The poisoned breakfast

The next day, as usual El woke up earlier than the other prisoners. He stood quietly and looked around the atmosphere inside the iron bars. The hope of justice began to be felt after remembering everything that Mr. Vishnu said to him.

Bisma and Rebecca came to see El that morning. Rebecca asked El.

"How are you, El? Are you all right?" ask Rebecca.

After they left, two policemen in special uniforms came to deliver breakfast complete with drinking water and fruits to Eliezer. In a firm and high tone, they said that before the trial, Eliezer should have breakfast first.

Eliezer felt that something was wrong with the two policemen and only looked at him deeply and occasionally watched the movements of the two policemen because it was not usual for Eliezer to be treated this way with a full meal to him.

Realizing that Eliezer was suspicious of them, the two policemen asked Eliezer to finish his breakfast as the trial was about to begin.

"Why are you just silent? Eat quickly, the trial will begin soon" one of the policemen told Eliezer.

To keep them quiet, Eliezer pretended to eat the breakfast. But he deliberately dropped the plate until all the food was spilled.

"Gosh, my food fell" Eliezer told the two policemen, upsetting them.

It was seen that the faces of the two policemen were about to get angry at him. Seeing all the anger on their faces, Eliezer smiled and became convinced that something was wrong with them. Feeling Eliezer thought that the food had been poisoned so he accidentally dropped the plate. Eliezer ate only one red apple to fill his stomach.

"Here you go, let's go out. It's time for you to get ready for the hearing" the policeman said again, asking Eliezer to come out.

Confidently, Eliezer stood towards the cell door and walked towards the courtroom, watched by the same two policemen.

In the courtroom, Mr. Gatot and Mr. Dwiki were present with all the charges that Eliezer filed on charges of robbery and murder that resulted in Mr. Rafael Bu Maria and Patricia have died. With Mila's presence as a witness and Eliezer's strength growing stronger, it is hoped that all the truth will be revealed.
