EMBERS
Edgar and His Evil Plans

At 17:45 the sky seemed cloudy, the air getting colder made Milla and some others immediately look for shelter. Some people choose to enter a store and others choose to use public facilities such as bus stops. Rain spots began to feel on the surface of the skin, the girl wearing white pants was increasingly accelerating her steps towards an empty shophouse terrace that looked unkempt. The girl neutralized her breath after running for a while.

A few moments later it rained heavily, hitting the surface of the earth. The sky was getting dark because of that, coupled with the power outage since 1 hour ago, there was only a faint light around. The sun is also almost sinking making the air feel cooler.

Several times the girl was seen checking her phone, the battery was getting reduced to make Milla cluck bitterly, when about to curse the car horn surprised her, the girl immediately turned to the left. He tilted his head, not knowing whose car was in front of him.

Looks like the car's glass went down a little, "want to go home?" The sound in the car shocked Milla. The girl squinted, forgetting who she was talking to

"Let's go home, I'll take you!" Bring that voice. Milla immediately returned to her consciousness.

"But if I get there, my clothes will get wet!" Shouted Milla, hoping for her small voice to be heard. The car door opened, showing a man with a charming visual walking towards him with a black umbrella open

Milla tilted her head, not knowing the man standing before her. The man chuckles little, "why?"

Milla shook her head slowly, "who is it?" The man in front of him said something special when he heard something coming from Milla's red lips

"Don't you forget? I'm Pasa's friend, the guy who was sitting in front of you, at the cafe." Mila nodded her head.

"Still not inget?"

Milla shook her head slowly, actually when at the cafe she had never paid attention to the surroundings, even she had forgotten the person who asked for permission to sit at her desk.

"Jovan, the guy who ran you that night," the man stuck out his hand. Although still a little confused, Milla still received a helping hand from the man before her.

"Yaudah, let me take you. There are no signs of rain stopping now" Bara said. Milla shook her head quickly

"We don't know!" He exclaimed, Bara's forehead wrinkled, "wasn't he already an acquaintance? I'm Jovan, Bara Jovan Gevano, "press the man at the end of the sentence

"Tap-" before finishing his sentence, Bara... The man immediately cut, "if you don't come with me, what do you want to ride? Night hunt,"

He raised his right lip upwards. "okay,".

It was raining very hard, almost like a storm. The streets looked deserted without any vehicles passing by. I think they prefer shelter to avoid the worst possible flash floods.

"Cold ain't it?" A short question came from the mouth of the man next to me. I looked at him for a moment.

"That's all," he nodded briefly and stopped his car on the side, making me wonder, he was fumbling around in the passenger seat, I don't know what he was looking for until he got back in his seat

"Nih use!" He threw a Hoodie at me. I turned to him before I let out another sound he cut off my words

"Please, it's still clean" he said, then drove back to the car. I think I should appreciate her kindness, I put on the Hoodie she gave me without asking any more questions. Until we got to the front gate of my house

Several times he honked the car horn, until my security guard opened the gate for us. Without any more words he just went straight into my yard

"Come on, come on in!" I thrived him. He looked up, then smiled briefly.

"Ga ah, I'll see you sometime,"

"Why? Now aja. Count as a thank you for anterin me twice!" persuade me once more. Feeling bad for rejecting Milla's persuasion, Bara nodded

"But it can't be long, there's business," the man scratched his nape that didn't itch. Milla smiled, then nodded.

"OK, come!" Say
