart at this time.

As usual, if you are upset, sad, or happy, only Lissa is the place where Ayara leans. Ayara pours her heart out to her best friend, including about her meeting with Gandhi recently.

Lissa herself always gave Ayara wise advice. Because she also knew that Ayara always wanted to be heard.

Seteah satisfied to do a confiding session with his best friend, Ayara feeling a little better. He ended his call and immediately rested.

The next morning Ayara woke up from a good night's sleep. He checked his phone. How surprised Aya when she saw a lot of messages coming in from Gandhi, as well as some missed calls.

Ayara did not read Gandhi's message, but chose to contact the man directly, but Gandhi's phone was not active. Then Aya read one by one Gandhi's message.

“Darling, can we meet this morning? Before I go back to LN?”

“Darling, sorry I had to hurry back because Om asked me to come home soon.”

“Honey, are you still sleeping?”

“Ya. Sorry to interrupt your time. One hour from my plane take off. I'm waiting at the airport, huh?”

“Honey!”

“Honey! Sorry, I'm leaving first. I promise I'll come home often so we can meet.”

Ayara read the message sent by Gandhi at six this morning and now she saw the clock on the wall of her room showing at eight.

“Jeez!! I could have woken up this afternoon.” regretted Ayara and returned to lay her body on the bed.

His heart was immediately filled with sadness when he could not meet Gandhi again. Or rather drove her lover back abroad.Ayara finally lazily went into the bathroom to wash her face. After that, go down for breakfast.

Upon arriving at the dining room, Ayara saw that her Mom and Dad were also having breakfast. While Ansel, his younger brother had clearly left for school since this morning.

“Good morning, Pa Ma!” ayara's greeting to both her parents.

Mirza just smiled faintly looking at her daughter. Want to regret anything to Ayara, Mirza still loves him very much.
