Chapter 6: Operation Begin

"Actually, I just want this mission to not end like before, that's all I want. We'd all almost die if there wasn't him. What I mean is Aris. Somehow he ended up here, but he still wants to help us after what we did. I hope it works without him, that's all!" Akane spoke in her mind.

"Our introduction was the 'Four Reverie', a class B adventurer group. Allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Rei, a gunslinger. The woman wearing the glasses was Malice, a priest. Then there's Lancey as our vanguard. The last blonde woman in a ponytail was Rachel, a magus." A brief introduction from that leader, Rei.

"It's nice to meet you all!" Speak to the four members.

Suddenly there was another knock from the front door.

"Good day! I am an A-class adventurer, the 'Armorless Archer Delta' who will help you with your mission! Please cooperate!" One came with a full archer's gear.

A person in mysterious protective clothing instantly annihilated all the Undead just a stomp of his weapon.

"How can...?" Akane was wondering.

"Where did all the Undead go? It's so weird!"

Chika was also astonished.

The mysterious person started to approach as two people appeared behind him.

"Hello everything! I'd like to ask for a minute! Have you ever seen a blackish-brown Greatsword?" Ask the mysterious man.

"Devil...!" Shouted Akemi raising her weapon.

"Eh...? Now, we don't want to fight with you, humans! We were just passing by, and wanted to find something!" Saying the woman behind the man.

"Ah..cheap reason! You're here to kidnap King Vigilo, right? I already know your identity!" Akemi's intimidating words.

"Ah really?" The two demons were confused.

"I think you're overreacting, Akemi!" Akane calms Akemi down.

"I won't back down again when dealing with demons like them." Akemi started to stir.

"Listen son, I saved you from the Undead earlier. And you didn't even say thank you to us?" Light up the man.

"Well, I'll accept your help, demons!" Bentak Akemi's.

"Hiiii.... Blood Shaman's! There's something wrong with this kid!" Gravestone was suddenly terrified.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, Gravestone!" Blood Shaman.

"Who the hell are they?" Ask Hinata.

"The two people who were talking were the Gravestone Demon and the Blood Shaman, while the one wearing the hooded robe was..."

"Yeah... Akemi, haven't seen you in a long time!" Said Aris who released her veil.

"Haaaah...! Don't talk too much! Yepyahoo!!!" Shouts Akemi started attacking.

"Eh... Waita minute!" Shouted Gravestone who was not ready.

Akemi's attack was arrested with Aris. Akemi retreated away from them.

"Oh so now you're siding with the devil huh! Die you all!" Shouted once again Akemi who stirred.

The others could only watch the fight between Akemi and Aris. But Gravestone just stomped his spear to the ground. I don't know what he's doing?

A few minutes later...

"Hufts..huft...huft..." Akemi's breathing was heavy.

"That's Akemi! Apologize to them! You won't win this time!" Shouted Akane.

"Yes... Don't force yourself!"

"Better just give up on you!"

The sound of a slash from Aris's sword wounded Akane's body trying to protect Akemi badly enough.

Akane's body he caught and he clenched it tightly.

"Don't do anything stupid like that!" Last message from Akane who died.

"No! Nah! Nah! Akaneeeee!!!!" Shouted regret Akemi.

Shortly after, the Warrance appeared carrying the Ancient Frost Dragon.

"Retreat! We have to retreat!" Commando from Delta

They all left Vigilo without any result and left Akane's body.
