Xiao Shi's motorcade had already walked towards the Emperor's residence. He used his magic to be directly at the gate of the Emperor residence without having to pass through the concubines and maids who would definitely gossip.

" Take it and put it first" he told Yuan and Yanran.

Only Xiao Shi and Zao remained inside, yet Zao had yet to realize anything. He was still struggling with all the paper on his desk.

A little while later Zao began to realize that someone was still standing there. He breathed rough.

" It's not me...." Zao stopped his words as soon as he saw who had been standing by the door.

" Why are you standing there and just being quiet? Come in and sit down" Zao said as he approached Xiao Shi.

" What happened to your arrival this empress? Is there a problem?" ask Zao worriedly. This was the first time Xiao Shi had come to her in the study, happy indeed but Zao was worried that something urgent was happening.

" Servant heard last night you invited a servant to dinner. Forgive me for not being able to fulfill your invitation Your Majesty"
