Chapter 1

"What..is it over?"

That night, an ambulance siren sounded as it was transporting emergency patients to Aizawa hospital, Tokyo.

"When that consciousness disappeared, only one voice was still heard in my sleep..."

"Ryu! Hang in!" The voice of the girl pitched anxious, scared and confused. It felt completely consumed by strong emotions.

"..my lover."

A couple of nurses and two doctors brought a man who had decreased consciousness as a result of three bullets hitting his stomach and left arm into the IGD room.

"Doc! His pulse is weakening!" Sisters say the condition of the patient.

"Once, do the surgery!" The man's orders as a surgeon were on his members.

"Good."

The long brown-haired girl in white as the doctor looked puzzled, what should she do after seeing the condition of the man she loved was being critical. He just stood back and forth in front of the IGD door

"Mayumi, relax!" The doctor named Hiroishi tried to calm the girl who was still pacing.

The 20-year-old girl was still trembling and anxious it stopped her steps.

"how would I calm down to see him in critical condition!" The cry stood before Hiroishi.

Slowly the tears ran down, feelings of anxiety and fear began to frighten him.

"Just leave it to me." Hiroishi was still trying to calm her down, though he hesitated to hug her.

The girl called Mayumi looked at Hiroishi full of high hopes in order to immediately save the patient alias lover because he knew that Hiroishi is the best surgeon and professional level. Right now, Mayumi could only rely on him.

"I beg you, Hiroishi." His tone still sounded trembling.

Hiroshi tries to touch both of Mayumi's shoulders, but his hands are still hesitant because he knows that Shimizu is the lover of his patient, Ryuzaki Nishimura.

"Give it to me!" He decided to answer that sentence with his smile so that Mayumi remained calm and prayed for the operation to be smooth.

"Doctor, the surgical equipment is complete." The sister told Hiroishi.

"And the patient's condition is still in critical condition."

"Well, then we'll have an operation.." Hiroishi.

"..and Mayumi, stay calm, okay?"

"Good." Answer Mayumi.

The operation is ongoing, Mayumi who is sitting quietly is contemplating and hoping.

"Ryu.hold on." Mumbled.

After a long wait for the results of the operation, it was finally reported that the operation went well.

The bright sun was finally back, the man who had been critically ill now looked stable after performing emergency surgery. However, he was still unconscious. Beside her, Mayumi was asleep waiting for her lover to wake up.

"Mah.yu.mi.." The sound of Ryu coming out of her lips made Mayumi aware.

"Ryu, are you awake?" Mayumi asked as she rubbed her two eyes that were awakened from her sleep.

Seeing Ryu still has not opened his eyes, but he continues to call "mayumi"

Mayumi clasped tightly onto one of Ryu's hands gently,

"I'm here."

Hearing Mayumi's voice, Ryu's eyes slowly awakened. Mayumi was happy with the crying and hugged her.

"Ryu, Thank goodness.." Legacy.

Ryu lips along with a thin smile and relieved to see Mayumi aka her lover remain by her side.

"Sorry, I must be worrying you." Sahut Ryu's.

"I think so, you scare me.." Mayumi's tone still sounded sad it looked back at her.

Ryu looked confused for a moment to see Mayumi's tears still flowing in front of him, but his body that was still difficult to move could not wipe away his tears.

"You don't have to worry about that." Mayumi understood.

He took a long breath. "The most important thing is that you get well, Ryu!"

With a fiery tone, as a future wife will take care of Ryu with all her heart to recover quickly and immediately get out of the Hospital.

Ryu smiled faintly and was relieved to see Mayumi being able to smile back. He recalled the incident in Yokohama, that he was one of the victims of the shooting.

"I thought.Will my life just sink in? Apparently not, my life has been given a chance by him. Because he knows he doesn't accept being lonely. But..what if I'm in that position?"

After two weeks in hospital, Ryu was allowed out. With pleasure, he brought a surprise in front of Mayumi in the crowd. A ring box from Ryu's hand showed him and crouched down.

"Marry me, Mayumi."

Mayumi felt amazed and embarrassed mixed with nervousness was even confused to answer it.

Some people noticed that it prompted Mayumi to immediately accept Ryu's proposal.

With a smile plus nervousness, "I'm willing.."

Hearing the answer made the people happy and Ryu joined in and put his ring on one of Mayumi's soft fingers.

Of course, the two smiled and hugged. Witnessing that, people were happy while clapping. However, Hiroishi's mood was slightly disturbed due to liking Mayumi. She hoped Mayumi would be happy because she didn't want to see her cry anymore.

"Excuse me. Are you Dr. Hiroishi?" Ask someone to approach Hiroishi.

Hearing that familiar tone, Hiroishi instantly knew him.

"certain. Nice to meet you, Miyuki." Hiroishi replied with a warm smile at that tone.

The day continues to change, Ryu by wearing a neat shirt that wants to meet Mayumi who is still working at Aizawa Hospital. The steps go to the door of the escalator and towards the 4th floor, where Mayumi's office is located.

The door was opened and precisely on the 4th floor, slowly he walked and saw the nurse girl in black bangs straight and neat under his forehead seemed to give some file report to his friend.

"Good work Miyuki, thank you." His friend replied to a nurse girl of Mayumi's age.

"Sama-sama, then I go first.excuse me." Reply white nurse girl with braided hair.

He seemed to be walking in the opposite direction with Ryu. The two passed each other without eye contact until something knocked their minds. Ryu halted his steps first then turned around and noticed the girl he had passed by.

Without thinking, he continued his steps. However, his heart felt trembling.

"What's wrong with me?" Her thought.

The turn of the girl also stopped her steps then turned around and noticed Ryu had already gone a long way.

"Isn't he Mayumi's sister's fiancee?" Mumbled.

The girl is Yamashita Miyuki or called Miyuki, a nurse who has just been accepted to work at Aizawa Hospital.

Ryu walked into Mayumi's office after knocking many times but there was no response from her. He had already guessed that Mayumi was not in that place.

"Is he off duty today?" Mumbled.

He asked one of the nurses where Mayumi was. It turns out that as Ryu suspected, Mayumi is off duty today.

"Can I give you her home address?" Pinta Ryu to the nurse earlier.

By giving Mayumi an address, Ryu was able to meet her. Isn't that suspicious the reason why Ryu doesn't know Mayumi's address? Of course, it's suspicious because as Mayumi's fiance must know where the lover lives or know about him. But her heroine, Ryu is not concerned with Mayumi's personality except her love for Mayumi.

Just as he got into the car then turned it on and intended to leave. His vision was even sentient to see the girl he had passed earlier.

Seeing the girl was aka Miyuki was pulled forcibly into the car by a motherly woman but has a body lansing like a girl in her 20s.

"Take me off! I don't want to go home!!" The tone was so loud by Miyuki's girl.

The old woman did not care, no matter how hard Miyuki was, she still forced her inside and brought her home.

"Hurry in!" Firmly pushing Miyuki into the car.

Ryu who was still watching it was aware that he was actually also hastily meeting Mayumi to his address place and was not concerned about the thing just now that happened because it was none of his business, not wanting to mix the hands of others.

"I almost forgot about it."

Arriving at that address, Ryu was standing before the Villa house. Without a second thought, he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

"Mayumi, are you home?" Ryu asked a relaxed tone at the call.

"Of course, I.at home. What's the matter, Ryu?" Mayumi's voice answered Ryu's call.

"I'm looking for you, why didn't you tell me you weren't on duty?"

"Heheheheh.sorry, I forgot about it because my job is so much so I forgot to tell you."

Without further ado, Ryu informs her that he is in front of her house.

"WHAT??!" Shouted Mayumi. Ryu was surprised to hear Mayumi's scream from his cell phone, not only was his voice also heard one house.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming here?"

Ryu gives up if he answers at length the reason why he went to his house without telling her in the least. He plans to surprise Mayumi.

"Hurry up here, I'm waiting for you." Ryu simply replied in a cold tone then ended his call.

While waiting for Mayumi, the sound of the girl screaming in pain made Ryu curious.

"Argh! I'm sorry!" Shouted the sadistic tone of the girl.

"How dare you run away and do that stupid job!" There was also a firm voice by the woman while hitting the girl earlier.

Although only a sound was heard from Ryu's ears, but he was curious what was behind the sound. Yet...

"Ryu, did I keep you waiting?" The arrival of Mayumi's voice stopped Ryu from being curious about it.

"Oh, not really. I'd like to take you to lunch, is that okay?"

"Of course." Mayumi happily accepts it without suspecting what Ryu is thinking.

September is approaching Ryu and Mayumi's wedding day, the two can't wait for it after making a pact with each other that "Love should be cherished too."

However, lately the relationship has become boring after not meeting half a month. What happened between the two?!

Yesterday, everything felt fine.

"One day, one week and a half months, I don't know what happened between my relationship with him, without meeting, without communication and many obstacles to meeting him.. Until one day when another week was my wedding day, I was thinking whether the plan would go well or that, to be honest the marriage hurt me!'

september 9, Ryu is still in an office job at his largest company having received a call from Tokyo University Hospital.

"With Ryuzaki Nishimura?"

"Right, with my own Ryuzaki. What's up?"

"We from the Tokyo hospital want to inform you that a patient named Shimizu Mayumi had an accident last night with a bad condition so she can not be helped anymore."

Whahuh? Was this a bad dream or a joke after hearing such bad news?! Impossible, Ryu can't possibly easily believe that Mayumi was in an accident and swallowed.

"No way, he can't go! It's just a joke, isn't it?" Her trembling and stiff tone was simply unacceptable!

He ran hastily and rushed to the Hospital to ascertain what the patient really is the figure of Mayumi, he replied. . .

"No way." Ryu said stiff-faced and completely still in disbelief after seeing the pale face of Mayumi who was already helpless again.

He is angry and almost mad to lose the girl he loves, someone comes to see him it gives a sadistic blow to Ryu.

"It's all your fault!!" The familiar tone shouted was full of annoyance.

Ryu fell down and endured the pain. He did not care how much of a blow he received by Hiroishi.

"I'm sick!" Said Hiroishi finally stopped hitting Ryu.

"Even though I still love Mayumi, did you at least not hurt her, huh?!!" Hiroishi.

Ryu did not respond to her again, he chose to shut his mouth and get up again to leave the place.

"Is it really all my fault?" Her thought.

A long bridge, full of vehicles passing by. The figure of a 180cm tall man with small wounds still visible on his face was visibly walking weakly on the outskirts. He stopped his steps and saw the sea still open wide under this giant bridge.

"Why is the sea so vast and easy to swallow the girl I love? Why?"

A strong wind came blowing away that sad feeling of hers.

"Was it because of the wind that pushed it to the sea?"

He really did not accept that this reality must really exist and happen. She wished it was just a dream, but after remembering Mayumi's pale face earlier Ryu gave up. It feels empty and pointless without it.

"It's so cruel."

He was unable to show the sadness on his face only his heart and mind felt dead feeling the bitterness that existed in his emotions.

Slowly one of his legs climbed the bridge fence with the intention to end his life because his life was no longer meaningful in this world. Without Mayumi, it felt really confused what to do other than get angry and crazy.

She ends her life so she can meet Mayumi at the same place.

"Wait for me, Mayumi." His murmur was actually preparing to jump into the sea at an altitude of 300m from that huge bridge.

He finally jumped up after closing his eyes, yet somehow something got stuck in his hand. What's the matter?

A hand appeared out of nowhere it drew one of Ryu's hands.

"Are you crazy, huh?!" The familiar girl exclaimed trying to pull Ryu with all her might.

Ryu is surprised that the girl who pulled him is the nurse girl he met a few months ago, Miyuki.

"You..."

"Get a tight hold!" Miyuki exclaimed for Ryu to hold her hand tightly.

Instead of tightly holding Miyuki's hand, Ryu tried to let go of her.

"Take me off!"

Miyuki did not care, with both hands it was trying its hardest to pull Ryu up and it worked.

The two seemed to be falling panting, Ryu did not understand why Miyuki was pulling him. Then, it was unexpected that Ryu even received a great slap from Miyuki. It was as if his punishment was for him!

Ryu was stiff and his whole body froze, and the sound of sobs was heard by Miyuki.

"Stupid! Are you really stupid?!" Miyuki.

"Ending your life is the same as hurting yourself, is Mayumi-sama going to accept you with your stupid treatment?!"

"Of course not! I won't!"

"Please don't kill your life for LOVE."

Those words from Miyuki really made Ryu's eyes seem trembling and stiff. It felt like the word was a warning from her that she shouldn't be like this just out of LOVE.
