DASW CHAPTER 27 - Falling And Staircases
Anna came out of Anton's room.
Like fate was on her side, at the end there Anna saw Maura who was walking with 2 nurses. Every now and then Maura smiled kindly, greeting the hospital residents.
And seeing Maura's laughter Anna screeched, how could someone who had harmed others live such a happy life?
But consciously having no solid evidence, Anna was finally only able to reply slowly.
Anna now regards Maura as her enemy. Because Maura had dared to conspire with Anton to harm Pricilla. Making Pricilla nauseous until finally she was blamed.
Anna started walking, taking the road on the other side of Maura until they ended up meeting each other.
While about to pass each other Anna did not look down respectfully, she still raised her face even accidentally hit Maura's arm strongly.
To make the beautiful doctor staggered and almost fell.
"Ups! I'm sorry doctor Maura, I didn't mean it" Anna said with lips that carved into a smile, not feeling the slightest guilt.
"Do you have eyes or not?!"
"Sorry doctor Maura, I'm in a hurry, because Tissa just said if Pricilla has nausea, I have to check it immediately," replied Anna lying. Wanted to see the happy face of Maura who thought her plan was working.
And sure enough, after Anna said that there was no more anger on Maura's face. Maura was instead seen smacking a smile, then hurriedly went towards the direction of Anton's room. The two nurses followed. Leaving Anna who was chuckling softly.
"Stupid," he said among the rascals.
Satisfied enough to see Maura's stupid face, Anna immediately headed for the IGD. As long as Pricilla is under Danu's supervision, she will serve other patients.
In Anton's room, Maura immediately told his colleague about Pricilla's current condition.
With passion he said if their plan worked.
But the smile on his face slowly dissipated upon seeing the response Anton gave. Anton's face was red.
"Doctor Anton, why look at me like that? our plan worked" Maura said once again.
And Anton was so furious, he looked more and more at Maura sharply.
"Anna already knows everything, she already knows if we put nausea drugs in Pricilla's food. So which plan worked?" ask Anton.
A question that made Maura tick.
"Anna knows?"
"Yes, he knows."
"But that was ..." Maura did not continue her words, she recalled her meeting with Anna a few minutes ago. Remember the moment Anna deliberately hit her body, remember the time Anna smiled sinlessly, then remember Anna's lips were smiling slanted.
Remember it's all Maura knows if Anna is just playing him.
Brazen, how dare he play tricks on me. Inner Maura, he clenched his hand tightly.
Then without excuse he came out of Anton's room. Until outside, his phone rang, continuing to clink without pause as if there were successive messages coming into his phone.
Maura took her phone roughly in her doctor's suit pocket, seeing there were many incoming messages in whatsapp groups of doctors and nurses-only hospitals in the IGD room.
Curious Maura opened the message and immediately saw a photo of Alam and Anna in the hospital parking lot at night. In the photo it is clear, if Anna and Nature look at each other.
Like falling and being hit by a ladder, Maura's annoyance at Anna became more and more multiplied.
"She's really wrong with dealing with me!" furious Maura.
