Dragon and Phoenix
Chapter 6: Run

Cio San felt like he really enjoyed being at the top of this Bu Tong-san. The view is so beautiful. The very fresh air makes it a spirit of training and learning. He began to develop new knowledge again.

He went around the forest around there. The forest is full of animals that can be hunted. Long looking, it did not feel Cio San was far from his hut. Hunting deer like this requires patience and patience of its own. It was fortunate that every student of Bu Tong-pay had been taught to hunt animals since the beginning of their entrance into college.

“Lopek, danger sign already sounded. We should have gone there. There are Bu Tong-pay students who need help,” said Cio San.

"Trust me, Cio San. I'll explain everything,” replied A Liang.

They continued to run but not long after, they passed by dozens of Bu Tong-pay disciples who climbed to the top of the mountain.

Apparently 2 people from 4 Tianglo Bu Tong-pay himself led the group. Oey Tang Wan whose face was friendly and patient, and Yo Ang whose body was small yet poked-eyed.

A Liang himself was a bit behind so Cio San had to slow down his run to be with A Liang.

At the top of the mountain, there was a terrible sight. A body separated from its head. It's right in front of the hut. It is still not known who the owner of the body was ill.

When approached, obviously. That's Tan Hoat's body!

All screaming was full of shock. Cio San who had just realized what had happened and whose body it was, immediately fell down and cried. Gihu at once his temperature was indeed very dear to him. He was crying and wailing. Calling his gihunya name.

“Temperature...

Temperature...” Only that could come out of his lips. With those tears

it flows down both of his cheeks.

All

the people who witnessed this incident were even sadder. Indeed, anyone who

seeing events like this and not crying, arguably not human.

“A Liang do you know what's going on here?” search Yo Ang.

“No, Tianglo...,” A Liang replied.

“Aren't you two the only ones up here? Why can't you know? Why are you running hastily down the mountain?”

A Liang could not answer anything. He just fell silent.

“Come answer!” yo Ang.

Next, “Or don't you have something to do with this murder?!”

His hand has begun to expand, there will be a move that he put out through this hand.

“Trust me, I have nothing to do with this all, Tianglo.

The mood began to tighten. Oey Tang Wan, the most patient of the four Tianglo Bu Tong-pay then said, “Murid-student Bu Tong-pay, you split up. Find out if there's anyone else on this hill. Not even the end of the grass do not let you not be tormented. Let's carry out!”

As soon as the command came out, all the disciples there moved in brief.

While Yo Ang said, “A Liang, you stay here until all the disciples return again.”

The students are looking for. Nearly an hour they spread out and checked, not a single clue they found.

Angrily Yo Ang shouted, “Come, A Liang! Quickly say!! Why did you run down in such a hurry?!”

Seeing A Liang silent, the anger of Yo Ang peaked. He then attacked Bu Tong-pay's cook.

And what was astonishing was, A Liang could dodge the attack just by

one movement.

Increasingly angry Yo Ang, launched the moves of Bu Tong-pay. His attacks are getting bigger from style to style. But all of them could be avoided by A Liang.

“Tell me who you really are!!! Why can a cook like you avoid my punches?”

This sentence was uttered along with dozens of great blows. Yet A Liang continued to avoid it.

The disciples of Bu Tong-pay who were astonished by this incident, did not dare to help Yo Ang. Because they knew, that their assistance in such a level battle, would only mess with the person they were helping.

Seeing the greatness of A Liang in avoiding the moves, Yo Ang began to issue the mainstay of Bu Tong-pay. Those great moves, though soft, are actually very violent.  A Liang however, ended up being pressed, as he never retaliated or repelled a single blow. Thio Sam Hong's compositions were so great, that A Liang was finally pushed on. He just dodged and avoided.

In addition, more and more disciples who came from below filled the mountain and closed A Liang's space. Even one of the disciples from under the mountain brought a new piece of news that was extremely shocking.

“Tianglo, Kam Ki Hiang's grave has been uncovered. Even the body is now gone.”

Hearing this shocked everyone. If A Liang claims not to have killed Tan Hoat, will Kam Ki Hiang's spirit rise from the grave and now avenge him by killing Bu Tong-pay's disciples?

This kind of thought arose in Yo Ang's mind, so he somewhat relaxed his attacks.

But after thinking again, he felt his theory of the spirit of revenge was far-fetched. He was even more convinced that A Liang had something to do with the incident. His attack was increasingly violent, until one day he issued the style of flagship Bu Tong-pay ‘Dragon Asks Moon’.

This move was so great that those who watched the fight alone could feel the wind of its blow. A Liang had already been pushed back so there was no way out anymore, because behind him, Bu Tong's disciples had surrounded with a sword blow.

He was waiting for that blow.

Just when the punch was about to hit his chest, someone parried it.

But not A Liang or Oey Tang Wan!

Though supposedly, only the two of them are the most capable of his knowledge to fend off

that blow.

In fact, the stalk was actually done by Cio San!

Even that stalk was able to make Yo Ang throw several spears and spit out

Everyone was shocked. Didn't expect such a small child to be able to fend off the powerful Dragon Asking Moon’ punch. Moreover, it can be up to knock Yo Ang and hurt him.

Cio San himself was shocked by the results of his actions earlier.

The dozens of disciples that were there became ferocious. In their minds, Cio San who had dared to injure Tianglo Bu Tong-pay, must have also dared to kill Tan Hoat. They simultaneously attacked together.

The bewildered Cio San accepted this attack, already close to resigned to his fate. Unexpectedly, A Liang pulled her and carried her flying. This movement was so fast that it made everything in it go astounded.

The two of them fled down the mountain.

“Come pursue!” the Oey Tan Wang. They all ran after the two men. A Liang's movements turned out to be very fast. No one suspects it. It was like flying down those steep mountain cliffs.

The chase continues. Cio San was even carried on A Liang's shoulders. He heard A Liang say, “Trust me, Cio San..”

Cio San really wanted to believe in A Liang. When the incident was on the cliff, his brain was thinking. Was A Liang the one who did all that? Kill the temperature, Tan Hoat, in a cruel way, then invite him to run down the mountain before ‘ caught’ the group of students Bu Tong-pay who went up to the top?

Seeing the fact that it turns out that A Liang hid his silat abilities for decades. Whatdoes thatmean? Has A Liang been Bu Tong-pay's enemy spy all along? Or did he intend to infiltrate Bu Tong-pay to steal knowledge? But realizing the fact that A Liang had been living in Bu Tong-pay for almost half a century, Cio San still could not understand it. The thought of a child as small as Cio San who could reach that far was a real oddity. There are many intelligent children living among humans.

And as he sees A Liang being attacked continuously by Yo-tianglo without retaliating, Cio San's heart starts to whisper that A Liang has spoken the truth. The whisper of the heart also told him to move to fend off Yo Ang's devastating attack on A Liang.

Even Cio San's own dream never thought, that the effects of the tank could be that big. At that time, he moved spontaneously and just followed the heart. The results of the new training moves his creation was seen very clearly. He himself was astonished. Even though his attempt to fend off the blow was accompanied by the intention of sacrificing himself. He knew that he could not fend off the blow. That he would surely die. But reality says something else. Yo Ang himself was thrown and vomited blood.

His trust in A Liang also caused him to be taken away by A Liang. He wants to know what really happened. There must be a secret behind it all. Especially when it was heard the news of Kam Ki Hiang's grave had just been broken into by people. The incident at the top of Bu Tong-san must have something to do with the theft of the corpse.

And

if A Liang is the culprit, why would he wait until 50 years just to

stealing the body. Every time he could do it.

Cio San was also aware, that his action of fending off Yo Ang's punch and accidentally injuring him instead was a grave offense. This is what caused him to be almost beaten by dozens of Bu Tong-pay disciples earlier. In such a pinched state, there was no other way but to temporarily escape.

The escape was felt for a long time, even though A Liang was already like flying. The pursuers are no longer visible. Only the echo of their voices was heard.

Once you get to college, you already see many students of Bu Tong-pay who are on standby. Those waiting below still do not know what happened. The voice and screams from above that ordered the disciples to capture A Liang and Cio San were also not heard clearly.

The shocked disciples, only saw the shadow of someone flying without being able to clearly see his face. Some try to block, some are sitting dumbly still. They had only heard the voices of the pursuers who ordered to capture, when the shadow was already far from reach.

It's all too late. The shadow was very fast, it had even come out of Bu Tong-pay's front gate. Gate Without Weapon. So named, because whoever the guest who enters Bu Tong-pay's front gate, must not carry any weapons.

A few hundred spears from that gate, there was a very dense forest. A Liang chose to enter it, although there was often news that the forest was very haunted. Even the disciples of Bu Tong-pay alone, rarely would anyone dare to enter that forest.

After entering the forest, A Liang took down Cio San, then said, “Cio San, thank you for helping me. Trust me, I have nothing to do with your temperature's death. Instead I came with your temperature looking for you.”

“What's Lopek and Temperature looking for me?” ask Cio San.

“I can't answer now. It's a complicated issue that can't be talked about in passing. Now this may even the trees can hear,” replied A Liang. Next, “Let's find a safe place to talk about it.”

Cio San nodded in understanding. Facing these kind of secret matters, he clearly understood. He experienced this when he was a child. When his parents were slaughtered. Now he is silent and no longer wondering.

They both entered the forest while running. Soon, it became dark and the night came. Sayups still heard the voices of the pursuers. From afar they were seen lighting torches.

The two refugees still ran even though it was not as fast as before. “Never stop, Cio San.”

Suddenly after saying that, A Liang fell face down. “Ah, the poison has already spread..” A Liang said softly.

“Lopek poisoning? Since when? How could? Is it because of food?” cio San asked in a panic.

“When we were almost ganged up, someone threw Am Gi (secret weapon) onto my back,” A Liang replied weakly.

“No shame. There was a student of Bu Tong-pay who did such shame.” Cio San was furious. Supporting the opponent is a shameful act among Kang Ouw, only appropriate for the (black). A straight party like Bu Tong-pay strictly forbids such means.

“Let me check the wound, Lopek.” In such a dark forest in the middle of the night, where could it check for wounds? Not even seeing your own hands can.

“In my pocket there are flint, Cio San.” Indeed a cook is not far from knives and fire.

After starting the fire, Cio San then checked A Liang's back. He asked A Liang to take off his shirt to check more freely. No need to look for long, because the back of A Liang who was exposed to poisonous weapons had looked very blackened. The deep black. Then right in the middle of that blackened piece

there was a single silver dot that reflected light from the fire held by Cio San.

“Hmm...Toxic needle...,” murmured.

“I can pull out that needle with my energy push, Cio San. Watch out, you don't get hit,” said A Liang. After Cio San took a safe position, only A Liang took out the needle with a push of his own power.

Why not just since then, A Liang took out the needle this way? That was because he had to exert all his energy to run like flying. In this world, perhaps only A Liang could run like that. And it requires a great deal of energy. Plus, he had to use chi to protect himself so that the poison would not spread widely.

If A Liang was 40 or 50 years old, maybe his struggle with chi like that would be very easy. But he is now in his 70s. Any silat expert will definitely experience a decrease in energy. Moreover, perhaps during these decades, A Liang had never trained or guarded his chi.

Cio San, who knew a lot about healing and medicine, tried with all his might to remember what actions he had to take. In the midst of events like this, left dead one of the loved ones, then accused of being involved in the death, then chased, then had to cure the poison as well. All of it does feel too heavy for a child of his age, as miraculous’ and as smart as any child.

Fortunately, his memory is still sharp. He clearly remembered what plants he had to look for to offer poison. But this was still full of question marks, because Cio San himself did not understand what kind of poison attacked A Liang.

Indeed, in the book given by A Liang, there are many types of drugs to fight almost all kinds of poisons. But it is not explained there, how to know the type of poison that attacks it. And Cio San had absolutely no knowledge of the tabernacle.

Just by guessing it, he collected some plants in the dense forest. That was all right, because it was very difficult to find something in this dense forest.

After mixing the medicinal leaves by grinding them on the stone, and slightly burning them to heat up, Cio San then attached them to the blackened body part of A Liang. Then, some of the medicine he gave A Liang to swallow.

“Don't put too much energy first, Lopek. Fear even later the poison spread,” he said.

Actually this speech was too late, because the poison had already spread. The use of great energy to fly earlier, even making the poison work faster. Fortunately the rest of the chi in A Liang's body was still able to resist the poison, although it eventually failed as well.

Coupled with the exertion of energy to push out the needle. Increasingly make

the poison is spreading.

Cio San's knowledge of the use of chi (deep energy) for treatment has also been quite developed. But he did not intend to use it, because there are also some toxins that even more aggravating if there is an internal flow of energy from outside the body of the sufferer.
