Chapter 28

After attending all the board meetings, David headed to his room, for a moment he took a break to unwind, it was time to schedule lunch, his mind was immediately directed to the state of Sarah at home.

"What else is he doing?" David muttered as he grabbed his phone lying on the table.

When he was about to call Sarah's number, suddenly someone knocked on the door from the outside, David put his phone back down.

"Who? come in" he said.

Behind once appeared Gani and his two bodyguards. All three seemed to be in a hurry, as if there was something crucial they wanted to convey.

"What's wrong?"

"Master, come down, they are making a mess because they want to meet with Mr. David" Gani said.

David put on his suit again, he stepped out of his room with the bodyguard and Gani. Heading to the elevator with a cold face but still scary for every employee who passed by him.

"Master, be careful" whispered Gani. He positioned himself as David's brother-in-law.

Out of the elevator, they headed to the exit of the office, from far away his eyes were fixed on the group of men who were waiting for him. David paused for a moment, staring intently at the bald-headed man, who was none other than Samuele.

"We have the bald one" David told Gani and his bodyguards.

Samuele put out his cigarette fire, he stepped closer towards David. Gani and his bodyguards are about to prevent Sumuele but are driven away by David.

"You play sneaky, I don't like your way" Samuele said.

David's eyebrows are pursed, he doesn't understand Samuele's intentions. During this time they did not act directly hostile, only business competition, then married Fanny to Samuele.

"You said that phrase to yourself?" ask David.

"Stop bragging! Give me back what is mine" Samuele said with his face.

"What do you mean?!"

"Fanny, where is my wife you're hiding?!"

Hearing that David could not hold back his laughter. David laughs at Samuele's absurd accusations.

"You really think that? huhuh.."

Samuele was irritated at the collar of David's shirt, but David briskly brushed it away.

"You dare not touch me! Or else you'll die in front of my office!" David gave an ultimatum.

Samuele was asked to retreat by his bodyguards so as not to trigger a commotion that harmed them. David tidied up his tie that had fallen apart.

"Don't look for your wife here, I have more business with her, she's not my taste after you're with her" David said.

Samuele feels increasingly humbled, as if David wants to show that Fanny is not the ideal type of woman he wants.

"If you dare to hide it, then we will duel," said Samuele who had not trusted David's words.

"You sure? did he leave you too? it seems like your wife's nature will never change, teach her about the values of being an expensive woman" David said.

Gani and his bodyguard laugh, not at Samuele, but at David's way of getting out of his zone of feelings for Fanny.

"You son of a bitch David! If you find out you're the one who hid Fanny, I'll make sure you lose the one you love, keep it!"

After threatening David, Samuele opted out of the Angkasa Group office. David is silent, he is not afraid of Samuele's threats, but what if something happens to his family, including Sarah and the baby. David rushes to turn his body towards Fani and his bodyguard.

"Did you hear that bald one say? he can do that reckless action at any time, put security in my family home, and especially for Sarah and my baby" he said.

"I want to go home, meet Mami" he said.

Gani is asked to remain in the office, David only brings some of his bodyguards to accompany him. Along the way, David relentlessly called Sarah's phone, but her contract wife never answered him.

"Miss Sarah said she was sleeping, sir. Said the bodyguard at the house guarding him," said David's bodyguard, who also found out about the condition of the house from his friends.

Arriving at his parents' house, David warns his bodyguard to keep his mouth locked if Mami Greta wonders about David. While from a distance David saw Mami Greta out of Vavilion with a crossbar.

"Where's mom from?" ask David.

Mami Greta was stunned, she pulled a blank look behind her back.

"Mommy, out of Vavili, clean up, Dav. Finally you come also dear, Mami misses the youngest son of Mami," said Mami Greta.

David glanced for a moment at Vavili, but with a sifap Mami Greta pulled the hand of her son. He invited David into the house. Mami Greta switched the conversation, she said about David who never married.

"Lunch is dear, tips while obrolin your personal life," said the Thai woman.

David had guessed beforehand that it would be reviewed by his mother. But as a man who does not want to be too tidy on his mother, David is just thrilling without responding.

"When the hell, Dav, did you bring a future wife?"

"Wait a minute, Mommy. One day Mami was shocked, "he replied.

He does not answer with lies, nor does he give the truth. David is still keeping Sarah mentally from being pestered by his mother.

"When is David? at least you have a girlfriend first," Mommy's boss.

"Wait a minute, Mommy. Ribet has a girlfriend."

Mami Greta whispered to her son, "Or have you not been able to escape Fabny huh?"

David who was gulping for a moment choked, he was very upset if there was someone who mentioned Fanny's name in front of him, even though it was his own mother.

"What the hell, Mi?! I didn't like the woman being discussed, just now her husband was doing it in the office, he accused me of hiding Fanny, the bald guy was threatening," David said. Her appetite is gone for discussing Fanny at the dinner table.

Mami Greta gasped, silently pondering like she was terrified.

"Mommy why? Mami's scared because of the bald guy's threat? relax Mami, I'll take care of everything" said David.

Mami Greta was trembling, she was trying to calm herself down in front of her son. Not afraid of Samuele's threats, but what if there is another new scandal in his family because of Samuele's accusations against David.

"Dav, you better get that straight, say you're not the one who hid Fanny" her mother suggested.

"Yes, Mi. It's not me, why hide the wife of people anyway I also have a wife," David release. His eyes were wide noticing his words.

Mami Greta furrowed her brows at David's words.

"What do you mean, Dav? Wife?"

David would not respond to his mother's question by lying, he glanced at the clock, there were many meetings he had to do that afternoon.

"Yes yes, Mi. If there is no more chatter, Dabid pamit, a lot of work," he said.

Mami Greta is overwhelmed when facing her son, always David avoids when discussing marriage. Mami Greta ungin prevents her son, but she fears that David is getting lazy again to go home because of her coercive treatment.

"That kid, when I wanted to surprise him, how to say this to David" muttered Mami Greta seeing the departure of David's car.
